Service is quick and the environment is enjoyable. Great place to come after a game or concert! The wait staff was great even though it was a holiday.

The worst Taco Mac in history of Taco Macs, and I’ve been to many. The only reason this place stays open is the location. On multiple occasions– not once, not twice, we’ve been told that we couldn’t sit down because THEY were understaffed on a weekend night and we’d have to wait 1hr. or more. Another time, my group of 12 was given a ‘first-day-on-the-job’ server who seemed to get frustrated when we’d ask him for more than one thing at a time. He even argued with my friend about what she ordered. It was very unprofessional. I love Taco Mac, especially the one that’s closer to me but NOT this by Philips/The Dome. This one gives the rest of them a bad name. Go to the one off Peachtree in Midtown instead. 0⁄5 stars if I could.

The service is mediocre. The food and drinks came out wrong. We ordered Honey Chipotle chicken wings and was served hot Buffalo style. When we told our sever it was the wrong flavor, he said that it was right. He said that’s how they make that sauce. I go to other Taco Macs all the time… I know the difference between Buffalo and Honey Chipotle. I will never go back to that location. Stick Dantanas when you’re in the area.

They literally cut up 1 chicken tender and divided it out for the 3 tacos I ordered. I asked for additional tenders(even offered to pay for it) and was told that they don’t do that and I would have to buy an additional taco if I wanted more chicken. Even the waitress agreed that I would have gotten more chicken on a salad. I also asked to speak to the manager and was told he wasn’t in the restaurant at the time. I like the restaurant but I definitely won’t be coming back to this location.

Went here twice in a week. It’s two different experiences. First experience was subpar. Received a beer with a gnat on top. That can happen, but… Server immediately brought another beer and a larger glass to accommodate. Very nice. Had some tacos and wings. Tacos were ok. Wings were really good. Service was slow. Seating was also not terribly organized and kind of rude. Experience two was better. Took clients for lunch. Food was quick, good and tasty. Server was prompt and courteous. The only odd side is the bowl the salads came in had dressing and salad on the outside of the bowl from were it was tossed and transferred. I thought it was just mine but then I saw my customers bowl being placed down like that as well. That’s just not ok, let alone when people are suited up. This needs to be cleaned up. Will probably try other places before ever going back.

Terrible service. For a location that is centrally located near Philips Arena, the GWCC, CNN Center and the GA Dome, the staff does not handle the crowds well at all. No urgency. No awareness of the wait. We watched for 35 minutes as 3 full tables sat empty and dirty while the bus staff stood and chatted. We overheard people leaving that they waited over an hour for their meals. Very, very poorly managed location.

Went there for lunch today. Sat at my table for 15 minutes, no server ever came to the table. All the servers seemed busy doing their own thing and avoiding customers. The manager seemed just as unaware. Very mind boggling — a restaurant lacking in customer service.

The first time I online ordered here and then picked it up– found out after I left that the add ons I paid extra for were not on and the things I asked not to be on it(the online form makes this really easy), were on it still. But to be fair, my order was ready to go. Food was meh. Went a 2nd time and I arrived on time and they couldn’t find my order. I had to wait for a bit. Then I was asked to wait a 2nd time and it was finally brought to me. Aa for the food– the fries were good but the wing sauce grilled tenders Mild sauce was so thin that there was hardly any flavor on the tenders– despite them swimming in it. What another let down… Don’t waste your time. They don’t care and now I don’t.

I walked over to Taco Mac while on break at the GWCC. I went early– about 11am. It was empty at that time, but all the waitresses were getting ready for lunch service and were very nice. I was shown a table in the back as I requested to be «out of the way». Menu is very limited, but I did opt for the steak tacos which I thought were pretty good. The only other thing you get with it was a small cup of Mexican corn. Tasty, but not much food. I would eat there again but would probably try something different. The steak fajita tacos were tough but the flavor was OK.

The food was good– spicy, but good. But the service was horrendous. The beer selection was not worth the craptastic service.

Taco Mac has to been one of the worst places I have ever been to. I had to check it out since everyone raves about it. The service was so bad and slow I don’t even have the words to express how bad it was. The food was average at best and I am being nice. Thier so called death sauce on thier wings was laughable I have had store bought hot sauce that had more heat. Taco Mac is just a step higher than Taco Bell. And I have had better food at Taco Bell.

I can honestly say that I experienced one of the worst customer service experience in a long time. The server never introduced herself. When she brought our drinks she never spoke to us. After she took our order we never saw her again. She never offered us additional drinks or even checked us. She brought our food and literally never came back. We didn’t receive the customary is everything ok, how’s your food, more drinks. Once we finished our food she started taking our plates saying she’d be right back with check. We were there for a birthday lunch and was going to order dessert but we decided not to bother. What sealed the deal was when a person in our party spilled her glass of water on the table. Our server was directly behind us. I know this because I looked back to find napkins, she was clearing the table next to us and never even said anything to us. For the first time I left under a 10 percent tip. I did write on the ticket that the service was awful because I didn’t want her to think that I did not know the correct percentage. Will never go back.

