I’m taking the time to write this review to warn potential buyers of the policies this store has in place, as well as the lack of attention to customer service. My NY based interior design company has purchased several times from this store, although we never will again. The last purchased item arrived damaged and proceeded to fully break the day it was set in place(it was a lucite side table). We immediately emailed the company to notify them of the problem and let them know we wanted to return the damaged item and have them issue a refund. After much debate, and the involvement of the store owner, we were informed that all their sales are both«as is» and«final». Our money was not refunded and we were told we would be sent a replacement part so we could hire someone to fix the table for us. We informed them we felt this policy was unacceptable since the«as is» sales policy neglected to tell us that if the item arrived broken we would need to absorb the cost, and they would take zero responsibility for the expense. We are now stuck with a thousand dollars of merchandize which is as good as garbage and we felt the need as professionals to inform any potential buyers to be very careful when approaching this establishment. If you receive something broken that they deem ‘fixable’ they will not take any responsibility for the fixing or the item. I would advise against purchasing anything form these people.

I LOVE this store. If I could redecorate on an unlimited budget(and, yes, that would include things for Big and coffee table books, both of which Pieces has in spades), this would be one of my main shopping spots. From the armoires to the chairs. .. lamps. .. candles. .. prints. I love it all! It’s like the most fabulous cross between what I’d call casual posh/sophisticated chic and punchy color love! Ah, just«window shopping» here makes me happy. Good thing there’s Pinterest so I can keep making my dream home board!

I decided to do my normal weekend boutique hopping and found a slice of gay heaven in Buckhead! When I walked into Pieces, I walked into pure sweet bliss! The store was decked out in all white and the pop of color was shown in the cute accessories, lush fabrics, and gorgeous furniture. I definitely felt a bit of a Miami vibe and was instantly greeted by the adorable store owner, Lee Kleinhelter. I honestly could not believe this was my first time in this store! Every piece of furniture is high quality and very unique. Please note, if you are looking for white leather pieces for your room, look no further! Anyways, as the boyfriend converts to school girl mode(you know the gasping and high-pitch screaming with delight), I took the opportunity to browse the store on my own to find some hidden treasures. Check out the lamps(both table and pendants), fun gifts and accessories(i.e. books on Miami style and miniature knit purses that store colored pencils), and the brightly colored fabric pillows. Oh and the BESTTHING… what better way to accessorize your home then man’s best friend! That’s right, not only does Pieces sell furniture, but they sell dog goodies! Some things to highlight are the camouflage raincoats, multi-colored leather and fabric dog collars, and dog polos! I hang out at a lot of pet stores and was impressed with their selection, since I have not seen many of the brands they carry. I’ll definitely be heading back soon to buy my dog something as well as a couple of those Glass Globe Pendants for the loft!
