Just what we were craving! Fantastic Chinese food delivered fairly quickly(1 hr after order). Huge food portions! We ordered sesame chicken with lo mein, cashew chicken with rice, an extra order of veggie lo mein, egg drop soup and crab Rangoon. Slightly more expensive than your typical Chinese takeout, but enough for my boyfriend and I to easily make 3 full meals out of, honestly– probably 4! Highly recommend! After an awful experience with another Chinese restaurant, we put Chinese takeout on hold. We have now found our new go-to!

Great little takeout or delivery only restaurant. All the standards plus free delivery make it an easy go-to place if you’re on the run and have a drink or two and stay at home on a Saturday night. Generous portions, great soups and fried rice all at very reasonable prices. It is not five star Chinese cuisine but neither are the prices! Good solid food freshly prepared I can confidently vouch for.

A menu was left at my front door so I thought I’d check it out. Ordered Singapore noodles, roast pork fried rice and beef with mushrooms for dinner. Portions are HUGE and food was delicious. Prices were good and food was delivered quickly. This place will be my go to Chinese delivery place.

Ordered happy family combo delivery which was supposed to come with an egg roll and fried rice. I also asked to be sure and send hot mustard. Food came with plain rice, no egg roll and no hot mustard. Why would you not check a delivery to make sure it is correct??? Will not order there again.

I have ordered from Pagoda twice before. The first time, the chicken fried rice was a good portion and there was reasonable amount of chicken. The second time, there was little to no chicken in the chicken fried rice and the rice was as bland as imaginable. The customer service is dreadful. When you ask about pricing the woman who picks up extremely rude. I can’t trust someone that rude NOT to spit in my food so thanks but I am taking my taste buds elsewhere. The man who delivers the food is unpleasant. The place is just not worth having my day ruined every time I have food delivered or I pick up.

Food is pretty good. Prices are a bit hefty after lunch hrs. Only Got 2 combos and total came out to $ 27.00, too me thats crazy! ** But HUGE servings! Could feed Four, prob 5 if just girls. So I guess that can total out for the hefty price. **Ahh, customer service is bland, but I dont go into many Asian owned businesses and expect the red carpet treatment. If you know what you want and dont expect small talk, your good. Overall experience would be 3.5 fast service, good food, large portions !!

So i decided to try something new and ordered egg drop soup, jumbo salt and pepper shrimp. The soup was super watery and no flavor at all. Disappointed in the salt and pepper shrimp… it was a thick flour breading on it. Will not try this place again.

I have lived in the area for years and have passed by this place many times. My thought was that since it had survived here for so long, maybe it was a hidden find. I have eaten my way up and down Buford highway, so I understand the difference between American Chinese food and Chinese Chinese food, but this was truly an affront to both. The food was completely uninspired in every way and the service was begrudging at best. The final insult was that as I went to pay the bill, I saw that one of the employees eating a dish that looked really, really great! So apparently they can make good food but they just don’t think we are worthy of it.

My boyfriend, renowned junk food junkie, SWEARS by this place as his go-to hangover food spot. While I’m typically a bit of a health food nut, I decided to give it a shot. The first time that I ever ordered from there, I found a gigantic black hair in my tofu. I just about vomited when I pulled it out with my fork. I am still sick thinking about it. After being chided to give it another shot a few months later, I agreed that sometimes things«just happen» in the restaurant business and said okay. This time, I ordered the absolute most basic thing on the menu, steamed tofu and vegetables, while my food was mediocre, it looked pretty clean, so I decided to put my former feelings towards this place on the back burner. Alright now for time three. We needed a quick Sunday meal and it was again my boyfriend’s turn to pick the takeout, so Pagoda it was. I ordered the same steamed tofu and veggies meal, some vegetable egg rolls, etc. We got some completely opposite order. My plain, steamed, impossible-to-screw-up meal was covered in this nasty sauce, literally soaked with it, and the vegetable were practically gooey. We got spring rolls instead of egg rolls, my mushrooms tasted rancid– I need not go on. Pretty much… Just… No.

I like pagoda restaurant. Their food taste so good, general tao chicken and mogolian beef are my favorite. They deliver food quickly and the driver was very nice. Overall, it was a good experience.

Nothing but tasteless slop using the lowest quality meats and fillers available. The Clammpets open a Chinese place. Buon Appettito.

First, let me just say that Teh Pagoda(lol, sic) is something of a mixed bag, depending on your priorities. I am agonizing between 3 and 4 stars, but I decided that there’s nothing wrong with a solid 3. First, the restaurant is very small. It’s basically a delivery/takeout hub with a couple of tables. Definitely NOT somewhere you’d go for a date. While I have read good things about their delivery, I did carryout as I live practically next door. My food was ready in less than 10 minutes, which was appreciated. Their menu seems larger than other restaurants, and they seem to have several interesting looking house specialties. This is usually a good sign for me, and implies a creative chef that enjoys and takes pride in what they do. The food itself is solid. Definitely not the best chinese food I’ve had, but certainly not the worst either. I ordered the mushroom beef, as I love mushrooms. Sadly they were all white mushrooms — I was hoping for some black or straw mushrooms, but no such luck. Oh well. The dish was somewhat greasy, as others have said, though it is very likely related to requesting it super spicy, as they appear to use a combination of hot chili oil/paste and whole szechuan chilis. While it is very rare for any restaurant to actually stock a pepper hot enough for my tastes, it was hotter than most other chinese places are capable of offering with just the chili oil, so they get props for that. The main selling point is the portions(my GOD, the portions!). I read a review saying that this was basically 3 meals in one, and I must say that’s not far off. They basically take one of those takeout containers with the 3 compartments for things like lunch combos… And then fill the entire thing with your meal, to the point that it completely covers all of the dividers(I can see this dripping if you unknowingly tip it while picking it up, but that’s a risk I’m willing to take in return for the portions). In conclusion, if you’re looking for a massive amount of decent chinese food for quick carryout or delivery, you could do a lot worse than The Pagoda.

