My mom told me about this salon during my visit home to Atlanta and I’m so glad she did. I had been transitioning to natural hair and was ready for a big chop.
Mom called me in for a last minute appointment with Barry who was able to squeeze me in early in the morning on a Friday. After a thorough wash and a deep conditioning steam treatment, Barry got to work on a meticulous cut using hand scissors, time and an eye for detail.
He then re-​washed, conditioned and set my curls — literally changing my life with this new cut. I LOVED the experience in this cute space and felt right at home with the friendly staff. I was also frankly shocked at how little Barry charged for the cut considering the attention to detail and deep conditioning and care that he used with my hair.
The only thing I regretted about going to this salon is that I won’t be able to regularly come back when I head back home to Texas.
