SML – Simple Moving Labor

Excellent service! No complaints. Would definitely consider using them again in the next move.

Dealing with SML did make my move easier. They say that moving is very stressful (and it is) but SML made it a bit easier and manageable. I was moving from Fayetteville GA to Seattle WA and that was a long trip. The movers from SML (I picked the package were I had help at both location). I was offered 2 2 men crew (1 professional and 1 day labor). The representative was helpful in helping me out. He suggested that I get the professional crew to pack the truck and the day labor to unpack. That’s what I did. The professional group brought their own tools and packed up my truck very well. I had no damage when I got to Seattle. My home was already packed up and the professional group did a quick survey and they went to work. They had me pack and secured well within the 3 hour allotted time frame. Again, a wonderful job by the professional group.
During my trip to Seattle, I did run into a little delay. I had scheduled a time for 10 am for the day labor group to come, but I realized I would be able to make that time. I called up to the 800 customer service number that they provided me with and I informed them of my situation. The woman on the other end was very nice and she stated that they will work with me to get the time changed. I told her my new estimated time and she stated that she will get it adjusted in the system. She stated that she will call me back to ket me know when it was changed. True to her word, she called to let me know of the new time change.
When I got to my new location in Seattle, the day labor group came a bit early. But that was not a problem because I got to the condo ahead of schedule and I was glad that there were there. The move in went great, no problem. I had to be more hands on with these guys and I also had to help move the items off the truck
Now, of course, it was not all a bed of roses. For the Move out I did feel pressured by the professional guys to leave a tip. He stated several times that «A tip is not necessary but if you leave a tip to place it in the clipboard case». He must have stated that line about 5 times, and on one occasion he opened up the clip board case and showed me where it went. They did such a hard job (and it was hot) I went ahead and gave each guy a tip. Normally, I would not have but I did not want to penalize the guy for just being uncouth.
The day laborers had to be managed but nothing really bad.
All in all if I had to do it over again, I would go with SML and I would recommend this service to anybody who is looking for help to move.
