Pretty decent, especially at these prices, but not my favorite Mediterranean food in town. I got the falafel wrap with a side of grape leaves. The grape leaves were from a can, 4 to a side, pretty standard stuff. The falafel bites themselves were great, but the tahini lacked any punch and the lettuce was iceberg. Combined with a so-so pita it just didn’t hit the spot. Then again, for 6 bucks I can’t complain.

I think my latest ITSPOTS are little places that many would consider shacks. While there may not be that much décor and it is hidden in a shopping center with CVS, don’t dismiss it based on its looks because it packs QUITE A PUNCH. My favorite is the gyro wrap. The meat is so tender and the sauce is on point, and the portion is amazing/just right. To top it off, they dont charge you buckhead prices; its actually reasonable!!! You gotta come give this place a try: D

Ordered the chicken kebob plate for lunch, 10 minute wait to get the food, not much of a crowd. The chicken tasted good(guess it was the herbs and marinade), however, it was not as juicy as I would have liked. I got the Baba Ghanooj and the Lentil Rice for the sides. The Baba Ghanooj was up to the mark. The Lentil rice tasted good, however, it was too oily for my liking.

The best kept secret on Peachtree but, not if we keep talking about it. It’s tucked away behind the CVS and directly across from Piedmont Hospital. They have a nice little outdoor dining area as well as limited seating indoors. The food is prepared fresh daily and the consistency is excellent. Lamb Gyro with sides of spinach salad(cold, chopped with garlic and feta) and foul(chickpeas with lemon and parsley) with a drink is under $ 10. and the chicken wings, huge! Lemon pepper is to die for. YUM! I eat here at least once a month.

I love little local and fresh lunch spots, and this hits the spot for that! I also love Greek food. The display of salads and sides offer an array of authentic choices. Do not expect fancy surroundings or food as that is not the purpose of this restaurant. Delicious, fast, and cheap! Friendly staff, family-owned and operated. Can’t beat it! Great patio too! While I was there an employee of a nearby(admittedly delicious) Greek chain restaurant came in and ate(dressed in her work outfit). That’s saying something. I had the chicken gyro, fries, and side Greek salad. My only complaint – and this is not a big deal – is the Greek salad side was extremely small. But I didn’t need a ton since the gyro was large!

Fancy patio umbrellas. The food’s still very good(and I think there is a different fry seasoning so even more delicious for you salt-lovers like me) but now there are schmancy-casual-ish yellow umbrellas on regular tables and hightops out front. Very cool for a sunny day. Note: table signs say F4U only but… And try the Greek salad. If you don’t want fries with your(lamb!) gyro.

Hands down a great gyro! My favorite in Atlanta. Why? Because, the food and service is great. And, I’ve lived overseas, in the Middle East. I’ve traveled to many countries including Lebanon many times. And, I find Fresh4U has from what I’ve experienced the best and closest thing to a traditional gyro. Even been to Greece and they are almost the same. I would highly recommend giving them a try.

Great Mediterranean food. Love their lunch specials. Good deal for fresh, healthy food. Family owned establishment. Very nice couple runs this place. Always clean and fresh, cook to order food. Convenient hospital location! Seeing doctors eat here makes me feel healthy too ;)

This place is a cute little find and tucked away just a tad! Across from Piedmont hospital ! The lamb gyro was delicious and the sauce even more so! The tabouli was fresh and the flavor was great ! Another new spot found !

I’ve decided I’m officially a Greek food snob after being unhappy at this 4 star spot. The chicken in my gyro was so thin it was more of a lettuce gyro than and a chicken one. Also, the way they put the whole pita on the grill it makes it crispy. I prefer a nice fluffy pita bread.

Great food for great price. Lamb gyro was excellent. And how can you go wrong with a gyro, side and drink for $ 7?

The gyro is among the best in Atlanta. This place is solid all around. Free, easy parking in the back is a bonus for no hassle to go orders.

Small little place, easy to miss but right next to CVS. The guy who helped me explained the menu and answered any questions I had. He was very nice. I got the Lamb Gyro. It was amazing, the pita was fluffy. The sauce had so much flavor. Definitely would get again I got two sides(Tabouli salad and Baba Ghanoosh) Decent, different tasting but I wouldn’t order those again. The side selection looked good so I’d go for something different next time.

They make a mean lamb gyro! I have never been cheated out of a meat packed wrap. All ingredients taste fresh so the name doesn’t lie. The cold pasta sides are a great addition to your meal. The lemon pepper wings are average as are the fries. The service is wonderful and the owner is super sweet.

