Slow service and mediocre food at above average prices. Not coming back here. We waited for 40 minutes for sandwiches, salad, and one pizza. It was a party of five during a not so busy lunch hour so I don’t understand why service was so slow.

We visited Ray’s while on a college visit to Georgia Tech. Everyone in our family found something on the menu to try and it was all very good. They also had a lunch buffet that looked good but our specific items were not on the buffet so we ordered off the menu. Our server was very pleasant and provided good service. I would visit this restaurant again!

great place for the GA Tech kids to come for a slice. Looks like they have a buffet deal during the day. Pretty popular on a Friday night, but not too crowded at 7 ish. Upstairs is good for a group. Their meatballs are tasty, and their pizza seemed well made. Their garlic bread knots and sauce were a hit. The also have unadvertised drink specials so ask about that. Good selection of beers on tap. Roasted Vegetables that they offer on the buffet are a little undercooked for my taste.

Service is horrible and the food tasteless and undercooked. I have had the fettuccine Alfredo which had no flavor. Tonight I had a cheese pizza. The cheese was not melted. I had them cook it longer I will provide a photo of what was provided to me.

I wanted a small snack so I decided to get a slice of cheese pizza. This can’t be very salty I said to my self. I was wrong. I am perplexed. Does atlanta really like extremely salty food. Ny cheese pizza is a little bit sweet and very little salt. — — - —– —

Came here a few times now since this is where I like to have a last eating date with my bf before he takes the Georgia Tech trolley to the MARTA bound for the airport. So far, we’ve ordered: 1) Soho Calzone Beef meatballs, mushrooms & sundried tomatoes 2) Eggplant Dip(appetizer) Fire roasted eggplant dip topped w/extra virgin olive oil. Served w/warm pita bread 3) Burger Flores with Caesar salad: mushroom, onions, bacon, provolone 4) Falafel sandwich with steak fries Seasoned bean fritters served in a warm pita bread w/tomatoes, cucumbers, pickles, sesame cream & roasted pepper spread Highly recommend their calzones, which are baked folded pie w/mozzarella & ricotta cheese. and served w/warm marinara sauce. I haven’t tried all the varieties, but plan to do so during future visits. They’re also very filling and enough to share with another person. The eggplant appetizer is just a pita bread hummus-like dip, but it really tastes like eggplant though, so definitely recommended for the eggplant lovers! The pita bread that it came with was a bit disappointing though since it tasted a bit borderline stale. The burger flores is not the best burger in Atlanta, but still satisfactory. My bf is quite sensitive to buttery buns, which all burger buns are, but found theirs to be too buttery and made the overall taste to be too oily. The falafel sandwich is average, and we’ve had better elsewhere. We had overlooked the pickles stated in the menu description, which is not a traditional ingredient, but still, it made it too sour for our liking. The fries were ok too. The food comes out quickly during our visits. Service can be a bit slow for outdoor seating though compared to their indoor seating. Their prices are not bad and we would go back just for their calzones.

I have tried to give this place so many chances, but the food is just not good. Had a Buffalo Chicken Pizza from here today and the dough was undercooked and chewy, the chicken tasted hard and stale, and there was not nearly enough buffalo sauce. To top it off I paid $ 11 for this personal pizza which was unappetizing to say the least. I have been for the lunch buffet once before, but I do not remember it. When you order a slice, all they do is throw your toppings on top of a slice of plain cheese, throw another very small sprinkle of cheese on top, and heat it to a lukewarm temperature. This place is very disappointing. I’d advise trying someplace else.

On a Sunday, a restaurant with televisions ought to expect that guests will want to watch NFL football. Today, all of this joint’s screens were turned to — kid you not — rodeo and car racing. Walking in for the first time, I tried to ask the bartender what was up with the break from expectation and caught an eyeroll and mean/snarky attitude in response. I left, offended by the passive aggressive hostility. I left unfed, on my first visit. Do not go here. The people running this place are not paying attention to the basics of hospitality.

I always get the bbq chicken pizza. It has onions and bacon on it as well. It is super good and I would definitely recommend it. A friend got a calzone and he loved it. The service is excellent and the food is superb. Would recommend all around.

This is New York style pizza. Thin and cheesy, with a more doughy texture. My Favorite! The cheese tasted a bit like Armenian rope cheese. Very delicious. Their sauce is light and fresh. The crust was crispy without being over done. The more toppings you order, the heavier your slice will be and everything will fall off when you pick it up hot. I recommend plain cheese. Simple and tasty. Garlic knots were also delicious, esp with cheese. Soft yummy bread with gooey cheese and a light garlic taste. The place was full upstairs and downstairs. Lots of people enjoying the bar and many TV screens with every sporting event playing. Service was fast and friendly. Refills plentiful. Good experience.

Always great service and the food is awesome. I always go for lunch and never had a dish that I didn’t like. The prices are decent and they also give a military discount so that’s always a plus! Love love love this place highly recommend any and everybody to go at least once.

