This place is a nice family run place. There is always a sweet girl with glasses there and the food is always on point. The drunken noodles are my favorite but the curries are really nice too. I definitely would recommend this place to someone that is looking for traditional Thai food.

We love Thai5’s food and typically get it delivered with no problems. The exception being a few weeks ago when we decided to dine in, and it was probably one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. We were one of three tables, so it was far from busy(which maybe should have been our red flag). The server was incredibly rude throughout our meal and not attentive at all. We definitely will not be dining in again.

Tried their sushi combo Decent quantity for the price(though not cheap) «Salad» was mostly lettuce Miso soup was a 3 star Sushi was sad sad. Rolls are heavy on the(dry) rice, light on the meat and veggies. Flavor was flat all around Heard good things about the Thai dishes so I might give them one more try

Great Thai food in Atlanta. I must tell you this place was fantastic and the vide of Little 5 Points was great. The outside of this building will make you think twice about walking in, but I will tell you the cool little walk up to a simple oriental theme is pretty cool. Nothing fancy here but you will get great Tropical Drinks and Thai Food.

My go to place for Thai food so far in Atlanta. They have a really good selection of Thai food. They do dollar sushi on Monday nights and Tuesday nights. Really cool atmosphere and super chill. Priced also really well for what I feel is quality Thai food. Located in the hip Little 5. Great place to grab food after a weird afternoon or whenever!

Average food, not great but adequate. The biggest issue with this place is that their delivery system is horrible. And I mean HORRIBLE. We’re talking«couple-hours» horrible. And then the food arrives cold. After trying several times to give them the benefit of the doubt(rain delays, traffic, etc.), I’ve finally gotten it into my thick skull that they will simply never get the food delivered in any timely manner. Do yourself a favor and never order food from this place.

Had this delivered at home when I was craving green curry. They came quickly and the curry was spicy! Hit the spot(even if I was sweating through it)! The only downside was that the curry didn’t have nearly as many veggies in it as other local Thai places typically

This is usually our go-to for Thai. Granted, there were a couple of mediocre meals, but overall, it has been steady. Last night was bad. We started with chicken satay, and to call it rubbery would be an understatement. I really wasn’t sure what I was eating. Then there were the bamboo shoots. They tasted like they’d been marinated in dish soap. To top it off,(ironic pun) the head chef was in a tank top. He was wearing an apron, but not the kind that covered his armpits — because there is no such thing. It was grossly unsanitary.

Some of the best Thai food in Atlanta! You definitely have to try the Drunken noodles, by far the best dish they have! Their Chicken Pad Thai and Cheese rolls also never disappoint. The service varies from time to time.

RUDERUDERUDE The food wasn’t as good as I expected, but i’m rating one star for customer service. I had a meal delivered to my place of work, and the delivery guy literally THREW the food at me. Literally. Had I been a millisecond slower the food would have hit the floor. I did nothing to him, nor was I rude when ordering. And the restaurant is an 8 minute drive from my job. He entered with no smile or emotion on his face, and brushed past my customers to throw the food at me. Before I could even say thank you he was gone! Even my customers asked what his issue was. I slick didn’t want to eat the food after that… RUDE!

Tonight was a disappointment. A friend and I went here for dinner and unfortunately within 15 minutes, we saw 3 different rats. We asked for our checks immediately and made our server aware. She came back to tell us that the manager was aware, the building next door somehow caused them to have a hole in the roof and they were preparing to call an exterminator. We got our check, there wasn’t a comp or discount of any sort and the situation was just swept under the rug. I won’t be going back here.

