Nice mix of people and styles. Definitely a nice chill spot if you want to get out and listen to music and not feel stressed about what to wear.(You can come dressed up or cute casual and still be ok). The bartender mixed the drinks on point! We had the crab cake and tacos and both were presented beautifully. I would 4sure go back and hookah !

Typical Atlanta lounge. I went 4 a friend’s party. We were n the VIP room & what I didn’t like about that setup was that the room is all the way n the bak of the club. Where was the exit? N the front. Besides that? Music was on point. Drinks on point. Hookah was a little expensive. $ 40 after 9:00. The food was good also. I would go bak. Parking…if u get lucky there r a few spots on the street, otherwise, there’s a parking deck across the street $ 10.

The décor is aesthetically great, the interior is modern, sleek and cute. The usage of space isn’t the smartest. I’ve been there over 10 times since moving to the Auburn location and each time no matter where we sat, in the booths, the«vip» area, the bar, table, wherever we always felt like we are sitting on top of random people there and getting bumped into. The space is narrow and the seating gives no allotted elbow room. The food is okay, not exceptional but not bad. Each visit, I’ve ordered something different and each time it was mediocre. The real issue is the fact that no where on their website does it mention that the age at the door is 25 or that they have a «strict» dress code. So upon inviting someone to meet us there we found out as they tried to enter that the age to enter the establishment is 25. Being that MBar is located on Auburn Avenue, in a college area on a street infested with crackheads and below a regge club that has no standards. It is a bit hard for one to assume that MBar, the restuarant would have a dress code and an age limit of 25. If this is how they want to market their establishment they should mention these entry stipulations on their website to eliminate confusion and disappointment at the door.

Very dissatisfied with the customer service there. I ordered a drink and the tacos, and as I went to pay for my order, my coat knocked over the drink by accident. The bartender was right in front of me when it happened. I didn’t even get a chance to touch the glass. She proceeded to ask me if I wanted another one, to which I said yes(I was surprised she even asked as I assumed someone with appropriate customer service skills would conjure another drink up right away). Then she said I WOULDHAVETOPAYFORANOTHERDRINK. Huh!!! She said otherwise it would come from her tip for the night. Mind you, I had already tipped her, as it was while I was signing my bill that I spilled the drink. This whole scenario had me very confused. After re-explaining what happened to the bartender(remember she was right there the whole time), I said ‘no, I do not want to pay for another drink’ and asked for the manager. It took about 20 min for the manager to come. When the manager arrived, the bartender first explained what happened and he told her to just make me another drink, no charge. Honestly, that didn’t suffice for me, as it was the fundamental lack of customer service that had me irked. As I continued to speak to the manager, he went on to say ‘she’s just doing her job’ and ‘you’re getting the drink, let’s forget about it’. I understand he was busy, with a lot going on to take care of… but for me, customer service and ensuring your patrons are satisfied is the most important part of running a successful lounge. I would not recommend anyone frequent this place, seems like bad customer service is being taught from the top.

This spot used to be located in the historic neighborhood of Castleberry Hill(Peters Street). Nothing much has really changed. My sister and I went for the food. She tried the OMG tacos(were to soggy) and I had the HITTMFN tacos. They were ok. Our waitress was aloof. She didn’t write down my drink order. I had to ask her again and she said she thought I didn’t want a drink. When I finally got the drink, it was all ice and a little alcohol(pissed cuz it was $ 10). The crowd was ok at first… till the game went off, the DJ started to play and then… the twerking began. Really? Old dusty grown women twerking in a restaurant. I was over it. We got the check and left. Probably won’t be going back.

While driving down Auburn Ave if you blink you will miss the M Bar, so make sure you keep your eyes open. If you are looking for a place to hear good music, have good drinks, and decent food this is your spot. M Bar is a true lounge. This venue is a tiny unsuspecting gem in the middle of the block. The atmosphere is chic and sexy. There are projectors and TVs all over showing a classic movie which added to the chill ambiance while I listened to the DJ play everything I like. The furniture is simple and modern it has a upscale look. The staff and management were extremely friendly and personable. Our waitress was very attentive we didn’t have to wait long for our drinks and the staff made sure your area stayed clean of empty glasses and plates. During my visit my cousin knocked a drink over on the table and without even looking for her in seconds the waitress was there to clean it up. The crowd was sophisticated and diverse. The one aspect of my visit which impressed me the most was how clean the restrooms were. There was no cover to get into the M Bar, but prices are a tad on the high end for food, and hookah. The average cost for a glass of wine is definitely more expensive here than most places. Liquor prices are average. Classy crowd, awesome dj and clean bathrooms will definitely have me coming back soon.

Hosted my boyfriend’s 27th birthday here and it was awesome. Their event coordinator was very helpful and cooperative. The venue is very clean and stylish and they have a great open floor plan. It may look small from the outside but the inside is very spacious. The vibe is very much grown and sexy. We got to reserve the back room which was more than enough space for 20 people and we were also able to decorate with balloons. Our waiter and waitress were very courteous and the wings were delicious! I definitely recommend any one to stop by for a drink if you’re in the downtown Atlanta area.

The turkey burgers were scrumptious. They had a spicy kick to them. Excellent! The available seating was nonexistent. All the tables were reserved. This spot is too tiny to even allow folks to reserve that many tables. Absolutely ridiculous. Service was good. The music was great. The waitress was attentive. The location and parking is terrible. Greeted by several vagabonds and your safety is definitely in jeopardy in this area especially as a woman. I do not recommend going alone nor driving a nice ride in this area.

Went there to watch the pats game with a friend the experience was excellent the server was a sweetheart smiled a lot and was very informative and attentive. I ordered food and drinks and it was so fresh and delicious and made to perfection which is rare in my case. The lemon pepper wings are THEEBEST wings in the city I tell you no lie and I am a picky lemon pepper eater these wings are made with love and not just fried and tossed with dry and oil rub. The fried shrimp was so tender and perfectly fried and not rubbery. the catfish fritters are also excellent moist and tender every bite and the fries were so crispy and perfectly salted. The price is worth it ! Ill most definitely be back for the food !!! The ambience and décor is also really nice and modern plenty of tvs to watch the game. For those concerned why servers add tip: when establishments like this get busy its hard to give everyone your undivided attention and guest think its something personal well its not and in that area you have to add gratuity automatically especially when you make $ 2 – 3 an hour and rely on tips but I also understand great service counts

I was invited by a close friend, who just happens to be one of the managers, for their friends and family event last night before the grand opening next month. The new M bar is ultra sexy! I’m in love with the set up. Cool colored lighting, smoke machines, large flat screen televisions showing movies. The movie of choice was Coming to America!!! #Classic…They have a VIP section with large white leather sofas, plenty of seating, large bar and an exclusive soundproof VIP room in the back. That room will be for hookahs and will have its own dj. The music was perfection! Dj ill will played GREAT hip hop and r&b. This is not a place you go to dance but I couldn’t help doing a little two step!!! The bathrooms are even cool. They have three and each one is painted by a different artist. Great for selfies. This is my new favorite lounge. The atmosphere, food, music and drinks are all top notch. The service from the staff was impeccable!!! Great place for ladies night out, date night, to have an event or go alone. Great night!!!
