OMG this was terrible!!! I order wings and I got raw wings. I asked if they please can cook little more and the manager came and told me their wings come in precooked. Then, he took the raw wings and I brought back some burnt wings with more hot sauce on top. I taste them and it was real nasty :-(now I’m driving to find something to eat. ZEROSTARS!!!

Typical restaurant chain. Food was A-OK. Servers were so-so. It seemed like they needed some more help because one guy were serving at least six different parties. Portions are a bit small for the price that you pay. If you’re staying in nearby Motel 6 this might be a convenient option for you, however you can walk across the street to Waffle House or even to McDonalds to receive more food for your dollar.

took about 10min for our waitress to order our drinks, another 10min to get them. Then we ordered our apps and meal. Drink was done and was waiting on just our app. aprox 50min came and we got our app. Looked disgusting. Tenders were burnt, cheese fries were soggy, thai rolls were dry, and everything was cold. Asked waitress for check and said we would just go somewhere else, because we were frustrated with the slow service, Screaming kids running around in the aisles, and to receive that awful food was just the last straw. Asked to speak to a manager and we’re kept waiting again. Ended up leaving and going to the diner across the street.

Placed an online order and still had to wait 30 mins past the schedule pickup time to get my order.

Our server was the bartender too! Mark was prompt, friendly & always busy! He kept our drinks re-filled and was stocking the bar. He had 5 tables and a to-go order by himself in the bar area! He did an amazing job! However, the kitchen was very slow in getting our order out… That is why I a giving it 4 star rating instead of 5. Salad bar was fresh & stocked but it was 11:45 am too! Lunch was delicious!

Service is so slow. Took our server 15 minutes for a beer and a gin. Food was quick. I had the chicken parm. It was so cheesy that I had trouble finding the actual chicken. The previous reviews are true. Don’t waste your money here. We came on vacation but come to this area alot. We will not be returning or going to any other ruby Tuesdays again. Please read the previous reviews. They will save you money and you will be able to get a decent service somewhere else!!!

First impression is everything. The first customer contact within a restaurant is usually the hostess whom has the power to make or break a good impression. The food was great, my server was on point but it’s the hostess that left a sour taste. When I first walked in, the hostess was on the phone taking a togo order. She didn’t even smile or give me the I’ll be with you in just a moment nod. Instead, she gave me the scolding expression for talking with my father while we were waiting for a seat. I’ve been a hostess before and since when do hostesses give disapproving looks to customers because they can’t hear on the phone? It was just me and my father in the waiting area and we were not speaking loudly and the restaurant itself was quiet. The hostess was on the phone for a good 15 – 20 minutes before she sat us. I could have sat myself. Her attitude really ruined the experience. I don’t understand why she couldn’t put the customer on hold and sat us quickly. The restaurant was not crowded and there were plenty of clean tables behind her to seat us. Whole process would have taken a whopping 10 seconds.

Everything, and I mean everything, is hit-or-miss here. From the service to food to the appearance, it’s always a toss up as to what you may find. I often work nearby, so I’ve found myself here more than I’d like– and also, I’m not super impressed with my other dining options in the area. Pros for me are the reasonable happy hour, salad bar and the fact that it’s walking distance from most of the hotels I frequent. I’m not in love with the service(spotty at best), the undependable kitchen(I’ve sent many a thing back for temperature issues), and the condition of the interior(often lacking.) Ruby Tuesday Roulette here! Bet wisely.

This review was for Ruby Tuesdays on Virginia Ave right across from McDonalds and Spondivits(near the Airport). I am not sure about the food but the customer service was bad. We waited over 10 minutes before a waitress came to our table. People who were sat after us received beverages from the hostess almost as soon as they sat down. Nothing for our table. When the waitress finally showed up it was very awkward. She covered her face with her hand and started mumbling, I guess she was not feeling well. I felt very uncomfortable. After we ordered our drinks, we got up and left. There are tons of other great places to eat where they are happy to serve us. No need to deal with anything awkward or uncomfortable. I won’t be back.

Salad bar is mediocre and doesn’t have a fantastic array of salad items, but it’ll do. There were 5 in my party. I had salmon, which was really delicious. Also, had the blondie for dessert. I would not recommend it. I had a bite of my co-worker’s meal(steak) and it was really good. However, another co-worker’s steak was tough and full of gristle. She had to send it back. At least they didn’t charge us for it. I have to say our server, Krystl was FANTASTIC. She is what made this dinner better. Her attitude was helpful. She was attentive, friendly, etc.

