Great service. Great for guys too… fragrances, waxes, shaving supplies. I love they always have fresh lavender at the door.

You know how cartoon characters smell a wonderful fragrance and then they levitate by their noses, traveling towards the source? L’occitane affected me like that. I got this mega tube of hand cream, like an oil paint metal tube, which is cool right there. Inside it not burnt sienna or cobalt blue, but this delightfully light fragrance on a heavy emollient cream that somehow promptly disappears into your skin.
Visited at Christmas, very crowded, and an even more spacy person than I am was lengthily holding up the line with many questions and a somewhat tricky series of requests. The clerks could not have been sweeter or more patient with her.

Always a favorite. The founder sold essential oils at markets in Provence before starting a company named for the lovely maidens of Occitania. All products, which smell delightful and are gentle, are made by locals in Manosque. The company supports traditional cultivation methods, purchases fair traded and organic ingredients (Ecocert certified), and only use fallen shea fruit instead of destroying crops. I love their lavender and highly recommend the fresh face water.
