Had a great time with my family that came to celebrate their anniversary. Chef Tony was awesome! The food was great and the atmosphere was welcoming. Will definitely go back again.

So, this was my first time having hibachi in Georgia and I believe I’m… HOOKED! I tried a hibachi place closer to my house a couple days after I visited this place and it was SORRY! I made myself want Kobe even more. When we walked in the décor put me at ease. Dark around us but luminous lights. We were able to sit at a table around our own grill since our party was fairly large. The dinner felt more personal and a little more intimate than usual. Our first chef kind of bounced on us because some of my friends were a difficult — but hey, we can’t control allergies, guy! That kind of made us look around and were a little tiffed but nonetheless our next waitress was fantastic and so was our new chef! We were able to all talk without having to yell. They sang happy birthday to the man of honor and we all got sherbet in the end! I got some yummy yummy rolls. AMAZE-BALLS! They were fried just right and had a little eel sauce and yummy yummy drizzled on top. I didn’t get my own hibachi meal because I figured I could eat off my husband’s plate — which I did. His steak was so tender and the fried rice tasted really good. Overall, this was a great first experience and I’ll be back very, very soon! Plus, the 15% off when you check in makes the food taste THAT much better!

Kicking off my birthday weekend, I decided to come to Kobe’s Friday afternoon and left with much higher expectations. First let me say Kobe’s gives you a mixture of Japanese, Thai, Chinese and Steak. I ordered the hibachi chicken and shrimp(lunch special) and my mother ordered the Pad Thai. When we received our entrees we were not too impressed. As I have been to many Japanese steakhouses, I can easily say it’s not one I would go to over what I know. The sushi was extremely good and fresh. We ordered the Alaskan roll, which was well prepared. I also enjoyed the mushroom soup. I would definitely return for soup and sushi. It’s a family friendly spot for lunch, and is great for people in a large party that has a taste for different foods.

the food is really not good. Plain and flavorless. Didn’t try the hibachi grill though.

Like! Came in for late Sunday Lunch. Bento Boxes are a really good deal. Teriyaki is not too salty.

Clean, nice environment I am always pleased with my food, the only issue I see there is if you dislike something ordered, management is called over and I feel like I am in kindergarten all over again trying to explain and convince him that I am not pleased with the food, and even then he argues with you saying the food is ok, nope I am telling you I don’t like it, and then there is an attitude to give me another order, they don’t even come back to find out if you’re ok afterwards… management sucks when it comes to you being unhappy about a plating.

«Meh. I’ve experience better.» They manage to screw up my orders EVERYSINGLETIME. Once, they put crab in my Philadelphia roll why? «The chef doesn’t know what he is doing” — waitress That doesn’t inspire confidence if you ask me. This is not a single occurrence. Literally. every. since. time. Pro: décor is cute Con: poor communication, frustrating service, lack of interest on behalf of management to improve The food? Meh. not decent enough for me to be frustrated. Rather go to buford highway farmers market and buy sushi grade fish and make it at home instead

Enjoyed a very nice dinner at Kobe House this Thursday! The staff was SO friendly, and the sushi chef obviously put effort into our beautiful sushi arrangement. The Tokyo roll and Spicy 2-in-1 roll were delicious. Saketini was tasty, but very sweet. There were several birthday parties going on in the private hibachi rooms, and we really enjoyed sitting at the sushi bar. We’ll definitely be back!

We came to check it out and we were surprised. It’s a nice restaurant, with friendly staff. The cooker was funny and the food was very good. My son had the steak and he said it was very good. I had the salmon but I thought it was too sweet but it wasn’t bad, I just feel like not having it again. My husband had the shrimp which was very good too. The veggies were well cooked, in some hibachi this doesn’t happen often. But the most delicious was the fried fried. Very tasty! At the end you can also have some sorbet(free). And the best part, if you check in on Unilocal you get 15% OFF

Came to Kobe House on a Saturday night for a friend’s birthday dinner. There was 16 of us, so we got a private room in the back with 2 Hibachi grills. We brought a cake for our friend and the servers were very helpful in helping me store it in the back until after dinner. The décor is nice, the restaurant is clean, and the food/drinks are great with pretty standard prices for a Japanese steakhouse(maybe even a little less). They were having an issue with there monetary processing system, so the manager came to apologize for the inconvenience and to make sure that everyone’s ticket was accurate. Always a plus when the manager gives a damn. Lol. They also honor their 15% discount if you check-in on Unilocal,so download the app. My only beef with the overall experience was the chef on our side of the room. The first chef showed up and started cooking for our group on one half of the room right away. The chef for our side didn’t show up until maybe 15 – 20 minutes after the first chef! When he came out, he was quite lively and joked a lot, which was cool… until it got out of hand. Look… I’m all for a dirty joke, but this guy just got unprofessional. He made 1 or 2 which was funny at first, but then he continued throughout the duration while he was cooking. It got to the point where it was just… awkward. BUT… he did do an amazing job on the food though. All in all… great spot for some hibachi. Just didn’t care for the our chef’s demeanor.

We had hibachi and loved it. Between the three of us we got each meat their offer and not one of us had a complaint about one bite of it. The chefs are funny. I was a little bummed ours was not as lively. He did a couple of the standard tricks and cracked a couple of jokes. He was very shy, but could cook so all was well. The staff was great. Our server ran all over the restaurant bringing us different hot sauce variations. The inside of the place is great. You forget you are in a strip mall next to a dollar store.

I really enjoyed this place. I came here after the movies with some friends. I was wowed because I didn’t expect it to be as nice as it was. The décor was very contemporary and the facility was clean. The first things I look at because it’s kind of hard to eat when your eyes keep scanning hidden crevices to ensure no four or more legged friends emerge from them. Customer service was very good. Everyone was friendly. Our waitress(can’t remember her name) was genuinely nice and even joked and interacted with the two children at our grill. Because regardless of how annoying kids can be when they are out(the ones near us were very mannerly) it’s kind of warming to see them be addressed and not treated like second class citizens. After all, their food is being paid for like everyone else. Ok. Enough tangents and wayward rants. The food was very yummy. It was priced like any other hibachi grill. Well actually, maybe a bit cheaper, in comparison to Benihanna’s. My entire meal including tax and tip was a few cents short of $ 20.(TIP: If you check in on Unilocal, you get 15% off) The grill ‘show’ was fun and intriguing as usual. The food was plentiful and very flavorful. They even have a photo op /cutout set up to take pics with friends. Very cute. This place is now on my radar. Can’t wait to come back.

I came here with friends after visiting Movie Tavern. We were debating about where to eat. I suggested FujiYa(because I’ve been there multiple times), but my friends insisted that I try Kobe. Kobe Steakhouse is almost a hidden gem. It’s in the Publix shopping center and somewhat easy to miss. The wait to be seated was short and I loooooove the décor. The prices are pretty standard for hibachi. The staff was friendly and the food was decent. I give it 4 stars because the rice was a little on the crunchy side and there was a small delay in our chef coming to the table. Make sure you check the Unilocal app before paying(15% off your bill when you check in)! I would definitely come back and I think I’ll try the sushi next time.

Waiting for my to go order I placed :45 minutes ago. Bartender girl is clueless on where my order was. The hostess who takes the phone orders failed to pass this order in paper to correct person. Finally someone asks if I want anything to drink in which I already asked for a Thai ice tea they then charged me for. Observing she is also making other drink mistakes as well. Not sure I’ll be coming back. Obviously bartender girl is tired and needs a vacation or something.
