Beautiful store with an exquisite collection of ribbon. Nick, the owner, is so patient and gracious and spent HOURS working with me to find the perfect ribbons for my project – even on days the shop was closed! Far beyond the call of duty. He has a great eye and a lovely business. Cannot recommend this shop more highly.

Nicholas Kneil belongs in the garment district in NYC — it’s amazing that this little gem is tucked away in the Atlanta suburbs. His ribbons are the best quality and his taste is unbeatable.

I found Nicholas Kniel from a Martha Stewart magazine, and let’s just say the shop is a good thing. a very good thing. the store overflows from corner to corner with a well-​edited mix of new and vintage trims in the whole color spectrum. Nicholas’ taste is unerring and he truly is a merchant of marvel and peddler of dreams.
He is the store to visit for any bridal/​party/​or editorial needs and it is definitely one of my happy places.

Shelves upon shelves of ribbon, feathers, buttons, trimmings, and inspiration. There’s a vast array of colorful options, ranging from vintage to newly produced. You’ll find anything and everything you could possibly need for bridal veils, fascinators, theatrical costumes, burlesque nipple coverage, hat-​making, hair-​adorning and gift wrapping. If you’re even remotely crafty, you should stop in. There’s ostrich feathers with your name on them.

This is a wonderful place to go if you are working with costuming, décor, mask, or other embelishing projects. He has the most beautiful ribbons and millinery embellishments I have ever seen. Feathers, buttons, flowers. the sky is the limit.
I would love to take a class, but it doesn’t look like any are offered right now.
FYI: Nicholas Kniel is closed Sundays and Mondays. It is located in a gray shopping plaza off Hildebrand. His shop is upstairs on the left. Free parking in the shopping plaza lot.