You would think this would be one of the best Taco Mac’s in the chain. It fields all the fans from the Georgia Dome and Philips Arena. However, the service has been terrible every time we’ve been here(and we’ve been here a half-dozen times in the last year or so). The front staff seats you right away(if there’s no long wait) an then you could sit around for 15 minutes before someone takes a drink order. The food here is average and a step down from the rest, too, which boggles me considering it’s a chain and should be at par across the board.

Just because you are situated in a distance measured in feet or blocks to a large number of major hotels doesn’t mean you can coast on the three biggest words in real estate; location, location, location. But that’s what this place does. Not only is the staff a bit too laid back and relaxed, the food here is awful. I ordered the boneless chicken wings and they were more like turds. They were little balls of chicken and were so over fried you could not cut them with a fork. I ordered 3 Mile Island hot sauce flavor and that was more like medium. AND I ordered a side of DEATH and that wasn’t even hot! I mean, I didn’t even break a sweat from it so it couldn’t be hot. I should have sent my order back to the kitchen but it was late and I didn’t want to wait longer. This place needs to overhaul its kitchen. Be prepared to be disappointed if you visit it.

This has become another of my frequent lunch break with co-workers spots. There are several menu items that I enjoy, and especially like the fact that they have«healthy heart» options. I get to try out a new coca-cola beverage every time, because of their fancy drink menu. Their deserts are always good, and the servers are pretty friendly. I’m guessing that service can be affected by time of day, given it’s location and how many events occur in the area. But if you ever go for lunch, I’m sure you’ll find that it was a pretty worthwhile trip. I give it 3 stars mostly because, while the food is consistently edible and even tasty, it’s just regular American food; nothing special or amazing. They don’t go out of their way to be spectacular. It’s a step like up from bar food, in my opinion. They simply offer something for everyone, at a reasonable price, and with pretty reliable expectations.

A fun sports bar near the Georgia Dome and Phillips Arena. I had a burger and was not disappointed. The salsa and chips are well worth the inexpensive price. The salsa has a good kick to it. This is a fun place to watch a game.

This Taco Mac seems to have terrible, terrible reviews… Presumably because their servers get overwhelmed with customers whenever Philips is having an event. But I ended up going on a random Thursday night, around midnight or so. We had just been at the Stats bar down the street, and weren’t quite ready to go home yet. So yes, considering that we were essentially the only people in there, the service was fine, and everything worked out correctly. We had our beers(Taco Mac has about 28394398 of them), and also ordered a queso, which is standard Taco Mac fare — cheesy, hot, and delicious(tastes the best with the tortillas!). Nothing really to write home about — standard service, standard food, good beer selection. But it’s Taco Mac — you get what you pay for, and it’s decent for what it is.

The only thing this Taco Mac has going for it is that it’s located inside Philips Arena. This makes it very convenient if you want to grab drinks or a bite to eat before or after a sporting event at Philips or the Georgia Dome or if you’re attending an event at the Georgia World Congress Center. I’ve been to a live broadcast of the Hawks postgame show here and that part was fun. The Hawks dancers also showed up. As expected, the menu is comparable to the other locations(good beer selection), but that’s where the similarities end. The quality of the food is a step below the already average quality of this chain and service is terrible. It took over half an hour for our orders to come out from the kitchen(the restaurant was not busy) and our server acted like he couldn’t care less about our table the entire night. Also, someone had vomited on the floor(inside and out) of the men’s bathroom and none of the staff wanted to clean it up. As you can imagine, that created a really nice aroma for the restaurant.

this is one of the more disappointing Taco Macs. The only time i’ve ever had decent service is when it’s COMPLETELY empty, otherwise get ready to wait a LONG time for your drinks and food. Other complaints(and i do not hold places like taco mac to a really high standard, trust me) — There is a VERY odd smell in there. The vibe is more gothic batcave than sportsbar. On «keep the pint glass» night, a friend and I were brought our free glasses after paying our bill. We left with them, only to have the manager come screaming and yelling at us about stealing glasses. You’d think the manager would be aware of their weekly promotion? On more than one occasion, the bartender has asked us for our order, only to immediately take our drinks to the stand for the waitstaff to take to tables, literally within 30 seconds of us ordering the drinks. They have beers going to the wrong tap all of the time, we often encounter beer that is definitely not right even when we see them pour it. I work nearby and would have loved to at least like this place, but it’s really not good at all, in almost every respect.
