Dr. Boyd has been my family dentist since i came to Atlanta 11 years ago. He’s done wonders for my teeth! Dr. Boyd initially worked to fix fillings previous dentists had done with old technology. I had to have a crown 8 or 9 years ago, which was a bit scary at the time. Since then, the number of filling repairs i’ve had to do in 7 years, has drastically decreased. (Maybe i’ve had 1; that’s it!)
Dr. Boyd helped me take better care of my teeth. His hygienists and assistants are excellent. So is his front office staff. He offers a good system for whitening teeth. His billing is reasonable and cheaper than in-​town dentists. I think he is a trustworthy dentist. He also keeps up with research and new methods. This is why after 11 years, i still drive up to his office for appointments. Plan ahead. His services are in demand…

My favorite dentist so far in Atlanta area. In Atlanta, I had two dentists before I found Dr. Boyd. I don’t regret switching to a new dentist. He was recommend by my Endodontists. His staff is very friendly and thoughtful. I had one crown and three fillings done by Dr Boyd in the fast two months. He always explains everything clearly. During the procedure, he always makes sure that I am OK with what is going on so there is no surprise. I have very low pain tolerance so he is very careful with me. His assistants are very nice too. Sometimes when I was waiting for my crown fitting or getting my gum numbed, they chat with me so I don’t get nervous. They always have a lot of magazines in the waiting room and by the dental chair. Although, sometimes I need to wait in the office, I would never got bored at all. I highly recommend Dr. Boyd.
The parking space is plenty. Please sure you take the long ramp by the side of the building and enter the front door that faces the main road, not the one facing the parking lot. I enter the back door when I got there for the first time. I surprised the front desk staff.

I have been going to Dr. Boyd since the Mid 90’s. He is a no nonsense kind of Dentist. Reasonable prices and they have early morning appointments the 7am kind that allow you to get into work by 8pm.
For a stint I was on high deductible health insurance and thus had to pay out of pocket for dental cleanings and they were nice enough to continue to clean my teeth without requiring me to get additional x-​rays which was extremely nice of them.
When you get a cleaning from one of the seasoned hygienist you really getting more then just a cleaning your getting a deep cleaning for no extra in the price.
I tried going to another dentist closer to home in Vinings when I was on a different insurance lets just say there are some bogus folks out there and I quickly came back to Boyd.