So, I thought this place was the entrance to the CVS and I walked in for a wedding card. This goes without saying, their card selection is poor. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice offering of Mediterranean snacks and decided to get some eats while here. The interior itself is small, but there are plenty of tables, inside and out, if you’re looking to eat here. I scooped up 2 sandwich combos(falafel and chicken gyro) along with a side for each and two drinks for a grand total of $ 15. That’s a steal. There are plenty of sides to choose from too; hummus, baba ghanooj, grape leaves, salads, beans, etc., all your favorites. In less than 10 min we were out the door with the food. Oh, about that food… it’s delish. I would be a regular here if I lived in the area. Nice sized sammies with lots of flavor. Can’t ask for more than that!

Fresh 4 U is a small Mediterranean restaurant located next to the CVS on Peachtree St. across from Piedmont Hospital. The restaurant gets most of its business during lunch, presumably from workers at the hospital and other nearby businesses. It’s slower in the evenings and weekends. During the daytime, the glass display case next to the ordering counter is filled with various Mediterranean foods such as salads, hummus, baba ghanoush, and dessert pastries. In my experience, these foods are cleared out at least 1 – 2 hours before closing time each night(8:30pm). This sometimes means there will be a limited selection in the evenings. The restaurant is closed on Sundays. The space is compact and the atmosphere is casual. The restaurant looks like it’s got some years on it. There’s sort of a fast casual setup with a self-serve fountain machine, but if dining in, plates are served to your table. There are multiple tables on the uncovered sidewalk patio and take-out seems to be a popular option. Fresh 4 U has a small menu, but it manages to capture many Mediterranean staples such as the aforementioned hummus and baba ghanoush, tabbouleh salad, stuffed grape leaves, Greek salad, pita wraps, lamb and chicken gyros, beef and chicken kabobs, and desserts like rice pudding and baklava. They also sell chicken wings. The menu is affordably priced with no single item over $ 8.99. The gyro combos are $ 8.99 and come with a side and fountain drink. The pita wraps are mostly $ 5.99 or less and come with a side. The food is filling and indeed fresh. I like the Beef Kofta Wrap and the Veggie Falafel Wrap. Beef kofta consists of ground beef meatballs that have been mixed/marinated in certain spices and onions. The kofta balls here are big, hearty, and a tad dry with a noticeable smoky flavor from the grill. The falafel are deep-fried balls made of ground chickpeas and are flavorful and satisfying. The wraps are neatly packed and presented inside foil wrappers and come with shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, hummus, and tahini sauce(made from lemon, garlic, and sesame seeds). As for sides, I really like Fresh 4 U’s tabbouleh salad(«tabouli» on menu). I like this salad, commonly made with parsley, tomato, cucumber, mint, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil, in general. The parsley in Fresh 4 U’s version seems to be coarsely chopped, making for a thicker, chewier tabbouleh salad. It’s interesting and a nice change from the more finely minced tabbouleh I’m accustomed to. The baba ghanoush, made from roasted eggplants, isn’t bad either. Service is very good. The food arrives in a timely manner. A free parking lot is located in the back. To get there, turn at the light near CVS onto Brighton Rd. and follow it behind the shopping center. While Fresh 4 U isn’t as big as a place like Mediterranean Grill or other similar restaurants, it does just fine as a simple café. I give them 3.5 stars rounded up to 4.

Eeeeep so good! My CI from fieldwork took me here for lunch as a nice gesture to end my time spent at Piedmont Hospital. We walked here with another one of my classmates and her CI — it’s not too bad of a walk distance wise but the humidity was killing me. Anyways, they don’t have a huge menu but they get to the point. I got the grilled veggie wrap with a side of their spinach. This pita is legit — it’s got grilled portabella mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, other veggies, and of course I asked for the sauce on the side. The spinach was my favorite. I might be a fan of pita wraps in general, so this could be a biased review. In my opinion, the veggie wrap was extremely flavorful even without the sauce. It’s got a savory element to it and was still refreshing to eat b/c of the lettuce and tomatoes. Yum! Since I don’t exactly live in the area, I don’t think I’ll go out of my way to eat here; but I’ll certainly stop by if I’m in the area!

Wonderful Greek food. I’m a lamb gyro lover and this place does not disappoint. Their tabouli salad and Greek salad are both great, too. The tabouli salad has a lot of lemon, just FYI. I like it but you might not. The hummus is really good too. It comes as a side with strips of pita. Price is good too. 2 gyro combos(includes gyro, 1 side salad, and a drink) and a side of hummus with pita came to $ 17 with tax. So about $ 8.50 a person.
