When this location gets busy, it gets busssy, but the staff is always so pleasant. Starbucks providing their order ahead app is your saving grace at this spot. They are constantly cleaning and maintaining the store. The drinks are tasty and the environment is warm. Downfall: the customers aren’t always as friendly as the staff.

My initial encounter at this place is the cashier isn’t very friendly. Most Starbucks workers are. They only have 3 people working and we have a long of 10 people stretching out the door. I was expecting a smile when approaching the counter to order but I didn’t get any. I guess the cashier had a rough morning. The place is small and cozy inside. Very limited seating indoor but outdoor you can find plenty of seats. It’s too cold to be outside but I got my hot chocolate so I’m golden.

Staff and service here are consistently horrible. Location is the only thing that keeps me coming here during the week.

Located between the Regal Perimeter Pointe and Tropical Smoothie Café, it’s a perfect spot to hang out before a movie. Seating is plentiful and the seating area is spacious and open. All the baristas seemed tired on a lazy Thursday afternoon. I was, too, which is why I stopped in for a late afternoon caffeine buzz. I asked for my usual free drink redemption order, a nonfat venti caramel macchiato, and added an extra shot of espresso just for the heck of it. It was super sweet and syrupy(from the caramel) but did its job with the java jolt. It’s not the most impressive Starbucks location I’ve been to, but it’s still a staple shop in a solid area.

I have just finished my Caramel Macchiato with extra caramel and it was just the way I like it!!! I’ve been to quite a few locations within the metro area and this one knows how I like it! I will need to get the barrister’s name.

Visiting from out of town. Came by for a coffee at 10:30pm they’re supposedly closed at 11pm. Doors were closed and staff hanging out inside. Kind of a sad testament to Starbucks. I would say bad customer service based on that experience. Night of 2÷3÷15 if anyone cares…

Looking at a lot of the reviews posted here it seems many people have had issues with service at this location; however, I have to say I think things must have changed. I have been going here occasionally over the last ten months to get my standard chai tea latte(that is when I don’t buy the mix at Publix and make it at home), and I have always had amazing service. Everyone is kind and wishes me a great rest of my day, and they are quick to make my drink. Typically I get annoyed having to walk in, but here it is quick enough I do not feel that way. Definitely a good Starbucks in my book!

These guys are amazing! I have never had to send anything back, they are extremely friendly and customer focused. Always have a smile on their face & laughing. I met my spouse here & when we came back on our 1 year anniversary, the staff gave us complimentary drinks! So nice & we have made this a yearly tradition. Highly recommend!

I stop in this Starbucks every morning when I’m in town. The staff is fast, friendly & accurate. I never have any issues and sometimes stop in twice a day as its on my trek to and from work. The only thing that can make this and ALL Starbucks better is the temperature could be a bit warmer. But I have the same problem with almost all locations across the nation.

This Starbucks is amazing. Love the staff, I’m a regular and when you can have your drink waiting on you it’s amazing. Say hello to Frank, Helen, Daniel, Sam, or Michele when you are there they will def take care of you. Also, want to lighten up that white mocha. Nonfat, subtract a pump of syrup and ask for risstretto shots. Shorter and sweeter thank your standard espresso shot.

Great parking, decent seating. Difficult to find but it’s close to the regal 10, Atlanta bread company and Wendy’s. Service was pretty slow… Maybe a new server.

This Starbucks could use a dose of friendly in their staff — they are pretty happy most of the time, but I get the occasional barista who acts like he wants to be anywhere BUT there. This happened today — and I almost asked the guy what was wedged up his rear end after the gal who took my order was so nice. I thought better of it. What I do like about this locale, is that when I go to a movie and am pretty early, I can grab a Caramel Macchiato and sit either inside or out(tons of outside seating) and kill some time while I enjoy my drink. The management needs to work on the morale in this place to make sure that the staff checks their baggage at the door each day and it doesn’t bleed onto the customers. They do make a great drink and have never messed mine up. Just work on your demeanor and you might get another star.

