I’m a traveler and wanted to try this place out because it was close to my hotel. The staff was on the phone when I walked in and was very rude with a customer on the phone. I ordered my food and the hostess was very short with me as well. I asked her why my price was different on my receipt than on the menu & she really got loud and rude. If I could give no stars I would. I definitely will not be back to this place.

My husband wanted chinese tonight so we tried this location. Placed the order online and it was hot and ready upon arrival. We ordered Vegetable Spring Rolls, Salt and Pepper Calamari, Chicken Lo Mein and Shimp Pad Thai. This price was reasonable which was great. The flavors of each item was superb. Being new to Atlanta I didn’t think I would be able to find quality Asian eats, but I believe this maybe my go to place. The spring rolls were light and crisp. The calamari was lightly breaded and the sauce was flavorful. The lo mein was cook to perfection and the pad thai was full of shimp and slightly spicy just like my husband likes it. We will visit this establishment again to determine if this is how the business is always represented.

This place is a hidden gem for both chinese food and sushi. My cousin and I actually came here two days in a row! We were actually trying to be lazy and not go too far after meeting up at starbucks right next to it. We’re like«there is a Chinese place down the strip. Maybe it’s good.» I was thinking it was a neighborhood little mart, but it’s a beautiful elegant restaurant with an awesome lounge atmosphere, good music, friendly service, and specials. They’re great for both lunch and dinner. On mondays & tuesdays they have bottomless wine apparently, one day they have $ 1 off nigiri. They have bottles of wine and awesome sushis. I have tried three different rolls and my favorite has been the kaboom roll. The I-Love-Shrimp roll was okay and and the fried bagel roll was also pretty good, but kaboom was amazing. The next day we had lunch, and they’re lunch specials are only $ 8 and come with a lot of food. I got general tso chicken, with fried rice, egg roll, tempura, soup, and a chicken wing. It was awesome quality too. I’m definitely looking forward to try this place again.

This place is walking distance for me and I usually go to this area for Starbucks or Kroger. I saw this Restaurant many time from the outside but it looked more like a fast food Chinese place. One day I decided to enter with my cousin because I saw a sign saying they serve sushi. We walked inside and realized it’s super nice and comfy. It’s definitely a sit down kind of place. They have great specials like $ 10 bottomless wine on Monday and Tuesday. They have $ 1 beer specials on Fridays and Saturdays. There are more specials but I don’t remember them all. We came for dinner, split a $ 20 bottle of wine and got sushi. It was so good! We tried 3 different types and in the end we expected a huge bill but it was actually really affordable. We liked it so much we came back the next day for lunch specials. $ 7-$ 9 for soup or salad, chicken wing, egg roll, and your choice of entrée. The food seems to be delicious and on point every time. It’s called a Chinese restaurant but surprisingly they do Japanese and Thai really well too. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I feel like they can work on their service a little more. Both times, we came on really off hours like a super late dinner and lunch we had at 2:30pm so we were the only one in the restaurant. Service was not that great for being the only one there. We had to flag down our server a few times. First time, he forgot the spicy mayo. The second time He forgot our sushi order and by the time we got him to come back, we had our entrees and didn’t really want it anymore. He was nice though and apologized for it. Overall, I will be coming back.

Ordered delivery– sooooo rude to me over the phone. I have order numerous times and eaten in the restaurant. When I requested a side of chili sauce he began to argue and say they don’t have«what is problem — we don’t have» I kept trying to explain and he just got ruder and ruder. So disappointed I loved this place.

Lucky China is my favorite sushi spot in all of Atlanta. I don’t know why I don’t go here more often! The sushi choices here are plentiful and delicious. The interior is spacious and romantic with dim lighting. I love that customers can seat themselves and there’s a large comfy booth against the wall with pillows surrounding them that is always my wife and I’d choice. It kinda reminds me of a hookah lounge. I’ve never seen it crowded, which to some might be disconcerting but I’m very thrilled about that fact. It’s nice to not have to wait around. Maybe most people don’t know about it since it’s tucked away in the Georgetown shopping center next to a bagel shop and a nail shop. The sushi is made at the back of the restaurant where you can see it being rolled. They come out quickly and I can’t stress enough how AMAZING they are. We always order a variety of rolls and try to try new ones each time. Paired with Sake and one of their yummy appetizers and you can’t go wrong. Their rice is also good. They always have great specials here too.

It is a General Tso extra spicy with steam white rice and broccoli kind of night. We are getting better at waiting for our favorite meal. It is good anytime, and we like to treat ourselves different times of the week.

