Great place — very efficient, so I’m in and out without a hassle, shampooed and ready to go — no hairs everywhere. The staff are nice and my stylist does a fantastic cut for me.

That is my regular salon, however I was given a hair service discount coupon when I went to get a spray tan from Salon 11 Studios and decided to try out the hair services they provided and see if I liked it. I also received another coupon in the mail from Salon 11, so I was excited to possibly save some more $$$ by using the two discounts when I went. Overall the hair service was okay. I got a cut and highlights. I think the girl that did my hair was Amanda?-She was very friendly. The style and color was not bad, no complaints with that.
The problem was when I checked out. The total was around $ 250 (more than double the price at Aura Hair !), and I didn’t find that they did a better job than Aura, and definitely not over $ 100 more for the service. Aura does a complementary hand massage and beverage-​So Salon 11 is totally NOT worth the price. Now when they told me the total I wasn’t too concerned because I had those two coupons. However, when I gave the coupons to the two women who checked me out they told me that I could only use one.
Now first let me say that NEITHER one of these coupons said «One coupon valid per customer» NOR did they say «Cannot be combined with any other offer”-which any other business establishment that had a one coupon per transaction policy, would have put on their coupons. I was very disappointed because normally in this situation I would just save one of the coupons for the next visit, however BOTH of these coupons stated «For new clients only». I was pretty upset so I told the ladies. «Well your coupons do not state on them that only one coupon can be used at a time, and it wouldn’t be such a problem but I can’t use the other on my next visit.» They stated that they were sorry but that was their policy. They also called the manager and told me that she also stated to them that unfortunately this was their policy, and that was that.
Now I would like to know WHERE this policy is written so that other customers know about it and know what other policies there are before doing business with them. If they do not list them on the coupon OR their website then how are we as the consumer supposed to know?
The bottom line is that if you are a professional establishment that has a policy and do not state it in writing anywhere for customers to know about it, can you really expect us to NOT be upset when we are unaware of such a policy?
This rating was based on the fact that I went specifically to Salon11, and not my regular salon, Aura, solely because of the coupons I received and expected to use at time of service. To be held to an unwritten policy that I was unaware of, and be charged double for LESS service, are the reasons I will not be returning to Salon 11 and why I will not be recommending any one to go to Salon 11. Which is a shame because I live in the Perimeter area, and Salon 11 is closer than Aura to my house. If I had a better experience and the price was more reasonable for the service rendered, I may have switched to Salon 11 due to the closer proximity to my house, but I would much rather stick with what I know and continue to go to Aura Hair Salon. Why should I waste my time and money paying more for such a headache and mediocre service?
***Note to Salon 11 Manager: This could have been prevented with seven words: «Cannot be combined with any other offer.» I suggest you put it in writing if you want to have people want to take your business seriously and your policy to be considered legit.

For me, Great Clips just doesn’t cut it… get it? LOL Anyway, I’ve been going here for over 3 years and can honestly say that I am extremely satisfied with everything. Stephanie is great, very customer service oriented and now I can call her a «friend.» The atmosphere is inviting and it seems like the Boutique does well even though I haven’t purchased anything in there yet.
I like this place enough to take my two daughters here and they are always satisfied.
For me, I am a sales guy and very customer service oriented. You can call me High Maintenance when it comes to customer service so the only chink here would be that the owner doesn’t go out of her way to engage with other clients outside of her own. I would like to see more from her and management but that doesn’t deter me from leaving the salon. If Stephanie left, I’d go back to Van Michael for sure.
Overall, 4 stars and I can call it my salon for now, right?

