Le Dress Boutique

After reading reviews for this place, I was eager to visit! The ladies of Le Dress were very helpful and Kathy made my wedding dress experience so wonderful! I left with a dress and also a recommended tailor/​seamstress. Visit if you want to look divine on your wedding day and save some extra bucks in the process.

I’m a new bride currently in search of wedding venues and wedding dresses at the same time, want to knock as much out as possible. My fiancé and I know what type of venue we want, so we are only looking at specific venues that are available during Spring 2017. Le Dress was recommended to me, so I scheduled my appointment online. Imagine my surprise when a few days later I received what I’m assuming was a standard email from Linda at Le Dress titled «Problem with Your Appointment.» Entire email, minus signature, copied and pasted for your review:
«Lauren,
We received your Appt request for Sunday, Feb 7^th. Due to high demand for appointment times, and the fact that we sell off-​the-​rack with no ordering, our appointments are reserved for those brides who have a firm wedding date and venue within 1 year or less. When you have those details pinned down (venue and date have to do with what fabrics we recommend for the environment you will be in) then we are happy to re-​book you.
Please don’t be put off, and re-​book when you are a little further along in the planning process. Our inventory changes all the time, so its best to come when your plans are firm and you’ve shopped at least 1 full-​price bridal shop so you can compare our quality and prices.»
I guess they are a churn and burn bridal salon who cares more about the quantity of bridal appointments than the quality and planned on TELLING me what to wear instead of consulting with me. Not to worry though, Le Dress isn’t the only consignment shop in Atlanta. It’s a big city with LOTS of options and people who are happy to take my money while giving me a pleasent experience, even though I might be inconveniencing them by shopping for a dress over a year out. If you want to feel like cattle being herded through an appointment, I guess you should go to Le Dress.

We founds this little store on google. Kathy was absolutely amazing helping us find a wedding dress for our daughter’s big day. I loved that she asked the budget and wouldn’t let anyone in the party pick up a dress over the budget. She directed our daughter to only try on dresses in her size. I’d recommend anyone looking for a wedding dress to come to Le Dress.

I just had the amazing experience at Le Dress boutique with Angela. She was patient and did not pressure me to try on anything I didn’t like. I found my perfect dress for an AMAZING deal, it’s a designer label for $ 8,000 retail and I bought it for $ 1500!!! I absolutely cannot say enough good things about this fabulous establishment!!!

Unbelievably rude! I have sold and bought several things from them before and never had a problem. I put a dress up for sale and miss my contract date because I was taking care of my dying sister out of state and they will not return the dress nor will they even spend the time to talk to me on the phone! Apparently if you are not giving them money they don’t have any time for you! I can’t believe how rude and disrespectful they are! Never again!

Found my wedding dress here a couple of days ago and couldn’t be more excited!
The ladies at Le Dress were very patient and sweet giving me plenty of time with each dress, even taking pictures for me!
I would definitely recommend checking out their beautiful selection of dresses and saving yourself some money.

I had really high expectations for Le dress but, feel they feel short of them. Missy that helped us was wonderful. The problem was they didn’t have a ton of selection in my size or I felt a lot of selection (I was looking for an a line dress). I didn’t also see many name brand designers but I did see a ton of cheap bridesmaid dresses. I wouldn’t waste my time unless you had an incredibly open mind…

The only reason I am giving this establishment 1 star is because there was a very sweet young lady that stepped forward to assist us. Might I add that she was also black as I and my little sister are. But I digress. Upon arriving from another Bridal Store who recommended this place, we were informed that they only do appointments upon walking in, which we respected but due to the fact that we were coming from such a great distance, the young lady abliged and allowed us to browse through their dresses so we could make an appointment for a later date. While looking one of the other sales ladies asked us to step back so that her Bride could look through the rest of the dresses in her size and that I should remember where I left off so that once her bride finished looking I could continue to look. I have never been so hurt nor offended in my life. I removed my gloves and handed them gently to the young lady that started to assist us. I will not return and will continue to make noise about establishments that treat customers so poorly.

I had less than a week to get a wedding dress and Angela at Le Dress was able to help me find a dress I feel in love with! She listened to what I needed and encouraged me to try items according to my tastes and situation. I’m so pleased with my experience and will refer friends as well.