I love Lucky China. Great delivery service and the delivery drivers are so nice. I see a few complaints on here about the food, but for a Chinese food place in a small strip mall you can’t beat it. The food is good and always hot whether you pick up or get delivery and you can’t go wrong with just about anything you get. Love this place and wouldn’t get Chinese delivery from anywhere else.

Ordered last minute last night and we were impressed! It came faster than they said and the food was good! We ordered the Mongolian beef, general tso chicken and crab rangoon. Not the BEST Chinese I have ever had, but it was still really good, with good prices, fast and great portion sizes! We will order again!

A cut above your strip mall Chinese place. Lunch prices are competitive and the portions are sizeable. Downing a star for no traditional hot tea, at least not as our server understood me. Still I would easily eat here again.

I highly recommend this place. Delicious food and classic interior decoration. Their sushi are really good and tasted. I specially love their chicken corn soup. It’s creamy and sweet, but not too sweet. The classic décor makes you want to stay longer.

Tried this place on a recommendation. Very good. Did on line order for pick up… Worked well, order was ready and still nice and hot when we got home… About 3 mile drive. Hoping for good place for Chinese takeout and was having a hard time finding it… Lucky China filled the bill! Ordered pork egg rolls, special fried rice, and the beef rib appetizer. All were very good. I will be back to try sushi menu for sure and will order Chinese again as well!

Despite the name«Lucky China» they probably have the best sushi in the area for the price. I have turned several of my friends on to this place(some drive all the way from Snellville to eat here). The service is always great, and they don’t skimp on portion sizes on anything. We usually come here once a month and splurge on sushi with the group of friends from work and it’s always an enjoyable meal. There have been a few times when the sushi rice is a little on the dry side, but it’s to be expected when the place is packed and they’re trying to keep up with orders. I’ve always loved the décor here. Doesn’t feel like a strip mall atmosphere at all. You can come here and have an intimate dinner with a partner, in the evening, or with a big group like ours and still feel like you’re the only people there being waited on. Overall it’s a winner in my book. One reason I’ve been coming here consistently for the past 4 years…

From the outside, looks like your typical generic strip-mall Chinese food restaurant. On entering, I was a little surprised as the décor was classier than I expected. Seemed they were trying to build a non-strip-mall ambiance. OK. Maybe this place will actually be pretty good, I thought. I’ve gotten take out from here twice. The first time, I got chicken fried rice. It was OK, but it was a little dry. But because it was the closest Chinese place to my new apartment, I decided to give them another chance. I decided to go with the General Tso’s, because it seemed like apparently one of the things they were known for. Might as well go for what’s recommended. I tried it. It was… good… not great. Better than the dry fried rice. This place is OK, but pretty much the quality I initially expected from a strip-mall place. Not particularly worth the money. I’ll keep looking around for some better Chinese that’s nearby me.

I wouldn’t feed this food to my dog. Waste of my money. I ordered for delivery and it took them over an hour and a half and the delivery guy had the nerves to ask for a tip! The food was just bad and cold. It was extremely salty! I had the fried rice and it tasted like old rice with tons of soy sauce. Also, the food isn’t cheap compared to other Chinese food around the area, I payed around $ 35 for just two entrées. I definitely would not recommend.

I’ve only had the sushi here for quick lunch orders and I’ve been pleasantly surprised with their sushi. My favorite is the Philly roll made with smoked salmon, cucumbers, mayo and I think avocado. Really good, and very refreshing. Definitely a must try.

Best Mongolian beef in the town! Nice service, neat environment~ friendly staff! They also have tasty Boston cream cake, I like that one a lot! I ordered masama curry shrimp, and it’s surprisingly good, the sauce is mild, with cashew nuts and avocado*^_^*

This review is just about their lunch special delivery! Please keep that in mind. I haven’t eaten in the restaurant yet. 1) They have so many items on their menu! It’s a bit much but good if you’re into variety, bad if you’re indecisive. 2) We ordered food for our office & all of us got the lunch special which we thought was decently priced– UNTIL we received our food. The portions are very small, seafood is spare if you order it(like 3 pieces of shrimp in my Mongolian shrimp dish), & packed in a terrible way for delivery. The lunch special comes with fried rice, a chicken wing/leg, & an egg roll. They come in a 2 part container, one side had the shrimp & the other side had the rice with the chicken wing & egg roll ONTOP so they were soggy & mushy instead of crispy the way fried items should be! The rice was also a bit mushy. The shrimp was good, just a bit too saucy in my opinion. 3) They delivered on time & their service(over the phone) was polite. Overall, might consider going to the restaurant but definite not ordering from there again!
