On arrival at Silva and Thomas I was very pleased with the style of the salon and all the staff who greeted me were very friendly.
I have long hair that was really in need of some tlc and hadn’t been cut for over 5 months. Erin Jones took the challenge on graciously and after an initial consultation advised me that due to my damaged ends I should cut 4 inches off. I took her advice and I was really happy with the end result. The girl who washed my hair was a little rough but I think this was partly due to how knotty my hair was. I think the cost of the cut $ 60 plus tip was expensive but I feel it was worth it for an end result I am happy with. I will be going back in eight weeks to prevent my hair getting into a similar state again.
Silva and Jones also offer other services. I had my eye brows waxed and the end result was ok. I feel sweet peach in virginia highlands does a far superior job for the same money so this 5 star review is purely for their hair styling services.

Debi Towns has been styling my and my mom’s hair for years. She’s fantastic, but hard to get a last minute appointment with because she’s so good. This time, I was desperate for an appointment and couldn’t get in with Debi. So, I saw her protégé’, Erin Jones, and my hair looks amazing! She took time with me to find out what I wanted, and she worked on all my difficult hair areas (bangs that are really heavy and need a lot of texturing) until they looked fabulous :) I could not be happier! Call Erin!
