Standard Food Mart

I have been here two times. The first time, I was on the way to the farmer’s market and needed to get some cash from an ATM. Google maps told me they had the nearest one, so I walked in and when I didn’t see one I politely asked the attendant if they had one. She did not speak, just pointed. I got my money and left.
Although it was a bad experience, I gave them a second chance because they are in an extremely convenient location to me. I went in and bought a drink. It cost $ 2.49 so I set down 2 ones and 2 quarters. I even apologized as I dug for change because I felt I was taking a long time. After I laid my money on the counter, I picked up my drink to go and the clerk says, «Just like that?» I didn’t know what he was talking about so I asked him and he responded «You can’t unwrinkle your bills?» I was like, «Uh, I guess I can.?“At this point, I felt really disrespected as a paying customer. Especially since I had not been rude intentionally. Although, I guess he took my crumpled bills as a sign of disregard for him or something. He responded, «Well, do it then» while staring at me.
This is long but it ended with me just straightening up the bills and leaving. I will not be returning here. This place will always do fine because of it’s convenient location, but I, personally, will not be back. If you have another option in the area, I would suggest you try that first to avoid disrespect.

I live squarely between two Chevrons but I always choose this one because the other one is perceptibly Southern. And by perceptibly Southern, I mean fucking slow. It takes 30 minutes to fill up my tank, with each slow painful trickle registering a loud click that drives me bonkers.
So this is my Chevron of choice.
It’s not cheap, but nothing is in this neighborhood.
Aside from purchasing losing lottery tickets and ice cream sandwiches, I also cop Mexican Coke and Mexican Fanta here. You won’t find them in the regular refrigerators, though. :speaks in hushed tone: They’re in the cooler by the ATM.

Best in the Highlands… Not the cheapest in Atlanta.

Agreed with D.R.: This place has mucho gas all the time, so if your running on fumes, then I would suggest this place. I usually fuel up at CostCo, but to avoid the drive Ive been heading to this Chevron.
The people are Lovely, the lines move quick… only downfall is the mondo dinero they are charging.

This is a gas station you can be proud of.
Why?
Because it prevented my car from running out of gas.
Timing is everything.
And in Atlanta: there will never be cop when you need one; but there always will be a gas station.