I have beef with this Starbucks. I’m going to generalize. Dunwoody is full of all kinds of lazy assholes who drive absolutely everywhere. Nobody walks here. The roads are packed and the sidewalks are empty. Knowing this, why in god’s name does this Starbucks not have a drive-through? If you come here in the morning you have to park your car and walk into the building, or sometimes wait outside because the line is out the door. The people in line are usually sweaty, which I can only assume is from walking twenty yards to wait in line. The service is slower than other stores, but not so much that I don’t come back. It’s a necessary evil in a particularly evil place.

Good coffee(hey, it’s a Starbucks), but terrible WiFi connection. Good to sit outside to catch some sun — but dont expect any WiFi reception there. Very friendly staff.

One thing I love about the Starbucks brand is you can always expect the same experience no matter which one you go to. They are always focused on customer service and making you feel welcome. This is my favorite location, because they tend to take it one step beyond… they actually make a point to know your name, memorize your face, and know what you like to order. That’s always a plus if your like me and a big grouch first thing in the morning which is when I usually drop in for coffee or tea.

Very slow service and the staff seemed confused by a standard order. Also at every other starbucks you place your drink order at the cashier then go wait for your drink — here the cashier made everyone stand there and wait to give their order until the person in front of them had their drink in hand.

I’m all about supporting the local coffee shops, especially those that use specialty roasters like Counter Culture Coffee and Intelligentsia Coffee, but they’re hard to find around the Perimeter area. Often for convenience alone, my fallback is Starbucks. This Starbucks is among a few in the area and is definitely the most convenient one. The other ones are: inside Perimeter mall, inside the SuperTarget down the street and up in Dunwoody Village(though that one is kind of out of the way). Rumor has it they’re building a freestanding one on Ashford Dunwoody(near Ravinia), so that might be a nice addition to the area. Menu and drinks here are exactly what you would expect from Starbucks. It’s usually black coffee for me, but every so often, a sporadic caramel macchiato. No complaints about anything I’ve ordered here. I’ve been here in the mornings, afternoons and nights and the staff is always friendly. Another plus about this location is its hours. It’s open until at least 11pm every night(11:30pm on weekends), probably a result of being located right next to the movie theater. I imagine the theater thing is a bit of a catch-22 with crowds convening on the Starbucks before and after movies. I generally try to avoid this shop on weekend nights for this reason alone. Maybe it’s not as bad as I think though… I’ll update the review if I get a chance to see for myself. The other nice thing here is parking. Even though it shares a parking lot with the theater, a yogurt shop and a small pub, parking is always is easy to find and I can usually get a spot pretty close to the front door. Standard Starbucks fare, convenient location(although no drive thru), friendly staff and good hours make this a decent coffee shop for the area.

Had the worst experience at this Starbucks tonight, so much so I don’t think I will ever visit one ever again! We were out celebrating our Indian festival Diwali and decided to end the night with a round of coffee at this establishment. Since different Starbucks close at different times we didn’t realize this one stayed open until 11.30pm. This employee called«Blake» decides to literally shoo us out of the shop by yelling and pointing to the door! So badly did this man behave my 4.5yr old started crying because this fool threatened and then called the cops on us. I will say Edith the other employee kept apologizing for Blake’s behavior and we told him we will not leave the store unless we get the name of the district manager and higher. He then proceeded to talk very rudely with my husband and tell us we were setting a bad example to our kids by standing up for ourselves! I mean talk about lack of customer service and total harassment. The cops were so frustrated when they arrived for something this trivial. Needless to say my husband will be following up with upper management. I will never visit starbucks period.

Always friendly, especially the afternoon guy that follows up with«no, you have a wonderful day». He is very upbeat, consistent approach and delivery of Starbuck product, and close to work. Not exactly easy to run in and out of, with proximity to the grazing area(food court). May not have wi-fi, but having 3GS, and going for the coffee products, the core products, a four star in my book.