If I could get this place zero stars I would. Needless to say I have been a loyal customer here for over two years. The ladies a do my here are very sweet however some of the other employees at this salon have very anti-​kid attitude’s won’t and smile or say hello back to my child if she waves to them. I happen to bring my three-​year-​old daughter to this line with me to get my hair blown out. She started getting sick and something must’ve happened where she had a bad accident even though she’s potty trained. I took her straight to the bathroom to change her out of her clothes. I cleaned the toilet, threw her soiled underwear in garbage covered with paper towels and sprayed Lysol. I even went back to double check the bathroom to make sure I cleaned as best I could. Later on that day I got a email from the salon manager asking me to never come back again because I left your soiled underwear in the garbage. The treatment of people with babies or small children is more than discriminatory and disgusting.

I am that girl that will not-​WILL NOT– change hairstylists. I like my strands to be consistently fabulous.
Problem: original hairdresser at other salon (whom I drive over an hour one way for) had no availability. From now until… forever. I was about to get frumpy.
Enter Salon 11. Yay! Yes!
I swallowed my fears and called. They had a same day appointment. (I know what your thinking– it must be bc they were bad.) I was running out of time! Decisions had to be made.
Walk in and boom.
Appointment was great! I love my stylist! He listened to what I wanted, suggested some changes and took his time. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured or worried.
My hair is back to being fabulous. I sneak quick glances at it. Love the color. Love the cut. Will be back. New client/​new stylist.
Added bonus??? They use Moroccan Oil products which are the BEST.

I’ve been going to Salon 11 for a few years now and I simply adore my hair stylist, Dylan. I find the salon to be warm and inviting and the boutique attached is a great way to kill some time while waiting for your appointment. I’ve only ever seen Dylan and, while young, is incredibly knowledgable, insightful and talented. She knows the products well and is helpful with recommending what to use and alternative options. I find all the ladies who work here to be quite friendly and very talented.
My only complaint, is that appointments never run on time– There have been times I’ve waited for over 30 mins! When checking in, I feel they should make you aware things are running behind so that you don’t feel ignored or forgotten.
All in all, Salon 11 is really a fantastic gem and I highly recommend it.

I got a body scrub and then a spray tan at Salon 11 for my wedding last week. I called around to a couple places because I’m not living in Atlanta at the moment and was nervous about trying a new spray tan place. The women on the phone was super friendly, gave me all the info I wanted, and even told me about the online Groupon — which saved me so much money! Everyone there was so professional and so kind. The facilities were clean. And the spray tan turned out GREAT! I’m so happy I found Salon 11!

Love it! It has been a few years since I was at salon 11 and was so happy to be back! I had Dylan and she was perfect. I had streaking blonde highlights and I showed a few pictures from Pinterest of what I wanted and she took it from there! It was a perfect blend and I love it and get compliments all of the time! She’s great and it will be my place as long as she’s there!

I have found my new salon! I recently moved from Plano Texas (home of big blonde hair) to Roswell Georgia, and was concerned about finding a well-​versed stylist in a nice, but not too over the top salon.
I found it at Salon 11 with Ariel.
The salon is super clean and stylish. There’s a boutique in the front, and then the salon. It’s very open with lots of windows and nicely decorated. But the main thing I noticed was that every stylist had terrific hair. That’s important, don’t you think?
Ariel took the time to consult with me about my hair, asking crucial questions about my hair history, my styling ability, and my future plans for my hair. She had terrific advice, and I loved her ideas. She is an artist! I love how my hair turned out. Not too sassy, not to «mom», not too «big hair». JUST. Right.
I am looking forward to visiting the Ariel at Salon 11 for as long as I live here, which I hope will be a very long time! Just remember: Bring cash for the tip! There is an ATM, but it charges a fee and they only accept cash tips.

I started going here when it very first opened up back then it WAS one of the best salons in Atlanta. The service and professionalism of this place has just gotten worse over the years. Im surprised that they’re still in business. The girls that work here are absolute snobs! I went and had my hair colored about a month ago and its blotchy all over and the roots that were being touched up do not match the rest of my hair! I mean cmon guys! I could have done a better job myself with box color! This place opened up to give an alternative to DASS but im thinking fantastic Sams is better! They have definitely moved from quality to quantity!