Long story short: the mcdonalds across the street would’ve been a better choice and this is coming from a life long vegetarian. This is the first time I’ve read mostly bad reviews about a restaurant and went ahead and ate there anyways. It was a bad choice. Upon entering the hostess came up to the podium and without greeting us called over and sat the couple who was waiting. When she came back for us she asked us to wait ten minutes for a table, although the dining area seemed empty to me. I started looking around to see if there were any servers and noticed old dirty worn carpet, sticky tile and smudge marks on the salad bar guard. We were seated at a booth and offered a booster for my one year old. I explained she needed a high chair and was told we’d have to move to a table to use one of those and none were available. I explained there’s no way she was going to stay seated in a booster and the hostess let us have a high chair. A happy waitress came over introducing herself and already apologizing for the wait, letting us know she’s trying her best. She takes our orders, then leaves. I notice the table is sticky. My meal came with a salad bar so I went to help myself. The plates at the bar were dirty, greens wilted, cucumbers turned a funny glossy color bc of being past their prime. I sat down to eat and none of us had utensils to eat with. After a while the food started to arrive, first my dinner order(which was over salted), then my daughter’s side dish, then the cheddar biscuits, then her dinner, then my husbands beer, then my husbands dinner. The beer he originally orderd ended up being unavailable, so he opted for a lesser quality beer they were sure to have not run out of. I suggested at that point we cancel the starter order that never came. We did an the server seemed shocked and then offered us a coupon for a child’s meal free. She came back with the check and said she couldn’t find the coupon. Oi. At this point I’m really wondering if I’ve ever had a worse dining experience and then notice the wallpaper is being held up by scotch tape. Seriously. As we walk out I realize the officer that was hanging out at the hostess podium is still there, it became clear to me that he was keeping the peace instead of picking up a to go order. No, I would not return to this place. Not if I was starving. If I hadn’t been in a car all day, my kids needing to eat and our options limited bc it was so late I would’ve left the place as soon as I was asked to wait ten minutes to be seated in an empty restaurant.

The food is the same as you would find at any other Ruby Tuesday, but the sevice is glacially slow and unattentive. A new crop of tourists staying in the nearby motels assures management’s lack of concern with repeat business.

It is your standard Ruby Tuesday’s, but the service is not the best. I love the salad bar and it had the standard salad items that all Ruby Tuesday’s have. Did I mention the service sucks?

There is only one reason this Ruby Tuesday stays in business: Motel 6. The client base changes every 24 hours – a constant flow of travelers who probably only care that there’s a restaurant within walking distance of their hotel. And corporate expense accounts can be very forgiving of mediocrity. First, let me say our server was nice. Even pleasant. But it was fifteen minutes between the time we sat and the time we placed our order. Our server, who admitted she was new to the restaurant, collected credit cards and wrapped up billing for three other tables before taking our order, even though we had said we were ready. It was almost another fifteen minutes before our food arrived at our table. Not to mention that the music in the place was just too loud. I have to wonder about managers who give an entire section of tables to a novice who doesn’t know the menu.(In her defense, I appreciate her honesty). None of my friends said anything exemplary about their food. My Chicken Bella was strictly average. The veggies that came with it were badly overcooked. And the whole meal was rather small. It did not impress, and it certainly wasn’t worth the $ 15 price tag that came with it. Robbery. There’s better quality food to be had just down the street for a lot less than $ 15. And that’s where you’ll find me.

As a tri-cities local, I’m sad that the service I received was so poor. I won’t be back, but I doubt the place cares because they clearly live on travelers passing through(so don’t expect great service). Asked for water as my beverage and was served seltzer. Boooo. Never got a little plate of the cheesy biscuits(because we didn’t ask for them, even though they’re complimentary). Server spoke of the food in a really unappealing way. When I ordered the gumbo, she informed me that I couldn’t have that dish tonight because it was«frozen in a block.» Oh, yummy! What other dish that you re-heat like a lean cuisine can I order? Didn’t check on us until we were done eating… «How is everything tasting?»… and we’re sitting there with empty plates.

I prefer the Ruby Tuesdays on Sullivan in College Park. Although the same restaurant, food and service, this one does not have a very good vib. The atmosphere is off. I think the RT across from the Sheraton is small and has a friendlier feel. I will say the chicken broccoli penne was quite good.

My accompanying diners claimed their food was incredible, but mine was just so-so. They had pretzel burgers; I had the four way sampler and the grilled chicken salad. The sampler way lacking natural flavors and the salad felt limp in produce flavor. Our server was good and friendly.
