Absolutely love, love, love this store! We were out and about with some time to use up and found this lovely store. Such awesome and unique items for all children of various ages. All items are high quality in my opinion. Staff was extremely friendly; a very pleasant atmosphere.
They also provide kids hands on experience with featured items being displayed. Seeing this is super close and we are not from the area, we will be back again very soon. If you are in the area I would suggest visiting; you never know what little treasure you might find.

Great little store for kid’s novelties and gifts. We found the perfect gift for our 12 year old son. The owner and staff were very friendly, and they even wrapped our gift for free, and an extremely nice gift wrapping. They also have a cool rewards program. Definitely will return.

I love, love, LOVE this store. What a breath of fresh air! In a world of kid toys filled with cheap plastic and uninspired design, Kazoo has somehow managed to find the most fun, unique, and quality toys I have ever seen. The products are all so neat and in most cases truly educational. Best of all, Whitney & Joe (the owners, who are always there and welcome you with a smile) are a wealth of information and can help guide you to developmentally appropriate toys for whatever age child you are shopping for.
They have a great range of prices, with most of their stuff being under $ 30 — I don’t know why Unilocal gives them $$. It seems like we have a birthday party every weekend these days, so I am always running by to grab something at the last minute. I usually don’t like to pay more than $ 15 – 20 for these and there are a million options in that price point. Plus, if I am running behind, I can call in and tell them the age & gender of the child and they can make suggestions over the phone and have the gift wrapped and waiting for me when I get there. I recently discovered that they ship, so I have started using them for out-​of-​state family gifts as well. I love that the gift wrap is included for free. They have really fun events throughout the year as well (like Santa’s reindeer — REAL reindeer — at Christmas time).
If you have been looking for something more unique and higher quality than the junk they sell at TRU, this is it. The fantastic products coupled with the wonderful, hands-​on customer service really sets Kazoo above the rest!

This is exactly what I want when I am going into a toy store! The staff are friendly, they have a wide breadth of toys for every age and most importantly they aren’t all plastic. Yeah, I admit, I’m that weird mom who doesn’t wanna buy her kid a ton of plastic toys. Part of it is that they are ugly and I don’t wanna look at them all day and the other is that all that plastic is horrible for the environment and while I do buy her some plastic toys, I try to really limit it for there two reasons. Ok now, enough about my weird preference and onto my experience.
Went in on a Saturday and was promptly greeted. Had a chance to look around a bit and the gal who greeted us came back around to ask if we had any questions. By now we had decided that we needed help narrowing down our choices as they had too many cool things. So we asked her to help us and boy did she ever. She was very knowledgeable about the age groups they toys were appropriate for, what the toys were made of, if there was a better option for what we were looking for and most importantly, she didn’t push us! She interacted with us and our daughter respectfully and helped us pick out great toys our daughter loves.
Overall we had a great experience and if you’re looking for fun toys for your little ones or friends and don’t enjoy toys r us or Elmo then this is a great shop.

Most children’s toys today are poorly made, movie-​themed junk. It’s rare to find a store with toys that excite and engage children… and their parents. We’ve already made plans to come back at Christmas and do most of our shopping here. Wonderful store!

There is simply no other toy store experience like Kazoo in Atlanta right now. It harkens back to a previous era of customer service with knowledgeable staff — and with toys that are educational-​and-​entertaining — that is missing in the city. I’ve been by a few times and appreciate the direct interaction with the owners who truly care about maximizing your experience. They make the shopping experience not only painless and efficient, but fun-​and-​engaging. They have helped to identify the perfect present on several occasions.
And, they wrapped my Christmas presents for free while I continued to shop.

This place is a breath of fresh air! I’m really over the choices at the other chain toy stores or the lack thereof! The sales girl inside luckily had a toddler at home, and was able to point me in the right direction! Pretty much bought everything she recommended (within reason) and so glad i did after seeing my son so indulged! Bring your big girl wallet!

My friend told me that I had to see this place and she was right! The selection of toys is unlike anything I’ve seen at any other toy store. There are interesting fun toys, learning toys, imagination stuff… everything you could want. It’s the best place to pick out a unique gift for your child or any child on your list!
I picked up a few toys for my son’s 5^th birthday… and ones that were NOT on his birthday list. But every single one he has loved and spent a lot of time playing with and learning from!
The staff was very helpful in recommending gift ideas, but also gave me time to browse when I asked for it. They also wrapped everything nicely for me, one more thing I don’t have to do!
I highly recommend checking out this shop!

This is a great store with a variety of toys for babies up to, I’d say 12 or so — maybe into the early teens depending on the child’s interest. The displays are well-​organized and kid-​friendly, and they have a number of toys out for the kids to play with.
The staff are friendly, and happy to help you find something or just let you browse. There are no video games here, but there are plenty of toys that encourage your child to use his or her imagination. You’ll notice some familiar pieces, such as Legos, and some toys you probably don’t see anywhere else. Girls and boys alike will love the offerings Kazoo has.
Prices range from $.50 to $ 70 and more, so there are plenty of options. Not only do I encourage you to consider this store the next time you need a birthday or other gift, but also for any type of goody bag items. You’ll find plenty of small toys here in the less than a dollar range, and they appear better made. You know, quality over quantity!
Plus, it’s great to shop local. So, next time you’re near the Chastain Park area, stop in. The staff are friendly, the store is inviting, and you’ll leave with something the kid in your life will love!

This is a really cute toy store in the same parking lot as Panera. There are a few other specialty stores surrounding it including a children’s clothing boutique so Kazoo fits in nicely. The staff were friendly but not overbearing. They allowed me to explore their store without constantly asking if I need help, but were easily available if I had questions. This store has a lot of wooden and educational toys, as well as vintage style toys (kaleidoscope, parachute men, marbles). I will be returning soon :)
