Miko Jones At Salon Scenes

Miko has been my hair stylist for over 6 years. He started off with a daunting task as I needed color correction (overly treated hair) and in dire need of an updated haircut. Today my gorgeously colored hair is healthy with a fashion forward professional haircut. His coloring skills are definitely his trademark. His cuts are on mark, with no awkward growth between appointments. He is accommodating and works around my consistently changing travel schedule. He is continually updating his credentials so each visit proves to be an even better experience than the previous one, as if that is even possible! His pride in his work is evidence by his attention to detail. After every appointment, I walk out with confidence and a huge smile on my face. Without a doubt, Miko is the best hair stylist ever!

Miko is amazing!!! I have naturally curly hair and he gave me the perfect layers that added so much life to my hair. It’s hard to find someone who can work with curly hair, but Miko is the man! He also gave me gorgeous highlights. He is the only person I trust to cut and color my hair!!!

Miko knows color! He has highlighted my blonde hair beautifully for years. It’s never looked green or ashy. He’s not just good with color though; he also gives awesome cuts. Miko Jones has been doing my hair for years. He has always shown consistent, excellent work on my hair. I have blonde, very curly hair and it has been so hard to find a stylist who knows how to cut, color, and care for curly hair. Well, my fellow curly girls, look no further. Miko does fantastic highlights, the best shampoo massage, and cuts my hair to perfection every time. I can say I have never left his salon unhappy. He has so much talent at what he does, you will not regret spending time in his chair. He also has really helped me with the everyday care of my hair. From helping me pick out shampoo and conditioners to use, to actually going with me to Sally’s to pick out the right moose to use, he shows care and expertise in all things hair. Miko has been doing my hair since 2001! He was the shampoo boy at Toni & Guy when I first met him. (Anyone who has had one of his shampoos knows how wonderful they are). He quickly elevated to a color specialist and then branched out on his own so he could better service his clients.

Miko Jones has been my hairdresser extraordinaire for at least 10 years. I was fortunate to stumble upon his salon one day while I was gallery shopping in Crabapple. In the beginning, I used to tell him what I wanted done with my hair and he would happily oblige. After a few visits, while in a quandary about what I wanted, he asked «Do you trust me?» to which I replied «Yes but why?» It was then and there that I realized I not only had a friend but a GREAT hairdresser! I’ve trusted him ever since and have never been let down. He’s a wizard with his shears and absolutely unmatched in his hair coloring skills. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment with him, take it. You are going to LOVE him! :)
