My wife has had more than her share of medical problems since suffering a small stroke in 2009. During the last 7 months, she was experiencing abdominal pains that led to 4 emergency room visits and one 3 day hospitalization. CT scans, X-​rays, all kinds of meds: nothing. Then, 4 weeks ago, I, as her full-​time caregiver, was disturbed by symptoms that made me feel her bowel was blocked.