I’ve been going to Adam at Salon 11 now for about 3 years. He is the most excellent stylist and so friendly and fun to talk to. And I love my hair every time leave. I also see Miriam for my waxing and she does a great job for eyebrows. Everyone that works at this Salon is so friendly and helpful, especially all the girls at the front desk. I love the boutique as well, so you can shop before or after your appointment. This place is the best salon in Atlanta in my opinion. I’ve tried other places before I discovered this salon, and will not go anywhere else. Thanks Salon 11!

My entire family and I have been going to Salon 11 since the day they opened their doors! In fact, we followed Ser Khan, Kelly and Jen over from the salon they previously worked at before opening Salon 11. I have recommended the salon to friends, coworkers and anyone who is looking for the best hair experience imaginable. I have lived in Charleston, NYC and DC and have tried to find a salon as good as Salon 11 and have failed every time. I have been to some of the top rated salons in the country and found that none of them even compared to Salon 11. I currently live in DC and fly back once a month to have Jen Freeman highlight and cut my hair because there is no one better. Not only are the stylists the best at what they do but they make you feel welcome and like you are a part of the family every time you walk in the door. Salon 11 is as good as it gets and no matter how far away I move from Atlanta I will continue to be a loyal costumer!

Good hair cut… A Lil expensive but worth the money… I was impressed with Adams work. He is so sweet and kind. He was help full in introducing products for me. Good experience.

I made an appointment at Salon 11 Studios on a whim and haven’t looked back! Jessica has cut and highlighted my hair since my very first appointment two years ago, and I’ve never been disappointed with her work. In fact — I have yet to be disappointed with anyone’s work, from the esthetician to the ladies at the front desk. I always feel welcome when I walk in the door, and every time I see Jessica it feels like I’m chatting with an old friend. And you’ve got to love a stylist who is honest and will tell you what will and will not work with your hair — even if your heart is set on a specific style. Looking forward to my next appointment!

Good experience. Overall, I’d say it’s a bit overpriced. My cut and color was good, but maybe not over-​the-​top for the money.

I went here because it got great reviews and I had heard good things. When a groupon came out for it I took it as a sign to finally check it out. MISTAKE! I got a facial and a hair cut. The woman who did my facial was fabulous and I enjoyed it, I would only come back for that service she was very professional and did an awesome job! As for the young lady who cut my hair butchered it. She only had me in the chair for 10 minutes and chopped off all my hair significantly shorter than I had asked. I have curly hair so I get that it’s difficult to cut but I would have preferred her take a conservative approach… Or at least spend more than 10 minutes on my hair — a cut that usually takes a professional at least an hour!!! This was my first cut in a long time and I wished I had gone without. Totally unprofessional. I understand I used a groupon and received a discount but does that mean I deserve awful hair and poor service. I felt like they just did not care. Not a feeling you should have at a professional hair salon! They didn’t even bother to ask how the cut went. The woman that did my facial did in passing but no one else — not even my stylist! I will not be back.

I have really thick hair and it’s important to me to find someone to thin it out. SInce I’ve moved to Atlanta, every stylist i’ve gone to has just skipped this step. I found Salon 11 on Unilocal and went on my lunch hour. Stephanie was my stylist… and I’ve never been happier! She understood exactly what I wanted and I left feeling like I was stepping out of a hair commercial. The best part was it was less expensive than any other salon I’ve been to here… but I really thought I’d leave there paying double what I paid since it was so nice and she did such a great job. Definitely would recommend Salon 11 (especially Stephanie!) to ANYONE.

I have been going to Ariel at Salon 11 Studios for 4 years now and she is awesome. My mom, aunt, co-​worker and friend see her as well. Ariel has gorgeous hair so I trust her with my hair. She is so sweet and friendly, I recommend her to everyone. She listens to what you want done with your hair and is great at color and cut.