The customer service was amazing! but the food honestly SUCKED! I tipped my driver really well because they took my order fast and got here within 35 minutes of me placing the order but the food was TERRIBLE. I ordered the lunch special of beef with broccoli with white rice which included an egg roll and wontons. This was just nassty. No flavor, the wontons tasted like they had been old, very mush. not crunchy. I also ordered a side of hot-n-sour soup and that was really good but I also ordered an order of fried chicken and this was THEWORSTEVER… I gave it to my co-worker who normally will eat ANYTHING but EVENHETASTED A piece and agreed with me, THEYDONOTKNOWHOWTOCOOKFOOD. There was ABSOLUTELYNOFLAVORATALL, and they didn’t cook the chicken to a crisp so it was a little mushy and VERYVERYGREASY. mY ORDERTOTALED14.66BUT tipped 3.44 so I wish I had not done so. terrible lunch! DON’T WASTEYOURMONEY.

I have ordered from here twice now to work and am thrilled at the food quality, quantity and temperature, especially for the cost. They do run a bit on the spicy side in comparison to their competition of delivery Chinese spots, but are true to spiciness of a traditional mid-range restaurant. The Hunan chicken is amazing, hot and sour soup very good and chuck full of stuff as opposed to just broth”. The lunch specials are $ 5.75 and include the entrée, fried rice, a mini egg roll and a crab rangoon… lots of food and a great way to realize you like the appetizers too!

GREAT! Excellent service and food. I never review anything but I just had such a great experience I decided to review Pagoda. I ordered delivery from Pagoda at 6:44 and it was here and I was finished eating eating 40min later at 7:42. The food arrived extremely quickly, still hot. The egg rolls were not only still too hot to eat but they were still crisp! I ordered lo mein and Thai curry chicken. Both are delicious. The portion sizes are huge. One of the biggest plusses(besides how good the food is) is that the delivery person didn’t give me grief about bringing my order to my door. My building is admittedly a pain, but most chinese delivery people I have dealt with in the past park and expect me to come down to get my food. To hell with that! One guy actually yelled at me once. Really. This was a fantastic experience and Pagoda is now the only Chinese restaurant I’ll order from.

I got the General Tso’s Chicken and the Teriyaki Chicken. The GT’s Chicken was kinda spicy. A little different than I’m used too. The Teriyaki was above average. Overall, a good experience. The food was ready quikly too.

We had a delivery of pork mushoo, crab rangoon, egg drop soup, and spring rolls. Our order was quick, tasty, and accurate. We will be ordering from this place again. Only odd thing was when we pulled the mushoo out of the bag, liquid poured out of container into the bag and I had to rush the bag to the sink.

Once a week I get a few random menus stuck under my door by some random delivery Chinese spot. This weeks restaurant… Pagoda. Strange thing about Pagoda, is that its just like Lau Pan, Chinese Dragon, Asian House, or any other random name I can make up for Chinese restaurants whose food all tastes the same, and seem to all deliver to my door. Crazy thing is I rarely ever see these places when I am out and about. I am actually convinced that none of them really exist. It’s some random Chinese restaurant that spits out 20 different menus, but literally its all coming from the same place. And considering it all tastes the same, my theory actually may hold up. Pagoda is nothing special. The delivery driver smelled like a combination of cigarettes and Shrimp fried rice. It was actually one of the worst smells ever. I literally had to spray my entrance way after he left. I ordered shrimp and brocolli which was pretty decent, in a brown sauce. I also had their Shrimp low mein which was a lil slimy, but still tasted decent. Nothing memorable about this place, guess I’ll have to wait to see what new creative name they come up with next week.

Pagoda delivers to my office, so I ordered some food from them last week. Sadly, I was not impressed. I ordered a lunch special, which came with an eggroll and a crab rangoon. The eggroll was oddly mealy and oily, with nothing but cabbage inside. I’m a fan of cabbage, actually, but I feel like they should at least add a few bits of carrot or something. The crab rangoon was sort of, well, mayonaise-y. It kind of tasted like a cole slaw rangoon. Yuck. My entrée itself(which was Twice-Cooked Pork) wouldn’t have been too bad, except for the sauce. The sauce was like gravy. By which I mean that it was brown and salty and had the exact same texture as beef gravy. It was really weird. The meat and cabbage parts of the entrée were actually pretty decent, but Chinese food just shouldn’t be drenched in gravy. Overall, I rate this restaurant 2 stars because it just was NOT good Chinese food. On the other hand, the entrée wasn’t vomit-inducing once I got past the weird gravy thing. Maybe I just ordered their one bad entrée? Well, that and eggrolls and crab rangoon clearly also are not their strong suit. If I end up deciding to order from them again, I’ll update to let you know if it was better. But I’m thinking that I may not decide to order from them again.

Call the extra star one for nostalgic purposes, perhaps, but tonight I might be enjoying the best delivery from The Pagoda ever. It’s moving day and before the dog and I head to the new digs, I just had to do a last supper at my fave spot. First of all, my dinner arrived(and everything was perfect) in 14 minutes. That’s a record, even for them! Second, I got free egg rolls since I paid cash(if I’d know about that perk sooner, I’d have always taken that payment plan!). Third, the soup was still so hot I couldn’t eat it right away and I love the fact that the little crunchies are now in smaller pieces. Hey, it’s the details that get me most of the time! And, it is all finished off by the best fortune I’ve ever gotten. Maybe I’ll have to visit friends who live in the delivery area after I am fully moved into the new place. ..
