The Container Store

My wife has dreamed of coming here. I wish that were hyperbole, but alas, she just loves storage containers and organization systems. That quality in her is what keeps me from living in my own filth, though, so I embrace that quality! We were pretty impressed with the range of organization options they have, and since we didn’t think to measure a nook in our pantry before heading here, we’re guaranteed a second trip coming up soon! We did buy a couple of odds and ends, but our larger purchases will come later.

I have come here to buy the decorations for my kitchen. There is a big choice of items. It is an excellent place who want their house to look stylish.
The energetic and knowledgeable staff helped me. All the items laid on their places, it was not difficult to navigate there. And the quality. even if you do not touch the item, just look at it and you will see that it has a good quality.
Some items were expensive for me but they were so luxurious that I could not tear my eyes from them.

Awful. Worst check out process I have ever experienced. The incompetence and inefficiency is unbelievable. I waited 20 minutes to have an available cashier call next in line (which was me), but then take the person behind me when we both walked over causing me to lose my original spot in line. I cannot imagine how long the wait would be on a busy day since it took 30 minutes on a Monday morning.

Shopped here a couple times lately. Good selection. Good options for expensive and less expensive solutions. Always clean and ALWAYS organized. (No surprise). And every time I’ve asked for assistance, it has been helpful.

Honestly, I adore shopping here it is my favorite place in Atlanta! An organizers paradise! Team is friendly and helpful, and as expected the place is tidy and clean!

If you need some sort of container then as the name says this is the place to come. They have a wide variety of items that should encompass most of your needs. Everything seems to be of a good quality and the place is fairly well laid out and easy to navigate. The issue I have with the store is you are going to pay for the convenience of shopping here. When I say pay I noticed that on an item like a flip top bottle they are over twice the price I would pay going to a brew store. So in all if you just want to stop one place and are willing to pay the premium they will do fine otherwise they do have items you wont find easily elsewhere and is worth the trip for those items.

A lot of very expensive but useful things for the house. If I were shopping on someone else’s dime, I’d be hauling stuff out of this store by the cart-​loads. As I’m not, I’ll stick to Target.

Wow, it is difficult to go into this store and not want to buy everything. If you love to stay organized then you have found the right place. They have organizational items for the kitchen, bedroom, garage and just about any other area that you need to address. Employees are very accessible and knowledgeable about the store’s products. It is large, open and well organized.
My only problem is that I have a tendency to wander over to the closets and peruse the clothing. I forget that they are not for sale and only props. I did this twice on my last visit and just couldn’t help myself. Some habits are just hard to break.

I came here specifically looking for a variety of Christmas gift wrapping materials, and was extremely pleased with the selection and service.
I’ve struggled in past years to find really good quality wrapping material, gift boxes and gift bags, and was so glad I found the Container Store this year, because I got some really good wrapping materials that help make my gifts look a little nicer.
Of course they sell a lot of other container type items, but I didn’t look at those and can’t comment on them. The gift wrapping materials were all in a big section in the center of the store
The store is well laid out and it’s really easy to find things. They had a lot of staff on the floor who were very helpful. In particular, one sales person found me looking at some gift boxes for food items and suggested I look in another area. Sure enough, in the area she directed me to, I found just the perfect box.
As a specialty store for container type items, I think they do a real good job and I would definitely come here again.

Inspiring ideas but expensive. in addition, this store is always short on staff, they have one register open for check out. On weekends and peak time, they might have two!

I’m goin’ 3 stars. This place should be a Virgo’s dream. I, being said Virgo. And it almost is. but it’s like one of those dreams where you like, see something you want. and you reach for it. but it keeps getting pulled away from you. OR you reach for it and you just see the price tag and it turns into a nightmare.
Okay maybe I’m being a little hard on them. I really, really like the stuff they have and the variety of options, but it is way too expensive for me to justify buying MOST of the things in there. For example, I went to another organizationally-​focused, needful-​things type of furniture and accessories store. (:cough: blue and yellow: cough:) and found this little maybe 2 – 3 foot tall filing cabinet type thing. It came in three colors, and it had like 3 – 4 mid sized drawers. It was about $ 40. I wasn’t deadset on it so I didn’t buy it. I came here to Container Store and found something almost the same to the naked, untrained eye (only difference is drawer size,) and it is over $ 100. I am serious.
Then they’ve got a «3 case storage chest» for $ 59. That looks like the scrapbook paper storage you find at Michaels Arts and Crafts for $ 20. Maybe I am cheap but I am telling you these things are a bit overpriced. I have been in the store a handful of times but rarely buy anything. Worth checking out still if you have the money to pay someone to design your closet storage on a computer or put a magnetic, customizable wall organization on above your desk… or just need something super specific and odd. So check it out but don’t suffer from buyers remorse!

