This PnC BBQ location has a picnic table style set up. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and fries, and I had 1 rib. Yes, just 1 rib. :) The pulled pork was moist, but could’ve been more moist.(I know my coworker hates the word moist). Coleslaw wasn’t too mayo saucey, so it was a great side. The crinkle cut fries were good ol’ fashioned, just the way I like em. The 1 rib that I ate was on the thinner side, could’ve been beefier, although it’s not beef. Anyways, the sauce is where it’s at! They have spicy, mustard, and regular(sweet). I smothered my sandwich with all three! Yum

Food is great. I always get the ribs. They fall off the bone and are good every time and there are several options for sides. Nice and friendly staff. Haven’t been to thier other locations but this one always good.

First let me start by saying when i first saw pig n chick i was skeptical, only because im from south carolina and im serious about my BBQ. So i decided to give it a go. I was attracted by the ambiance, it made me feel at home. The service was excellent, and the food was certainly amazing. I personally love the ribs! I will most definitely eat here again and again! Try the wings!

Not a bad place for BBQ, if Yu are in the Roswell Road area. A coworker and I went here a few days ago and we found both the service and the food to be very enjoyable. Standouts(that we tried was the pork, mac and cheese, Coke slaw and the sweet tea. They also have a lot of beer to choose from and Moon Pies!!!

Oh Lord, please help me! I ordered combo #2 and I feel I’m being punished for my pride; the platter is served up like an ark of deliciousness with seemingly two of every meat, bread, Mac and cheese. And Brunswick stew all for $ 23… I should have paced myself but I was so excited that I couldn’t hold back and I paid the price, now I’ve got 3 meats left to go and a to go box of shame next to me… Forgive me for having sinned against these meats and not finishing them properly…

The hubby and I went here on Valentine’s Day since nothing says I Really Like You more than pulled pork. Perhaps it was only an off day for Pig N Chik, but the BBQ was terrible. It was DRY!!! And BBQ sauce did not even help. Dry pork is the worst. Nevertheless, their mustard based BBQ sauce was quite yummy. I did attempt the Redneck Nachos. I enjoy the thought of them, but overall, I was not impressed.

Pig-N-Chik BBQ is a cafeteria-style BBQ restaurant right off of Roswell Road. Serves your typical BBQ food like pulled pork, ribs, and chicken wigs with sides like mac-n-cheese and steamed broccoli. The servers here are very friendly and I love the interior that gives this place character compared to your typical joints like Applebee’s. Soothing classical rock and blues is always playing in the background. Pricing is very reasonable, everything seemed to be under $ 11. I was a little disappointed by the food though. The pulled pork we ordered was very dry and flavorless. The BBQ sauce they offer is great, but I wish I could have enjoyed the pork WITHOUT the sauce as well. My son usually loves mac-n-cheese, but he stopped eating after two bites, since it was too soggy. May give this place another try soon. Hope our second visit would be better than our first.

We’ve been here a few times now, since we live just up Roswell Road. I’ve never been terribly impressed, either way, but after our recent visit, we may put it on the regular rotation. My five year old is not a good eater. We’re trying to go out every Sunday after church to try something«new». We were the first customers, around 11:30 on a Sunday. I chose the pulled chicken with green beans. Jimmy got the ribs with mac-and-cheese. I got chicken tenders with broccoli for one son and corn dog with baked beans for the other. After ordering, choosing a booth, hiding the condiments container with paper towel roll from the little guy, the cashier informed us that they didn’t have mac-and-cheese, so Jimmy chose more baked beans instead. There are a few arcade games to entertain the kids and a bucket of broken crayons with a few coloring books. The cashier also brought our orders to the table. I liked the chicken, adding the mustard sauce. The green beans were standard fair. My son liked the chicken tenders, though after we convinced him to try my chicken and Jimmy’s ribs, he preferred those, probably due to the dryness of the chicken tenders. The broccoli was a hit, as it was steamed to softness and still quite juicy. Simple barbecue and simple sides, served quickly on a Sunday. We’ll be back!

Awesome food! My go-to is the brisket sandwich with mac & cheese and fried okra. Always delicious! I almost always order to-go but the wait is never too long.

RUDE!!! Ordered lunch for the office. They tried to charge $ 3 per credit card transaction. They thought we put them on hold and the girl started talking junk being very disrespectful. Person on the phone snappy and short. First time ordering but never actually ordered. Never mind. We’ll stick to Clay’s.

Being from the Kansas City area, I’m probably a bit of a BBQ snob. There are a lot of BBQ joints around KC and I’ve been to most of them, good, bad, and great. Having said that, I have a very simple method for judging BBQ restaurants; It’s the quality of their brisket. Brisket is the Achilles heel of pit masters, especially when cranking it out in volume at a restaurant. If a business takes the time to put a process in place which consistently turns out moist, tasty brisket, then I’m impressed. When I visited Pig-N-Chik for lunch on 11÷18÷15, they served me some of the best brisket I’ve had from a restaurant. And that, in my opinion, is saying a lot. It was juicy, it was tender, it was sliced thick, and it wasn’t overcooked to be more like a pot roast than smoked beef. Good job folks!

