Day: Any given game day! Parking: Varies. At the most it will $ 20 and at the least $ 10. Wait time: I suggest making a reservation days in advance or arrive an hour and thirty minutes before the game starts. Food & such: The steak is definitely my favorite! I noticed a chicken and bacon flatbread this NBA season so I think that will be my go-to meal. Sometimes the menu will have new items so I think you should try something when you see it. The staff is friendly and will do their best to please the customer.

Calling all the Ballers… Come get ya 5 Star experience !!! NBA East leaders verses the West leading Golden State Warriors we had a table in Red. Aside from the awesome seats with great sight lines to the court there is the FOOD. OMG this place is a very good restaurant. The bourbon barrel smoked wings… Fantastic…and I’m a green egg owner so I know. Next up was the BBQ pork chop. Another passing grade for the tender and moist yet flavorful offering. Lastly I am awarding an un-official 6th star for the peach cobbler. Not just any it was the best cobbler I’ve had in my life including my grandma and your grandma. I will go again just for the cobbler. To the arena staff who may read this please consider offering this at other kiosk in the arena as I can’t afford trip to Red all the time.

Dinner at RED prior to the Hawks-Knicks game last night. Incredibly pleasant surprise! I have never experienced a stadium restaurant before but if they are on par with RED, I will become a «frequent eater» very quickly! First, it was easy to locate in the Arena and is accessed by either one flight of steps or an elevator. The service staff I encountered were very friendly and polite — our waitress even engaged in some enjoyable banter with my buddy, who is a big Knicks fan. The food was fantastic! We had a shrimp appetizer(can’t recall the name) and the taste and presentation were very impressive. But the real treat was the RED burger — two parties, good amount of cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato … and a hunk of brisket to top it off! All three of us chose to sample the brisket separately and it was absolutely mouth-watering! Then the burger, which was cooked perfectly and really juicy, capped off a great meal. Worth noting — we had 6:30 reservations, got seated immediately(overlooking the court) and we were never pushed to turn the table. We watched the entire first half from the restaurant before moving down to our seats. I highly recommend RED to anyone heading to the arena. It was a great experience.

Red is a great option if you want to park once for a concert or game at Philips Arena, not do a lot of extra walking, and have a relatively comfortable and quiet place to get a drink and a bite to eat before the event. They take reservations, so you don’t have to worry about finding something to eat on the Hawk Walk and finding a place to sit(there are a lot of concessions at Philips Arena, but very few tables and chairs). There isn’t a lot of really good food anywhere in this area, so I don’t think you’re missing out on anything if you eat at Red. The space is really cool, and it does overlook the arena(though not all tables have a view). Service was friendly and professional. I had a skinny cosmo — tasty, but very weak for $ 12. We started with very good calamari — a dish that’s hard to screw up, but this was better than most… though it was on a bed of uncooked rice noodles that mostly just made a mess. I think of the four dishes on my table, the flatbreads were the best deal. Thin, chewy crust; lots of cheese; and just the right amount of food for one hungry person. I was trying to be healthy and had the roasted chicken, which was just okay. Another friend had the Red Burger, which she enjoyed — it came with fresh potato chips, which we all enjoyed. Next time, I’d stick with a beer or glass of wine and get one of the flatbreads.

I’ve only been here for a Unilocal event, but I thought the atmosphere was high-class, the view out over Philips arena was awesome, the food was good, the beer list is pretty good(especially in terms of arena offerings), and the staff was friendly. I didn’t need a reservation since I was there for an event, but it was pretty full and I’d recommend making one. The food I had was solid pub food — wings, salad, and egg rolls. It wasn’t gourmet, but was tasty. No complaints. They offer some local craft beers on tap, like Three Taverns and Terrapin. You can actually walk up to the restaurant from the regular seats and just order a beer at the bar. The wait for a bartender wasn’t even that bad during the game. The view out over the arena was great. You’re up pretty high, but can really see the whole arena. I didn’t have a chance to sit at one of the tables right on the edge overlooking, but I’d love to go back and sit there. I’d definitely recommend checking this place out at your next Hawks game, and maybe even grab a reservation here for dinner!