This is my go to take out Thai spot! The establishment is no frills. Décor: As soon as you walk in, you walk through what resembles a little cave, before ascending some stairs. Inside you will find a heavily decorated eclectic Thai establishment, complete with a make shift tiki stand! Service: Service varies but for the most part is pretty efficient. My only complaint in regards to service is if you are dining with guests, food(appetizers and main dishes), may not arrive at the same time. I personally dislike this, as the option there-forth is either awkwardly watching someone eat, or waiting, and your food becoming cold. Food: the food is great! It’s what keeps me coming back! I have tried there drunken noodles, curry, and Thai roti! All of which I would recommend. I would also recommend the thaitini. Side Note: A few times I have walked in and gotten hit with this weird odor, similar to sitting trash. It has even caused me to turn right back around on a few occasions, regardless of the grade A(91) health score that they have received. I must say, while I have never gotten sick from eating the food here, this is what has caused me to rate them 4⁄5 instead of the 5 stars I would like to give them.

This place was awesome! The food was delicious. I had the Pineapple Fried Rice with the mixed vegetables, and the Vegetables Pad Thai. Also got a Thai iced tea, very yummy as well. The inside is pretty cool. Dim lighting, and quiet music. Very chill vibes. It’s hard to find a good Thai restaurant. So I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others.

Came in for a quick lunch. We were seated quickly and the food descended upon us. The Tum Yum Chicken soup was full of chicken. The satay was good. The peanut sauce could have been thicker. Panang Curry was flavorful with lots of vegetables. All around good lunch. Thanks

I’ve come here for the«Dollar Sushi,» which is offered Monday and Tuesday nights from 5PM — 9PM. However, I think last night will be my last visit. Nothing wrong with the service, but I’m not too keen on the sushi. The rice, to me, was too strongly seasoned with vinegar, and instead of the rice grains being light and fluffy, they were packed together and a bit soggy, almost congealed. I think I only spent $ 8.50 for 16 pieces of sushi, so the price is very affordable, but I felt like I was forcing myself to eat the last few pieces. I wish ATL had a good sushi happy hour or AYCE sushi, but I have yet to find one.

It appears to be a hole in the wall okay it is but the sushi was deliciously fresh. The service was nice and funny but i don’t drink water when i go out to often because it doesn’t taste good but the water was fantastic 2 glasses down. Seriously the seaweed salad and miso soup sealed the deal with me.

Must check out! This spot is very unique in its layout as well as its food selection. When you walk-in, it feels like you’re going into another country. This location even sports a nice bar that brings back memories from the club scene. Also, the people here are very nice I highly recommend Thai 5!

Thai food is almost always my number one choice is someone asks me what I am in the mood for. And Thai 5 is in my top 3 most suggested Thai spots in my area. Not only are they right next to my apartment, which is so convenient, but they actually have pretty stellar food. A friend of mine always says they have the best Pad Thai in Atlanta. I don’t often order Pad Thai, so I can’t attest to this, but I have had here, and I can tell you that it’s pretty delicious. So, I’ll start with the atmosphere: from the street, this place looks a bit small. In fact, if you didn’t know what you were looking for, you might even miss it. But once you go through the door, you are transported to another place. Maybe not thailand, per se, but you certainly don’t feel like you are still in little 5. The hallway opens up to the larger-than-you-think dinging room. I was told by a friend that the place used to be a Mexican restaurant. I don’t know this for a fact, but now that the idea has been planted, I can totally see that. I’ve only actually eaten on-site a couple of times. I find that I typically get it to go or delivered since I live so close. It’s one of those things where you feel like if your apt is only a stone’s throw away, why not just eat in your own living room? You know? Anyway, now on to the food. Oh the glorious, spicy, flavorful food. I pretty much ALWAYS get the panang curry. I mean, it’s just so darn good and my pal Mandy always gets the pad thai(as I mentioned before, it is her favorite after all.) I have noticed that the takeout and delivery portions almost seem larger than the eat-in portions, but it could be an illusion since it’s served in a container versus begin in a bowl. Either way, I always get two meals out of it. I have also enjoyed their $ 1 sushi menu. basically, there are a few pieces you can get for $ 1, a few you can get for $ 2, $ 3 and so on. They even have $ 3 fried rice that is pretty delicious. It’s a good deal, and I was completely happy with the options I selected. I look forward to ordering from that menu again soon. Pro-tip: Leftovers are spicier the next day. Also, ask about specials. They often give free appetizers or a california roll for orders over a certain amount. It changes often, so ask.