Love places like this. Small restaurant with character. Cool old classic rock tunes playing in the background. My pulled pork was juicy. The Brunswick stew is slightly sweet with all sorts of good stuff in there and the collard greens were okay(they need to be de-stemmed). Charging 70 cents for pickles doesn’t really jibe with me. I love my BBQ with pickles and onions. Onion should be sliced very thin longitudinally and pickle chips(IMHO). I’ll be back. Enjoyed it.

The food here is seriously outstanding. Particularly the pulled pork, potato salad, brunswick stew and beans.

What’s great about Pig-N-Chik is the atmosphere and the people. The food alone isn’t worth driving out of your way, but it’s perfectly fine for what it is(solid bbq.) However, this is a very inviting, casual little spot that hosts super fun trivia nights on Thursdays — if that’s your thing, I recommend checking it out. There have been two different hosts in recent months, both of whom keep the game moving quickly and have friendly personalities. The staff and management couldn’t be nicer, either. Like the restaurant itself, which is covered in sports memorabilia, they’re laid-back and want to make their guests feel comfortable. Those guests run the gamut — you’ll see people of all ages, races, and walks of life here. Nestled at the edge of a shopping center on Roswell Rd., Pig-N-Chik has a small menu. They have a few specialties and try to get those right. You have the option of a sandwich with beef, pork, or chicken, or a plate with the same meats. Meats are served dry, and there is a pretty good sauce on the table(it’s smoky and tangy, which I like — but if you want sweet or vinegar, you may have to ask specially.) You can also opt for«Redneck Nachos,» which is your choice of meat over crinkle-cut fries, topped with shredded cheddar cheese. As far as the meat goes, the pork is your best bet. The chicken has been a little dry the couple of times I’ve gotten it, but let’s be honest — I was just gonna douse it in sauce anyway. If you simply want to hang out with your friends and get a pretty decent dinner at a very affordable place while in a comfortable atmosphere with friendly staff, Pig-N-Chik is worth the stop!

Atlanta has so many great bbq places. This is one of them. Clean, great beer selection, nice outside dinning available. More importantly-Great ribs, collard greens, and okra. The nearly perfect supper place. Really good value for the money also. I would have given 5 stars but the guy taking our order clearly did not like his job and wasn’t too fond of us either. Maybe his dog just died or something. Whatever. The food is too good not to make this place one of my favs! Be sure to try their vinegar bbq sauce. Oh my hell that’s good!

First timers. I got ½ pound of brisket and Brunswick stew. The lady got pulled pork sandwich with mac n cheese and broccoli. Prices were usual for a BBQ joint, I understand I’m going to pay more because they actually have some time invested in their dishes. However, the single side of stew, while good, wasn’t worth the little amount they give you. The mac n cheese and broccoli certainly weren’t worth writing home about. I wanted to be wowed after hearing about this place. The pork and brisket were tender nothing unique in the flavor department. In the end it was very satisfying but nothing spectacular. It helps that they deliver and they have MOONPIES! very docile atmosphere and friendly service.

I was tired when I ordered to go, but I thought the ribs came with a side of BBQ sauce. Maybe I just forgot to ask for it? But who goes to a BBQ spot, orders ribs and does not want BBQ on their ribs? Maybe it’s just me. It’s in my hood so it’s quick and easy when I want food and go home. Its BBQ(minus BBQ sauce sometimes). Can you tell I am upset I didn’t get my sauce? My advice is check your order before you leave or request the stuff. Overall it’s okay. The ribs were eh without the sausce so maybe not having it clued me in to the real deal. I had some collard greens and green beans with it and they really were not the most flavorful bunch of veggies. I have tried the pull pork and that was better. The location is casual and you order at the counter to stay or go. They have a beer fridge and some video games for the kids. It’s okay for something quick and you’re in the neighborhood.

Do you ever have one of those days you don’t feel like leaving the house & stayin in your jammies then you smell the neighbors grilling out and your stomach gets to grumbling and well cooking is not an option ? If you’re tired of Chinese and a bag of popcorn won’t due try Pick n Chick they deliver, the b.b.q. is reliable so all you have to do is make a phone call and it will show up in a jiffy. Eat yourself silly, relax, then back to bed for a nice nap sounds good right ? Ribs are ordered on occasion while not my favorite(in town) are tender, the Smoked Turkey & Pulled Pork will satisfy. Oh my the Smoked Wings(.50 each) mmm I’ve become a bit addicted to these they are highly smoked, seasoned and need not a drop of sauce. All meats can be bought as sandwiches, plates or by the pound and several sides can be purchased in two sizes. Moon Pies large or minis can be snapped up at the counter. Sauces are on the tables if you are getting delivery let them know what kind(s) you want. Beer is in the cold case and catering can be done. Sometimes when walking the dog a pit stop is made here the staff will even bring the dog water, nice. Pick n Chick closes at 9:30 just be there before then or you may not get what you hoped for.