I wish I could do 2.5 stars. Oh well. This is the eat in restaurant concept inside Philips Arena. This is a nice one time thing. The view is great– right onto the floor, you can actually see the players(went for a CELTICS game), and it’s pretty swank and snazzy. The food is microwaved and mine was only mildly warm. Entrees are $ 18 – 21, and should be $ 8 – 10, considering that it is microwaved ballgame(wanna be) food. The brisket was horrible, thin, and the bbq sauce tasted straight out of a jar. Drinks were good. Not particularly strong, but good. $ 10 a drink. Our server was a very charming, very nice young man, Khaleem. We arrived right at 6, and there were no less than 9 waitstaff milling about the hostess stand. We stood near the sign that said wait to be seated, while they all looked at us. We thought we were in the wrong place. Finally, a young woman speaks to us. Meanwhile, a suit approached from behind, showing a couple the space that was their«fine dining» area– oh, you should’ve seen the waitstaff scurrying about then. They were all smiles, and tripping over themselves to be helpful. I’m like, really? Whatever. Been there, done that. Probably won’t do it again unless trying to be impressive.

Sat at a table overlooking the court last night for the Hawks game. Overall I enjoyed the experience. The view is great from the few tables that are on the edge facing the court. The food was good. I had the Brisket rolls(amazing) and the Georgia High Plains salad. Main issue I had was one of our tables was extremely wobbly. The server saw us trying to fix it and never once assisted or offered another table. Also, depending on where you sit in Red you can not see the game. Well most areas honestly. That would be a huge turn off for me. Might as well go to a regular bar or restaurant and watch it on tv versus paying to get in the game to watch it on TV. I spent a little time at the bar. I really did not like how the tv on our side of the bar did not show the real tv version camera feed from the game. It was a bad view and quality. The plus is there are several tvs over the kitchen area that shows not only basketball games. They take reservations. You can buy a bad seat and still enjoy the game from their area.

I love this venue. If you are attending a game at the Phillips arena, I highly suggest hitting up dinner at Red. You get a wonderful view of the court while munching on some great food. The bartenders are superb — they really know how to give you the bang for your buck in your cocktails! I will always hit up Red anytime I’m at Phillips!

If you are going to a Hawks game definitely stop here. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because there were no seats available at the bar or in the restaurant due to reservations from a Unilocal event :) the atmosphere is not only awesome but all drinks are the same price as they are throughout the arena. Tier leveled seating, and reasonably priced food. We grabbed a beer, watched some warm ups and headed to our seats. For anyone looking to hang out INSIDE the arena to avoid other crowds at Hudsons and Taco Mac, I would go here. The bartenders were cute and very efficient! We will go again!

I’ve been to this location within Phillips Arena twice now, and I am highly impressed. The ambiance within a sports arena is very regal, and the customer service was outstanding. In addition, the menu was reasonably priced in addition to bar import and domestic drafts + mixed drinks. For this location, you definitely need to call to make a reservation. I highly recommend for a 7:30PM game, for example, to set your reservations for 6:00PM or 6:15PM. That way, you’ll have plenty of time to watch the pre-game festivities and just relax. This venue has both stairs to the second level and an elevator, should you require. With appetizers, I highly recommend the Pow Pow Rock Shrimp. If you have had BoneFish Grille’s Bang Bang Shrimp, then you will like the Pow Pow. This appetizer is served on a white garnish/rice of some sorts that is a little dry, yet tasty. The shrimp is mild to medium spiciness and not likely to set off a four-alarm fire inside of your mouth. The entrees are okay, in my opinion. There are an assortment of burgers and flatbreads, and I think that I saw a couple of steak items on the menu. Again, you have to remind yourself that you are inside of a sports/concert venue, yet the food items are a cut above the standard concessions found on the lower portals within the concourse. The customer service is very, very good. My servers of Brandon and Shantell were very attentive to my needs and were timely in putting in food & drink requests. My bartender, Patrice, was just as timely(and very hot too). If you want good conversation, check out Patrice! A manager usually walks around and checks to see if you are okay. I certainly look forward to subsequent visits within Red. Well worth the eating prior to the game/concert.