I can not begin to express what a wonderful experience shopping at Le Dress Boutique was. Upon entering the shop my mom and I were greeted warmly by Angela and Linda. They asked for my budget and dress size and then quickly got to work. This is one of the first dress shops that didn’t make me feel as if I would somehow have to compromise if I wanted an inexpensive dress. The ladies at Le Dress took my budget and ran with it, never attempting to upsell me or make me feel guilty for not spending thousands on a dress.
After trying on about four dresses we came across the absolute perfect dress for me. I was able to get a dress that was typically $ 1,500 for just over $ 700! I can’t wait to get this dress fitted and wear it on my wedding day! My message to other brides is, don’t think you can’t find the dress of your dreams on a budget! With the help of Le Dress Boutique you too can walk away feeling like a million bucks.
Just a few tips:
1) White gloves are awesome, they may not look cute, but they help keep the dresses in pristine condition.
2) Look online first and let them know if there are any dresses in particular that you want to try.
I cannot thank the Le Dress Boutique family enough! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I did not have the best experience trying on wedding dresses at Le Dress. Very disappointing because I was so excited to visit this store!!!
Missie was my consultant and she was wonderful at helping me try on dresses (she was the best part about my trip to Le Dress!). However, when I arrived Missie asked me my size and I said that I was a bridal size 8 or 10, depending on the dress. Mind you this was my fourth dress shop so I knew my bridal size by this point. Well, the woman at the front desk heard me say I fit into size 8, and came over to get involved. After feeling around my ribs she announced there was no way I was a size 8, that I didn’t know what I was talking about because dress shops only have size 10 so it was impossible that I had even tried on a size 8. I assured her I had, but she very condescendly said that I was wrong and that I was only allowed to try on sizes 10 and 12. I was not even allowed to try on the 8s!
It was an unfortunate encounter that put a dark cloud over what should have been a joyous experience.
P. S. I just bought my dress from another store. Size 8.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Le Dress Boutique today. Kathy was extremely helpful and respected our budget by not pushing me to try on dresses that exceeded the bottom line. They have an incredible selection and even more incredible prices. After picking out 5 dresses, I fell in LOVE with a 2013 Manuel Mota dress and immediately knew it was the one! The best part was that I found it on clearance for $ 3,600 less than the retail price!
I am absolutely thrilled to have this dress for my August 2016 wedding and am so thankful for a fun, low-​stress experience at LDB. I highly recommend this bridal consignment shop to any bride-​to-​be!

Found this wonderful little boutique online! Could not have been more pleasantly surprised. Kathy and Angela were so helpful! I needed a formal gown for a black tie affair in Vegas coming up next month. I had just begun my shopping and found The absolute perfect dress almost right away! Angela was so helpful and seemed to know right away what would work on me and what wouldn’t! Perfect dress, perfect accessories! And even though I wasn’t looking for a wedding down, I can assure you that if you are, this is the place to go!

As a second time bride, and having previously worked at a formalwear shop and for wholesale companies, I was skeptical of both prices and the typical «sales pitch». I spoke with Angela on the phone and she was so upbeat and friendly. I had a 1pm appointment and didn’t leave until they closed by choice! Angela not only stayed within my budget but found me my DREAM dress after only trying on 3 that I had saved 1000 pictures AND the dress was HALF of my budget. They take excellent care of their clients and dresses. Although it says consignment shop, I was pleasantly surprised to find that 90% of their bridal gowns are brand new/​never worn. Huge plus! Also I got 5% off my dress for buying it the same day.
I had my mom meet me at the shop a few hours later that day and not only did she and Angela hit it off (mom is a very picky, old school and hard woman to please) but Angela had my mom trying on mother of the bride dresses within minutes and we even found two great choices for mom who has refused to dress shop for her for the past several months. I cannot go on enough about how down to earth, real, and fun Angela was to work with. I never felt pressured and the environment was comfortable. This is truly a hidden gem and these ladies get an A++ for service, range of dresses to choose from, current trends and styles, meeting customers needs and flexibility. OH! If you’re dress needs alterations they have 3 great places that specialize in wedding dresses and they are all close to the shop. They actually recommend you take your gown and get a quote so you find the best deal (mine needs a lot of the length and bust taken in so I was thrilled to hear that I would find a deal on alterations too) I will absolutely recommend Le Dress to friends and hopefully be back soon to find rehearsal dinner and mother of the groom dresses! A friend of mine told me about Ledress as a place to find a special occasion dress. I was pleasantly surprised with the number of options I had to choose from! I ended up buying a great dress for about ½ of retail and have gotten lots of compliments.
Great service, no pushy sales people and great prices for high end dresses. Definitely my new «go to» place for dresses for special occasions!
And, I’m going to take some of my «worn once» dresses to consign.

