Shop is now at her home. Address listed is incorrect. After getting the correct address from her she never informed me that it was at her home. This was fine, but there was no indication over the phone or even at her home that this was the location. What I was most concerned about wss that they claim to be a natural hair salon, but the products used weren’t and the way my hair was blow dried was very aggressive and painful. I felt as though some of my hair was being pulled out due to the type of brush and technique that she was using. My hair is very soft and does not require that kind of treatment. Overpriced.

I have been here a couple times and gotten 2-strand twists with no extensions. Cat is extremely fast! I have been wearing my hair like this for the past 8+ years, and to wash, blow out, and twist my super curly hair, typically takes close to 3 hrs, but Cat was done in well under 2 hrs both times. Before starting, she let me know she typically blows her clients hair out a bit before twisting, to see if I was OK with that, as some stylists twist wet. I do prefer to twist dry so that was good for me. The first time she did my hair, she did not use very much product and left the ends looking kind of dry, and before the end of the day, I already felt like they were starting to unravel. So I ended up going over the ends myself just to make sure they held. I mentioned this the next time I returned and she was happy to make sure she used more product on the ends, and they are much better now. I wasn’t thrilled with the original job, but I appreciate that she seems to always be willing to have a conversation and make sure you as a client get what you want. I like how the end result looks — I got it done Friday and already got a complement on it from a stranger on Saturday. There is one other stylist, who I think is only there some of the time. It’s not a big place or anything like that, so if both stylists are there, you may have to wait a minute to use the shampoo basin. She is on Moreland Ave now, working out of a salon in her house. There’s no huge sign or anything out front to tip you off, so it’s not that hard to miss.

I called this salon based upon the Unilocal reviews. Cat the owner answered the phone right away and I discussed over the phone what I would like for as a hair style and she replied very honestly and referred me to someone else. I will make an appointment with CAT for followup hair care. Thanks for the advice

Despite confirming my appointment, she stood me up. Her shop is at her home and she did not even bother to call or apologize. I had to travel for work the next day and she left me in a bind. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate.

Cat Belle is the bomb diggity. I love the way she has handled my natural tresses. My hair is in the best shape it has ever been in. I have super kinky, dry, 4Z type hair that will break combs, brushes, and everything in between. She gives me a great deep condition and wash and is very gentle when detangling my hair. She uses tea tree oil to detangle and I always leave with my scalp greased. I told her I wanted a monster fro and that is the goal I’m working on. I’m loving the growth as I’ve recently started over and chopped it all off. It looks so gorgeous and has grown very well in her capable hands. I will trust no one else ever with my hair.

I went to Natural Beauty to have my hair braided today. It was my first visit. Cat is great! I am so happy I found the salon on Unilocal.Cat is a great stylist — knowledgeable and professional. She worked quickly and efficiently. She was gentle and careful with my hair. I’m extremely happy with the results. I love Cat’s vibe and her laid-back attitude. She’s easy to talk to and has a great girlfriend vibe. I look forward to many more visits to Natural Beauty.

I am very pleased following my first experience with Cat Belle at her natural hair salon. I like the fact that she will see clients on Mondays — it suits my schedule very well to be able to do that. Besides being professional and doing a great job helping me transform from locks through the«big chop» into twists, she gave me some useful tips about nutrition, exercise, and how to care for my hair properly between visits. She was highly recommended by someone I met recently, and she exceeded my expectations by far. She’s terrific, and I am glad to know her.

The absolute best«hair» experience I have ever had. Like many women of color; making the decision to go natural was very difficult for me. However, with Cat’s knowledge and expertise the process was easy and wonderful! Her style and confidence re-assured me that natural is beautiful and I step out with my head held high! Here we are almost 3.5 years later and my hair is the most beautiful it has EVER been in my life! I receive compliments daily and I have helped those around my embrace their own Natural Beauty by sending them to Cat. She has not succumbed to greed by having multiple clients at one time; on the majority of occasions; I am the only client in the salon. Aside from her talents as a Natural hair stylist; Cat is also a gifted seamstress, singer and artist. She has truly been a blessing to me and my hair! Also, she is now located off of Moreland Ave. and Custer.

I love Cat, I have only been to her twice now but I know that she is going to be my new natural hair stylist. I always get my hair twisted and then I take the twists out and wear a twist-out. She is now off of Moreland Avenue in Atlanta, GA. Phone numbers 404−549−9341 678−851−3195

Serendipity – my life has been filled with it since I moved to Atlanta. I stumbled upon this adorable little retro and vintage boutique/natural hair salon a few weeks back, after leaving Joe’s in EAV. I stopped to look in the window of the store, which should have been closed, according to the sign on the window. But the manager Divine unlocked the door and let me in to browse. The first thing that caught my eye was the $ 5 handbag basket, which they always have, she informed me. Also a little $ 10 rack confirmed that this store was just my speed – affordable. They have a range of vintage dresses, handbags and jewelry – some consigned. They also have an extensive collection of vintage lingerie – Divine informed me many people would wear the hot pink 50s babydoll I was eying as a dress. Works for me! I actually picked up a wine-colored maxi dress from the 70s that I’m calling my «Thelma from Good Times» dress and a blazing black move-something with a lace inset and ruching up the front that is strictly Vanity 6. They also had a collection of vintage needlework magazines for $ 5 each that I grabbed for the crochet dress patterns that look EXACTLY like what I saw at Macy’s the other day. Anyway, the vibe of the shop is eclectic and colorful and hip. In the back, owner Cat Belle does dreads, wet sets, braids, twists and all manner of natural beautification. They were out of her famous Hair Elixir, but I will be back for a blow and curl. Ms. Belle also styles India. Aries locks, so I know I’ll be in good hands. The length of this review is due to the lengthy conversation I had with these friendly ladies. Natural Beauty is now my Official Favorite Store! I won’t mind if you make it yours too. UPDATE5÷20÷2008: Driving down Moreland, I see this place is «clean as a chitlin’» as we say back home. Guess they’ve flown the coop and I will have to find a new fave store!