My love, Joan, and I had dinner at RED, this evening, and it was marvelous. Our waitress, Stephanie, was amazing. She had the widest, truest smile on her face the whole time that she was at our table, and her service was exquisite. The whole staff was friendly and helpful from the hostess to the several managers who stopped by our table to check on us. For an appetizer, Joan and I shared the«Pow Pow» Rock Shrimp. They were tasty as heck, just a tad hot, but not too hot. We could have shared another plate, or two, and been happy! For her entrée, Joan had the bacon and sweet corn flat bread. She thought it was amazing; she shared a slice with me and I agreed. So tasty! I had the Country Fried Catfish. It came inside Texas toast and there was some tasty sweet cream ginger coleslaw in there, also, and some corn spiced remoulade. It was awesome. Another awesome thing about RED is that many of their seats overlook Phillips Arena. You can get a table at RED on arena events days overlooking the arena by presenting your ticket. Joan and I will be back. Go Hawks!!!

This resturant is beautiful and the view is amazing especially if you are a Hawks fan. It was really cool watching the court while eating a delicious meal. The buffet is beautiful and well maintained with the food being kept at the correct temperature. Definitely worth the visit.

Overall, it’s kind of pricey, but it is a buffet. So it isn’t too bad compared to the other in-venue food establishments. If you get really sucky seats, you can come in here and be waited on and get some pretty decent seats with a backboard view of the courts. If you paid for some more decent seats, I’d get your food and go back to your seats.

For what it is — a bar and restaurant inside an arena, with a view — Red is cool. However, that’s exactly what it is. which makes it meh. I know that may be confusing. It’s all about the view. You can see everything, and be waited on at the same time. Though, the drinks are expensive(vodka cran for $ 10), and the buffet is alright(you have two choices on the menu, the appetizer buffet, or the whole buffet. $ 15 or $ 25… that’s it.) Choices range from a number of «okay» items. sliders to fried mini shrimp to crab cakes to chips to chicken. Plus, desserts that are alright. But for what it’s worth, it’s swanky looking and if you’re trying to impress a date, skip your dumb seats in the actual sections, and get a table here. If you’re just looking to get trashed and watch the game and be rowdy, don’t bother with Red. You won’t get any cool balloons or towels unless you slink down to your section.(Maybe this is only for Playoffs? I’m a total BBall newb.) Either way, take it with a grain of salt. It’s a nice looking, expensive place with satisfactory food.

Red is one of there newest restaurant located in Philips arena on the end zone side of sections 203204 and 205. Half of the seating of these sections are used for in seat dining. This location replaced the old headlines grill that used to be there. The ambiance is very classy with a open view kitchen. The bar is located in the center of the restaurant with flat screen tvs showing the game. The food is ok. The first time I had The red burger. It consisted of as pepper sauce that made it very spicy. The last meal I had there was a flat bread pizza that had mozzarella tomatoes and fresh basil(Not bad). The service is not bad. The bartenders are very attractive. They have a runner system so some one will take your order and another will serve your food. Cons. Beer ordered come in a small tube yes really! You might as well go to taco mac if you are drinking beer. This is not the place for that. Food can take a while but the staff will give you updates on your order. Arena seating area have a Time limit of 30 mins once you get your food. Pros: You can make reservations. Great for dates. Attractive bartenders Over all great spot to take a date or significant other to before of after a hawk game or concert.