I had a horrible experience here. I felt so rushed. My appointment was at 4:00 on a Saturday. No other brides were there trying on dresses. I brought my two beauties and my mom with me.
Upon walking in I immediately felt like the lady was rushing me. I believe she said her name was Kathy. Idk. And older lady!!! She definitely seemed to know what she was doing. Knew what she was talking about. Already had me sized up before I even had to tell her my size. That’s why I gave the two stars. However, after choosing some dresses, maybe 15 mins after 4:00, I asked if we could wait maybe 2 mins before trying on cause my mom was running a bit late. She said ‘uh no honey, we need to go ahead and get started, we close at 5.‘That was it for me.
I put in the first dress. She said, ‘do you love it?’ I maybe had it on for 2 seconds. I had no idea. I barley had it on. She wouldn’t let me walk out to show my entourage if I didn’t ‘love’ it. She had me in and out of dresses so fast I couldn’t even think about whether I liked it or not. I don’t even think my family even had time to process if they liked them or not.
The lady told me hat their appointments are only one hour. This to me doesn’t feel like it is adequate time for trying on dresses.
My recommendation for any brides — -go anywhere else before here. Either that or go early, I guess.

I went here for a last ditch effort to find a dress for a black tie wedding on the same day. This is the perfect shop for Prom Dresses! This is my second year at Le Dress shopping for my daughters Prom. Each dress is unique, the prices are reasonable and the staff really turned the job of finding a dress for prom into a really fun experience! The staff really cares about their customers and it shows from the moment you walk through the door. I will definitely go back again next and the year after and then I will be done with prom!!!

I live in Chicago, and I was searching for my dress for cheaper when I saw that Le Dress had the dress on consignment. I emailed Linda, and we talked on the phone and she said she could take some pictures for me to review and then if I agreed she would send the dress!
I was a little skeptical purchasing a bridal gown from Atlanta without being able to see it in person, but I am glad I went ahead and bought it.
The pictures looked great and the dress was amazing when I received it in person, it only took 3 days to get here! Everything was exactly what was described. The dress itself was brand new, no dirt on the hem, no smell in the armpit area, all the lace looked beautiful! It was totally worth purchasing this dress as I saved myself almost $ 2000.
I only deducted a star based on the customer service I received. I wouldn’t say it was a horrible experience, but I definitely think Linda could have been a little more warm in our conversations, and little more relaxed. The dress was amazing and for that reason I wouldn’t be too concerned about the customer service. It’s totally worth checking this place out!

Another solid 3.5 for dress shopping experiences, but I have to round up to 4 since I found «my dress» here.
The most important factor for Le Dress shopping is that it’s a consignment store, so the prices just can’t be beat. It’s an unfortunate fact that a lot of dresses are ordered and never make it down the aisle. And apparently it’s now trendy to wear a wedding dress for half of one day of your life, because only one day just wasn’t little enough. The fortunate fact is that there are some incredible dresses that have never been worn or have barely been worn just waiting to be loved by a bride for a day.
Some girl ordered a dress that costs as much as an engagement ring from the store that’s on tv (Yeah, you know the one. Check out their Unilocal reviews to see if you’d like to work with them from start to finish. I’ve heard the same thing from friends about their experiences that I’ve read in the reviews from strangers.) Then she decided that the dress didn’t work with her venue, so she bought another. Sucks for her and great for me! I got a not-​possible-​otherwise price on a brand new, never-​been-​worn designer gown. My dress feels lighter than cotton candy– I’ve said in other review from the dress shopping process that you really should never try on a dress outside of your price range because there really is a difference in fabric quality and feel. So it’s awesome to put on a lighter than air over budget dress and have it actually be in budget.
They do require that you wear gloves while trying on dresses to preserve the integrity (you’re not trying on samples that can be trashed, so I thought this was completely reasonable and respectful). Since Le Dress is a consignment shop, they either have a dress that you like in your size range or they don’t. It’s totally worth checking out since the deals are so great. (Although I’ll be looking into other tailors because their recommendations for alterations are beyond the expensive end of the reasonable wedding dress alteration spectrum.) And did I mention that I found my dress there? YAY!