This store always keeps me coming back for more items time and time again. I get creative ideas on how to organize everything from my house to my car. The staff is always very helpful and can give you some good suggestions to help you with your ultimate organizing goal. On some items can be a little pricey so be sure to shop around before purchasing but then there are some items that are only available in this store. I think I have a slight organization addition, but its contained!!!

I’d love to work here, that’s how terrific The Container Store is!
I don’t think I’ve ever walked out of this store or one of its other locations without a cart full of neat stuff to organize my life, my stuff, or my other organizing tools. haha!
Their Clearance Corner is a gold mine of savings on discontinued or slightly nicked items. Check it out (but leave some of the good stuff for me)!
The staff are above par when it comes to retail service. Professional on a level of flight attendants. Smarts, savvy, and helpfulness that make you feel you’re a VIP. Patient, friendly, and efficient.
The store is laid out logically. Everything is clean. Prices are well-​marked. And they carry bulk items to your car.
Guess I cannot «contain» myself when it comes to this store! =)

Storage for your storage containers… LOL. I remember when this store came to Dunwoody and how cool it was… 10 years later, and its still pretty cool. It offers good ideas for organizing and storage, I was kind of hoping that walking through here would inspire me to clean up the basement… I think i need to walk through a few more time ;).
I thought that the items were a little on the higher priced side then what you could get from Ikea or target, but the lay out is nice and the people are friendly… the parking lot is kind of a nightmare at times– so always keep an eye out.

I love Container Stores, I’m not afraid to admit it.
Even though as soon as I enter, I feel like my already neat and organized living spaces are barely up to par, seeing all the hangers, clear glass containers, attractive boxes in every shape, size, color, texture, material and opacity, Elfa shelves and organizers, trash cans, storage tubs, wall hangers, shoe racks, laundry bins, steamer trunks (because who doesn’t still use one of those?), and everything else I never knew I needed to stay organized, but obviously can’t live without.
It’s an organizer’s dream. Truly. Of course, everything comes with a price, but if you desperately need to get your life in order (or just can’t live without that adorable desk-​sized trash can that looks like an apple, or those sliding shelves), this store is excellent.
Staff are typically very friendly and helpful, and they have special nights each summer for kids preparing to go to camp or college when they offer special store-​wide discounts and check lists for basics they’ll need.
I’m a fan, and if I had more money, a larger apartment and unlimited time, Container Store would be outfitting the whole thing to keep me up to my eyeballs in organization.

My tiny closets are chock full of Elfa products, however those products stop about 3 feet off the ground leaving lots of useless space in the lower portions of my closet. A friend mentioned the annual 30% Elfa sale on his facebook page so I decided to run over and see about fixing up that empty hole. The store was busy when I walked in during a weekday at lunch. I wandered around looking for someone who could help me. When I finally found said woman she told me that if I needed help with planning I would need to make an appointment. The problem is that even if you don’t need help with planning, you know what you want, it is hard as hell to find the exact pieces to use… like I gave up on my dream of having slide out shelves because I couldn’t find the brackets and baskets the shelving sits in. CRAP! Oh well, I randomly picked up some items that I thought would fit together properly, paid, and left. I got 30% off — yay– here’s to hoping that the pieces I got actually work:)
Key Point: Make an appointment ahead of time if you want to buy Elfa shelving, even if it’s filler.

This location is good, but getting in and out of the parking lot is not the easiest.
The staff is usually pretty friendly and attentive, more-​so at the holidays. The Container Store is huge and if you are not prepared, you would get lost and spend 3 fortunes.
Know what you need, get in, get out.
Except at Christmas. Be prepared to browse.

As an organizational freak I love The Container Store! Who doesn’t love organizing and saving space here and there around the house? The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars… it is not the cheapest place for the same units. I trust the quality at The Container Store, but I have found the same quality products at other stores.

What can I say, I’ve kind of become obsessed with this place. The selection is incredible, and the store is bright, airy and (not shockingly) VERY organized. The best part about this location is the people who work here — the staff are energetic, courteous, and SUPER helpful about helping you find your perfect storage solutions. This is THE place to go to help organize your home, one room at a time.
I’m in love with the elfa line, I’ve just completed a master closet project and I am planning on doing the garage and pantry next. The designers are very attentive to details in helping you plan the perfect project for your space and your needs. The products are easy to assemble, and the store and staff are on hand at every step by phone to assist. Returns/​exchanges are easy, no questions, no receipt even needed.
The other great feature about the container store is the shop online/​pick up in store service, letting you do your shopping at work, and pick up your items on your way home, no extra time needed. There is even a curbside service so you don’t even have to get out of the car — just call ahead on your way to the store. so much win.

I have been a fan of the Container Store for years. This place feeds my OCD tendencies like no other!!! The Container Store can be somewhat overpriced, but they have some products that you cannot easily find elsewhere. The store is always clean and organized, and the sales associates are friendly and helpful. I simply love this store!
