Good lunch menu and the service was quick. It was certainly adequate, a safe place for sushi at a reasonable price.

Food was good, but they definitely have an «americanized» view of what sushi is. Overall, not bad for a lunch spot

had the crab rangoons and a yum yum sushi roll… it was all delicious! They also deliver… I come to Atlanta for work every few months and am always too tired my first night to go out to dinner so I order in and have ordered from them a few times now and am continued to be pleased

I thought the Sushi here was very good. The flavors were nice and everything was presented very well. I had the Philly roll and the Fire roll. I really liked the fire roll. My only complaint was the roll was a bit big to get down in one bite and everyone knows you can’t eat sushi in two bites. Service was very good. Nice calm environment. Never felt crowded or rushed. Will definitely come back.

This is what I get for laziness. Sheer laziness to drag myself out to a better sushi restaurant. My first intention was to try R Rice with the EAT24 app because of the coupon and the option for delivery. Unfortunately, I’m not in the delivery zone so I ended up picking up my order. I ordered two rolls: Rainbow Roll and Alaska Roll. The pricing is a bit outrageous considering the small size of the rolls. Quality-wise, it was ok and by ok, I mean I wasn’t running for the bathroom after consuming them. The Alaska roll didn’t have much rice on it and I guess that’s fine but it did feel like a big mouthful of raw fish. The other gripe about portions is that each sliced roll was uneven. Most sushi chefs make an effort for pieces to be even. In short, overpriced sushi is what I get for being lazy. Would I do it again? Probably not. If I were desperate, maybe.

I love, love, love Asian cuisine… especially good Sushi. I went in yesterday evening for the first and LAST time to get food to eat for my PM shift at the hospital. The hostess had major attitude and did not greet me for some reason when I came thru the door. So I said, «Good evening» and she just looked at me and didn’t say anything. So I said, «You don’t speak English?». She responded with«Whaaaaaaaaaat?» I took that as a «No» and walked my tail out of there. I wouldn’t give this place 1star if I had a choice.

«Meh» it’s about right. Only been to lunch, but the only appropriate description is «utility sushi». Service is friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is pleasant, but I tend to heavily weigh the food above all else. The food isn’t bad, but then again, is that what you want your $ 12’s worth of lunch to make you think? The sushi rolls is the commoditized stuff that’s only a few bits away from falling into the realm of supermarket prepared sushi. The thai fried rice with tofu isn’t bad, but once again, totally forgettable and would never cause this restaurant to pop into your head when making the decision of where to eat. Like I said, it isn’t bad, and the staff is genuinely pleasant, but this is the kind of spot you end up going to because you’re busy and just need to get lunch out of the way.

I checked out the previous reviews and because I was staying at a nearby hotel on business, I decided to give them a try and placed an order for delivery. I ordered the crab rangoon, Yum Yum shrimp, Chinese fried rice with shrimp, and the snow crab cucumber roll. I was given a delivery window of 30 – 45 minutes and was pleasantly surprised with my order being delivered in about 25 minutes. Everything was fresh and really good. Especially loved the Yum Yum shrimp and snow crab and cucumber rolls.

They have a great selection of both Chinese and Japanese food. The staff is always friendly and helpful in providing suggestions. The food is always high quality and fresh!

Was greeted at the door by the Hostess. Very nice ambiance! There is a liquor bar and a small sushi bar. Abundant seating, nice lighting. There was only one waitress at the time we were there. Our drinks came out quick, and a small salad was served first. It was very fresh, crisp and delicious. Our tempura arrived shortly after that. Shrimp was fried with panko, the vegetables were battered with tempura batter. Sushi had been made and sat on the counter about 15 minutes, which was disappointing. Finally my dish came out Spicy mandarin beef. Looked wonderful, but was not spicy whatsoever… hence the 3 star rating. Sushi should have been stored in a cold area not sitting on top of the bar uncovered. One waitress on a Saturday night is not sufficient.

Really bad customer experience at this place. Called in an order for pickup, and was told it would be 15m.(Some fried rice and pad Thai) Arrived 20m later, and sat down at booth in lobby for about 5m, but nobody was there or walked over. Walked over to the bar, and bartender was turned away facing monitor; after she turned around, she said they’re packing your togo order so I sat back down.(didn’t have to ask she figured I was picking up) 10m later, still nothing. Place isn’t busy, just being ignored for some reason — not sure why, I wasn’t rude on the phone, but the experience was enough to piss me off.

Came here for lunch on Friday and it was not so bad. I walked in with zero expectations and left slightly hungry but mostly satisfied. They do have a great lunch menu but I wouldn’t recommend the 3 roll special. The pieces of sushi are pretty small and it’s nothing special. I was actually shocked when my order came out but I was starving so just ate what was served. Our server was mediocre as I was trying to get her attention several times but she was not very attentive and it really turned me off. Needless to say, I didn’t leave a good tip because she was not up to par. I’ve been told in the past that this place is pretty solid but perhaps the dinner menu is what receives the best reviews. I don’t think I’ll be coming here for lunch again unless I choose to try something else off their lunch menu. They are located in the same shopping center as Uncle Julio’s off of Hammond Dr. just minutes from Perimeter Mall. Parking is VERY limited during the weekday lunch rush but if you’re craving sushi and work or live in the area, they are supposedly the best choice in the area. I know they also offer delivery services in the evening so be sure to take advantage of this if need be.

