After scanning Unilocal for a good 2 hours to find a nice salon that did natural hair near Peachtree, I finally found the place.
When you first walk into the BBB you are greeted with a smile and a «Hello» from the staff. BBB was already casting a great first impression.
I was directed to shampooing upon arrival and I was so lucky to have a stylist that was gentle with my hair. He knew exactly how to handle my kinky curls.
After shampooing (and a nice head massage) we headed to the drying station. The drying was pretty quick. After that he trimmed and pressed my hair.
If you want eyebrow threading done, the stylist seems to be pretty popular and was booked for most of the day, so make your appointment beforehand.
The environment gives off this posh but laid back feeling, the vibe is nice and peaceful and the space is nicely decorated.
Overall, BBB will be seeing more of me.

I live in California but was having my engagement ceremony in Atlanta over the weekend and I wanted someone who could do my hair and makeup for 2 events. Mariame and her staff were extremely professional and prompt any time I called them or emailed them. Mariame did a FABULOUS job on both my hair and makeup for both days and I got so many compliments! Mariame is amazing at what she does and if I ever move to Atlanta I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Was in town this past weekend for a wedding and needed my hair done, after carefully checking Unilocal I decided to visit the BOXX. I was very impressed with the establishment… the employees really understand customer service. They genuinely cared about you… From the moment I walked in until I walked out I was addressed by my name. I was seen at my scheduled time and they were accommodating with my hair needs. Chenelle and Mariame did a phenomenal job attending to everyones needs and ensuring they looked their best. and they did! I had my hair and makeup done by Mariame in these glamorous curls and my make up was so flawless !! It stayed on all through my wedding and the reception thereafter, inspite of my tears of joy!

The Boxx is great!!! Mariam cut and styled my hair into the most beautiful layers. My hair looks amazing when I wake up and I’m being completely serious. I have no idea what she did to make it look so nice, but I can’t wait to go back again. I recently returned for a pedicure and I’m not kidding when I say it was the best pedicure ever. I’m used to nail stylists telling me that my feet are great, but Christian worked so much dead skin off of my feet, and made them feel baby smooth again. I also opted out of nail polish, so Christian buffed my nails to an amazing shine. It’s been two weeks and they are still so shiny that it looks like top coat!

I had a great experience with Mariame (the owner) and her assistant, who did my bridal makeup as well as makeup for my 4 bridesmaids and my mother. They came to us at the hotel we were staying at near my wedding venue. They were on time, professional, and all around lovely people — kept me calm and did my makeup perfectly even though I was nervous and emotional as a bride can be on her wedding day. My makeup looked flawless and I received tons of compliments. If I ever need professional makeup services in the Atlanta area again, I will be getting them done at Boxx Beauty Bar. Thank you!

This is a great one stop shop salon. I was staying in the area and going to a banquet and need hair and nails done. While these ladies were not initially pleased that I showed up 15 minutes late to my appointment (I got lost), they managed to fit me in anyway and did a great job. The manicurist had to literally kneel by my chair while my hair was being done so that everything would be completed in time. My hair and nails looked awesome. I got compliments all night and felt like a million bucks. Prices aren’t cheap but appropriate for buckhead– $ 40 for a blowout with curls, $ 40 for a standard mani/​pedi (which includes hand and foot massage, all the standard stuff). The décor is adorable, and they give you free voss water and I believe other options too. Great place to go to.

Jocelyn, who does my brows, is such a doll! Not to mention they look SO much better already! Love this place!

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful experience at The Boxx Beauty Bar. Mariame did a phenomenal job. So talented. Facility is very nice and clean. Very reasonably price and well worth it! Highly recommend this spot!

I have nothing but great things to say about the services myself and my bridal party received from Mariame. She was so professional and punctual. I showed her two pictures of how I envisioned myself as well as my bridesmaids and she nailed it! I also asked her to do my future mother-in-law’s makeup and she gave her age appropriate but still gorgeous makeup. I got nothing but compliments the day of my wedding. The makeup and hair stayed flawless the entire night even though we were all dancing, eating and drinking. The makeup also photographed amazingly which is important because these are the photos that will be with me the rest of my life. Any future event I have I would not hesitate to call on Mariame to ensure that I look the very best I can for whatever event I may be attending.

Love, love, love this place! I tried multiple makeup artists and was SO discouraged. thank goodness I found Mariame at The Boxx Beauty Bar! She has done my makeup multiple times and makes me feel like Miss America every single time!!! So thankful to be able to have her come out for my wedding — I have never felt prettier!