Ray’s pizza is horrendous. my pie was undercooked and doughy. Little to no sauce — unlikely it would have made a difference(not much favor anyway). The calzones, on the other hand, are a different story. The only reason it gets three stars instead of one is because the Buffalo chicken calzone was great. If you want a good ny style pizza, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Terrible service and really bad pizza. Went there on a Thursday night at around 9.30 and we were treated like as though we went there after closing hours(mind you they close at 11:00pm). We ordered the gourmet veggie pizza and it was all soggy and tasted bad. Will never recommend this place to anyone.

Let me start by saying that their staff was adorable, and service was perfect. This review is solely based off of their absolutely disgusting food. We ordered: Garlic Knots with Cheese– 8+ dollars for a plate of bread and cheese. They were mediocre with a super watery, pretty bland sauce. Greek Salad– HOLYVINEGARBATMAN. I couldn’t even eat half of the salad. The dressing was so tart and acidic, that it actually gave me heartburn for the rest of the day. We also had to pay a dollar to split the salad… Pretty ridiculous when you’re charging the prices you’re charging already. A slice of the 3 cheese pizza– It was undercooked, with globs of cheese melted on top and a sauce that was unbelievably sweet. I can honestly say this was probably the worst pizza I have ever had in Atlanta, and I have lived here for 15 years. My Mister ordered a burger, I want to say the black and blue? He said it was ok, but that the burger was so dry that it was like eating shoe leather. I will never be back. Everything about this restaurant was disappointing… Right down to being sat at a table outside, that was so old and warped that no pressure could be put on the table without flipping the other side of the table up… or the fact that I ordered a salad without onions(I’m allergic) and the kitchen sent it out, chalk-full of onion. Completely unimpressed and for 40.00 for two people for lunch, I felt robbed. Literally the only highlight was the staff.

I’m not one to spend much time over near Tech Square on any given day, but I’m really thankful for the kinds folks at Ray’s. After a looooong weekend, yet again, at Taste of Atlanta, these guys were such a godsend for lunch both days of the festival. My staff was slammed all day and we needed some easy, sharable lunch and Ray’s was the perfect choice. The best thing that we could have asked for is what Ray’s does in a relatively easy way — By the slice. I walked in to order some food for us and it made it so much easier than buying an entire pizza for three people. I ordered a few slices of veggie pizza and one pepperoni and they came out in a flash. Oh, they also have a cooler of bottled beverages near the register which came in handy all weekend. Love that they have blue powerade. Hello, hydration. The pizza is wonderful. Bendy, chewy, perfect crunch on the crust, fresh veggies, light sauce, and great mozz on top. It’s a damn good slice. It lends itself to a really good fold, too. As far as mobile pizza goes, Ray’s does it right. The best part of Ray’s is the service. Each time I came into their restaurant, I was met with a smile and peppy attitudes from all of their staff. The guys running the ovens were in a great mood, too. They were enjoying cutting up with one another and having a great time while slinging pies faster than you could imagine. They were running a pie out of the door about every five minutes. I’m really glad we were in such close proximity to Ray’s this past weekend. The pizza was wonderful and I’m looking forward to a return visit.

This place is very popular on game days because of its proximity to the Bobby Dodd Stadium. I’ve been there several times to meet with friends and grab drinks. I ordered the Ray’s Margarita yesterday but it was really salty and disappointing. I asked for another one and requested to not have any salt in the drink but it was still disgusting. However, our server saved the day and brought me a shot glass of cranberry juice. It made the drink so much better! In addition to the cocktail, i also shared a personal Deluxe Pizza with a friend. Not sure if it was the hunger or the alcohol or the food itself, the pizza tasted extraordinary! It was a pretty good experience overall.

Food is hit or miss. BBQ pizza is almost always good. Asked to remove bacon on BBQ pizza but they brought it out anyway. Asked for another pizza. They tried to make me pay for both of even though it was their mistake and I didnt eat the pizza with bacon. Even the waitress acknowledged the mistake. They accused me of wanting only free food. What ensued was a Cursing match between my table and the manager, whose just plain weird. Year later made the fatal mistake of returning. Waiter asked what we wanted to drink. Said Sweet tea. Waiter comes back with lukewarm sweet teas and plops them down on our table and pronounces«sorry, no ice». Should have told us before u offered us drinks. Pizza came out with horrendous amount of tomato sauce and no cheese. They also took forever to come to our table in the first place. Same manager from last year is still there except she shaved half her head. Out of touch with reality and the business of restaurants.

GREAT pizza! Stopped in for lunch today. Had the lunch special of a side salad and s specialty slice. I did the Baslico slice and it was FANTASTIC! It was paper thin and not soggy, the roma tomatoes were fresh as was the basil. It was SO good! Loved the crust, we were in and out in about 45 min. Will be coming back for SURE!

Ray’s offers good pizzas and is a good place to have lunch with fiends. It is good for Georgia Tech students and you can eat outside it is nice. Waiters are cool and the atmosphere is young and cool.
