I brought my 5 stone wedding band in to get sized down a half size and replated in rhodium. Todd told me I also needed to have the prongs re tipped, so I said sure, go ahead. My ring started as a little under a size 8, and it was supposed to be sized to a 7.25. When I picked my ring up, it had been sized to a 4.25! They cut out a lot of gold and made my thick band thinner to fit a 4.25. Without very much of an apology they said I needed to leave it again and they would make it right. When I picked my ring up, it didn’t look right, they tried to take it back and fix it while I waited, but it still looked really sloppy. I didn’t want it screwed up more, so I just said it’s fine and took it. Then they charged me full price for their shoddy work! I should have spoken up and said something(my fault, but I had already been there a while with my 2 and 3 year olds), so I paid the $ 255 dollars and left. I would NOT recommend taking any jewlery here for them to work on. There is obviously poor communication between the staff(why didn’t someone say hmm… it seems odd to size a ring from an 8 to a 4… Maybe I should double check?), and poor quality of work. Plus they are definitely in the more expesive side.

H&A was my first and only choice for a diamond when it came time to propose to my girlfriend this year. Haim and his staff are first class when it comes to diamonds in Atlanta. I felt comfortable knowing I was getting the best deal possible for my money, and Marta went above and beyond to help create the ring of my fiancé’s dreams!

Awful owner. Very poor customer service. Might be a decent wholesaler but doesn’t belong in retail. Also, they deleted my review. So I’m writing again. And will continue to post to ward off the educated shopper.

I’ve been buying jewelry at H & A for years. I have referred tons of friends to H & A. They have made so many pretty pieces for me and the service is spectacular. I had diamond earrings from my grandmother that I wanted made into a ring and a necklace. The saleswoman worked with me and gave me so many good suggestions. I went back numerous times for over a year… and they were super patient with me until I found exactly what I wanted. I always have a chance to talk with the owner, Haim, and he is delightful and knowledgable. Natasha is so patient and a huge help! I have bought jewelry from the case, I have had jewelry remade, repaired and changed. I have added diamonds into things that didn’t originally have diamonds, and moved diamonds from one piece to another. Whatever I want– they are able to do! My son had a custom-made engagement ring made for his wife… and it came out absolutely gorgeous! Not a day goes by that I don’t get a compliment on one of my rings that I bought at H & A! The sapphire is clear and gorgeous… and everyone notices! I recently helped a friend buy an engagement ring for his fiancé. He was shocked at the high quality of the diamond that he was able to get and for a very good price… much better than his friend’s jewelry store! Ha! I highly recommend H & A! I honestly don’t think you’ll find better quality or better prices anywhere! Go and visit this hidden gem!

I have to give credit where credit it due. As you can see this whole ring experience has been a bit of a nightmare, but I have a positive update to report. I went back as a last ditch effort to give H&A one more chance and I am really glad that I did. Certain diamonds in my wedding band had taken a grayish color and I wanted to confirm if it needed cleaning and to once again express my husband and I’s unhappiness with the ring. I worked with a great new employee, long blond surname is totally escaping me), and she brought me in to meet with the owner. He assessed my ring and was very unhappy with how it was crafted, sized, and the diamonds within the band. He asked if the sizing had been done there to which I replied, no, because I now live in Florida. He said, ‘I am glad to hear that because whoever did it, did a terrible job, but I am still not completely happy with how the ring was crafted.’ So in further looking at the ring, he realized the ring was sized with a mix of white and yellow gold and my ring is a platinum eternity band(so the sizing is inside my band since you cannot cut into an eternity band.) The place that I had it sized here, offered to size it in gold because it would be much cheaper and no one would see it anyway. I thought difference of a couple hundred dollars and no one is going to see it. why not?! Apparently, according to the owner at H&A, you cannot solder gold to platinum because you have to do it at such a high heat that it burned the diamonds in my eternity band. Who knew!!! I surely did not and neither did the swanky jeweler that I dealt with in Winter Park here in Florida(I dealt with the owner there too.) I could not remember if the diamonds had the grayish hue before I got the ring sized or not. So at first he thought they were black diamonds and then he realized the diamonds were burned in the sizing process most likely. He said that he was not thrilled with the construction as a whole and would reach out to the vendor and see what they would do. He could not make any promises and with it being a year later, he thought the vendor would refuse. He was going to fix it regardless and would eat some of the cost on his end if necessary. I received a call that week that their vendor was going to redesign the ring for the exact size of my finger to avoid having to size it… and at no cost to me! I could not believe it! I went and picked it up a few weeks later and it’s perfect! I am so happy that I went back that one last time and the sales rep had the fortitude to put me in front of the owner. They really are so knowledgeable about their business and diamonds. I have learned a lot in this experience and my opinion of H&A has done a complete 180. I am happy to know information about my rings that I did not know before, and I will never let anyone work on them except H&A. They really did not have to make it right when the grey in the diamonds was most likely the result of another jeweler’s error but I appreciate that he owned his displeasure in how the band was crafted and totally made it right for us. We are so happy with the final product!

This is a hidden jewel of a jewelry store. I have been told that you must be referred here. Tell them that I referred you! My finance and I were looking for engagement rings and I swear I went everywhere! I just wasn’t sure what I liked and was just blown away by the prices. I worked with Claire and she was outstanding. She was very patient with me and helped me find exactly what I wanted. You absolutely cannot beat the quality and the prices at H&A. I refer everyone I know there. From now on any fine jewelry I buy will be from H&A.

If you haven’t been, you MUST. I have been a customer of H&A for over 10 years. I have never been disappointed. Quality is remarkable and the prices are unbeatable. I constantly«price shop» for fear that I may have become too complacent with my relationship with H&A and do not want to ASSUME that they are the best price. But they ALWAYSARE. And they can custom make ANYTHING. I am picky, and they always get it right. Love that piece you saw in the Tiffany & Co. catalog — guarantee they can replicate it for a fraction of the price.
