Lane Bryant

I typically love shopping. This store had so few options– even from the lane Bryant I went to a week ago. The ladies working here are super lazy. One trying on shoes and lunging on the bench drinking her Starbucks. The other was the absolute slowest cashier I’ve ever had an experience with. And she let someone cut me in line even though she already acknowledged me and why I was here (return). I mean it shouldn’t take 20 minutes to check out two people. I’ll never be back here. This Es seriously a painful shopping experience for me.

These ladies working here are so lacksadasical it makes me want to drive to kennesaw just to get better customer service! Ugh so frustrating how slow they move and dont acknowledge you when your standing at the front desk jist to ask a question or get into a room!
Go to another location quick! This is like the 5^th time i have had this experience. They dont even pretend to care about helping you.

I went to the store specifically to shop the Cacique collection. I am not plus sized, but I am pretty busty. I was looking for some cute lingerie to fit my figure. Unfortunately, I learned that, at least in the store, they are not really targeting my size. They target those that are busty and have a larger frame. Found plenty of items in my cup size, but not my band size. :-(Bummer. They have a number of cute items. Select items from the website. If you are looking for a particular item, you may have better luck online. Prices were decent. Sale items more so. I ended up finding one bra that worked for me that was on sale/​clearance. The staff just let me roam the store which worked fine. Wish they had more items for me.

I wish I could give this place no stars. Horrible customer service and very rude employees. There are plenty of other excellent Lane Bryant’s all around the country (and many other great plus size shops around), but DEFINITELY avoid this one.

I say it loud the employees at this location are horrible! They didn’t even acknowledge my friend and I the entire time we were shopping, we waited several minutes to try on merchandise. Then treated us like criminals asking how many. We walked out of course and will never return! Oh and they weren’t busy.
P. s. I hope the owner will realize this may be why sales are down.

This location was once one of the best shopping experiences around for big gals like me, but now, it is rife with inexperienced sales associates and poor customer service. It seems that they have a lot of turnover too. A couple of years ago, there was a manager named Caitlin who was amazing. She could always be depended on to put together a beautiful outfit, offer words of encouragement for something I was iffy on, but really looked great on me, and she was honest if something didn’t work well with my figure. I used to love shopping at this particular location and I would drive there, even though the Perimeter store is much closer to me. Unfortunately, those days are gone.
I was in this particular store just yesterday. I purchase a lot of items online and go into the store to pick them up. I was returning some pieces yesterday and the girl who was helping me told me she would have to send the clothing back to the warehouse and I would have to wait for my credit. I have NEVER had this experience before, so when I questioned her about it, she told me it was a new policy. I asked her how long it had been going on and she said she’d only been there for 3 months, so she didn’t know, but it has been at least that long. I have been shopping with LB for almost 20 years now, so I’m pretty sure I know a thing or two about their policies, much more than some snippy sales associate who has only been working there for 3 months. I ended up calling the Perimeter store to see if they would accept the return and credit my account immediately and I went there today to get that done.
It’s just sad that I had to sit in traffic for 2 hours to go to a store that used to have amazing customer service only to be disappointed. I wish they would bring Caitlin back. She was awesome! But if they can’t do that, I really wish they would make sure their sales associates are properly trained in policies and that they really know how to provide the superior customer service patrons expect and deserve.

I dislike shopping with a passion — especially for clothing. I don’t like to spend money, I don’t like trying things on, I don’t like pushy salespeople. That being said…
This store has some of the nicest, friendliest and lest pushy salesfolk around. The store is always neat and tidy (no clothes strewn all over creation) and the staff is quick to help you find something when you need. Understand, not all Lane Bryant stores are this good. Something about this location is special.
The clothes are great and they often have great sales BOGO half off, etc. If you happen to grab something that is a part of a deal, when you check out, the gals are quick to tell you if you are leaving money on the table. Occasionally, someone might be a little «in your business» about signing up for their store credit card, but I’m sure that is coming from Corporate, so I try not to count off for that.
One day, I hope to not need their «sizes,» but I will be sad to return to the world of regular gal clothes — no one is as nice as the ladies here.

My review is for this location, not necessarily for Lane Bryant as a clothing supplier. I’ve just had too many bad customer service issues at this location that I just purchase most of my stuff online now.
My first time I came to this location should have been my tip off (but I work close by and it’s too convenient on my lunch break to pop in and browse). I was purchasing several pieces of clothing, and the cashier asked me if I would buy her some panties. Jigga what? I told her she could use my left over coupons I wasn’t using, but she took that to mean I was BUYING her panties, so she left the register (my transaction still unfinished) and ran over to the lingerie section to start picking out panties. To which the other cashier got upset and asked me «you really going to buy her panties». Um No, she can have my unused coupons, and that’s it. The cashier then came back and said she was just playin’, but seriously, I’m on a lunch break, I don’t have time for these kind of shenanigans.
Then the last time I came in was to return some items I bought online that didn’t fit. The cashier (different one) took forever cuz she said I brought the wrong receipt. I gave her EVERYTHING that came in the bag, so I don’t know how I didn’t bring her the right receipt. After 20 minutes and phone calls to her manager, I asked her if she was sure she got the right receipt from the bag, cuz I gave her the whole bag with the receipt, and sure enough, she had thrown the receipt away being careless and wasted 20minutes of my time and created a line behind me. At least she apologized and didn’t ask me to buy her underwear.
LB, I like your clothes, but I don’t love the service at this location. Please improve!

I now refuse to shop at this location on Howell Mill. I have had a number of issues with this store since my original post. 1. I had a coupon for $ 30.00 off. It was a reward coupon that is really common at LB. For some reason there was something wrong with the bar code and it wasn’t working. The associate said I couldn’t use it. This really annoyed me. I went to another store and used it just fine. 2. The same associate told me that I could only make a return at the store I purchased from. I KNOW this is not LB policy, but the associate refused to make my return and I had to drive 10 miles to the LB I purchased from. 3. I was in the store last weekend and it was a mess. The line to check out were forever long and the associates were being particularly slow and unhelpful, especially the associate that I have had problems with in the past. I now refuse to go to this store. I will drive out of my way to Perimeter or to the Akers Mill location.