The sushi and the service are good here. I celebrated one of my birthdays here and had tons of sushi at the table. It was my first time trying Roe. The best thing I have had was the sushi called Beauty and the Beast. Their menu is not linked to Unilocal but it is quite extension. I forgot they served General Tso’s until I saw a picture. Even though this place is close by, it is not my top sushi spot. The atmosphere is nice. Kinda date night like, but just not a wow factor to visit again and again. When I’m in the mode for Beauty and Beast Roll or feeling fishy adventurous, I may stop by. It’s good enough and worth my time to tell you a lil something sumthin. There you go.(wink)

This restaurant is located in a small plaza next to a few other lunch restaurants in a busy business area. It is one of the few quick Asian options in the area for lunch and offers a variety of lunch specials. They have bento boxes, sushi combos, and rice/noodle combinations for all under $ 10 during lunchtime. I have been here a few times and have tried different lunch specials. First, the sushi combos can either be 2 rolls or 3 rolls from a selection of 20 or so different rolls. The 2 roll combo is less than $ 10 while the 3 roll combo is a few dollars more. The rolls also come with your choice of soup or salad. All the rolls mainly come with 5 – 6 pieces and are pretty basic. For the rice/noodle combinations, you get to choose a meat and sauce style and get a full plate of food. It is a generous portion size and you also get the choice of soup or salad. The service here is mediocre at best with minimal servers even though lunchtime can get pretty crowded. Each time I have ordered sushi, it takes awhile for the sushi to be made and the hot food tends to be made faster. So if you are in a rush and craving Asian food, go with the hot options or save more time for the sushi. The food is average here but the prices are reasonable so you can get your cheap lunch fix in if you come here.

I’ve been here twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. I was searching for a restaurant that had a gluten free option as one of my good friends is allergic to gluten. This place has a separate menu that is gluten free but the waiter informed us that sometimes items on this menu are not available so be sure to ask! Can’t remember what I got for lunch since it was almost two years ago. For dinner, I would normally get a sashimi dinner or some type of sashimi/sushi combo at a place like this but the prices were a little too high for my tastes. So I ended up trying the sashimi avocado salad($ 11.95). There was a good assortment of fish and the portion size was generous. Would definitely get this again. Also got the salmon roll($ 5.25 for 6 pcs) anticipating that the salad wasn’t enough. I would have been fine with just the salad. I’ve enjoyed both dining experiences here with the same friend. Best part is that they are gluten free friendly. We will be back!

The food really teeters toward 4 stars, but was not too impressed with the drinks. and certain portion of the service. Came here during happy hour and they had $ 5 martinis — I ordered two lemon drop martinis … the first one did not quite hit the spot since it was a bit too sweet. I then asked the server if she can tell the bartender to go more towards the sour side, and she gave me this awkward look. Well, when my second martini came, it was still made exactly just like the first one. *sigh* I had the pad thai with tofu and although I must admit that I was not too thrilled with it when it first came out, I sure changed my mind once I dug into it. There was PLENTY of tofu and the noodles were perfectly cooked. The thing that kind of threw me off is that it was a bit too soupy. Anyway, I couldnt finish the whole dish at $ 11 for the dinner plate so I took half of it home. I left the soupy part behind and left it dry for me to take home and it still tasted pretty good for the second round. I had a chance to taste my friend’s General Tso’s chicken and that was great as well. The server was nice and sweet but lackluster. Our server, at the end, while she was handing our bill, accidentally dipped the folder in one of my friend’s food that she was still working on. Im not sure if the server saw it at the moment, but my friend made a comment about that and the server did not even acknowledge what just happened. Anyway, I recommend the pad thai(although it doesnt look to appetizing at first, it actually tastes very good.) and the general tso was also pretty good.

This is one of those safe«ethnic» places to dine at in the Perimeter Mall area. I used to work very close by and have visited this place on two occasions. I do not eat seafood by choice, so I can’t comment on sushi or any other dish that contains once-living marine life(I don’t even like seaweed). I have gotten the chicken massamun lunch portion, as well as just an order of steamed gyoza(well, I requested that the dumplings be steamed but they came out fried and ultimately I didn’t have the energy to send back). Service has been decent for me, if maybe just a tad slow during peak lunch hours. Nice enough servers and the portions are very reasonable to get oneself through the afternoon into the evening, at which point you’ll probably need to recharge your human batteries with additional provisions. I don’t hate the place, but it isn’t at the top of my list. That being said, if you’re looking for tame Asian food and are limited on time, you may find that this place fits the bill.

4.5 It is said«first impressions mean everything» while I don’t always agree with this statement I will agree that this first impression was great ! I found out that Rice has lunch specials Monday — Sunday until 3 p.m. This past Sunday I was actually given the day off from work and a took a break from packing and decided to check the place out. The«lunch specials» are on the back of the menu and there are plenty of choices to keep you occupied for more than a minute with things like curry, rice or noodle dishes, Thai and Sushi. Appetizer — Agadashi Tofu when this was placed on the table I was pleasantly surprised to see how large the portion was. Taste — It was awesome, perfectly cooked crispy outside and soft creamy inside with just enough Bonito flake on top for smokiness. This is a simple street food that I Really Enjoy and Rice nailed it. Sushi Lunch Special — 2 rolls $ 9.50 or 3 rolls $ 12.50 it will come with a ginger salad or miso soup(upon request). The Surprise is there are Thirty Three Rolls to choose from on this list. Whaaaat you say, I said thirty three ! *Spider Roll — Was on point it even had roe on top. *Tuna Roll — Solid, choose avocado or cucumber as part of the roll. * Shrimp Roll — Choose asparagus or avocado. All were good, was quite happy with the quality of the fish and couldn’t believe you get to choose a veggie as part of the(some) rolls . Next visit — Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box —($ 10.99) Ginger salad, several sauteed(med.) shrimp with onions(sauce on side), three pieces of California roll, three goyza and choice of white, brown or fried rice(skip it). This was tasty and used the left over sauce from the goyza to season the shrimp. Thoughts on this, for the size and quality of the bento I was pleased and looking forward to future visits.
