Florist Atlanta

I’ve used Florist Atlanta now for about a year for several orders and I would definitely recommend them. Their turnaround time is great and if I’m a slacker and place an online order late in the day they can generally get the flowers delivered the next morning with no problems. Pricing is very fair and the quality and selection is very good. I have used their online web-​store for all but one of my orders and it’s simple and easy to navigate. I do wish it had the ability to call up a previous order and «duplicate» it (and maybe it does and I haven’t figured out how to make it work) but finding what you need is quick and easy so it would only save a couple clicks…
But for me, the stand-​out plus for these guys is their service. I had a minor issue with an order early on and they made it right and went out of their way to make sure that I was happy. I try to support local businesses as much as possible DUE to the fact that you can call and speak to someone AT the location. If you are in the Howell Mill/​Chattahoochee Ind/​GA Tech neighborhood and need flowers, this place is definitely worth the call.

I totally spaced on ordering a bouquet for myself until a week before my wedding. I had seen this florist while running in my nearby neighborhood, so I decided to go in and try to convince them to do my bridal bouquet (I had already called a couple of places close to my venue and they told me a week wasn’t enough time). I told them a little about the wedding style and let them know I wanted a cascading bouquet (which is apparently not a super-​common style) of white and blue. I felt like Loralei really understood what look and feel I was going for and made some excellent flower suggestions. I also told her I loved the way lilies look but hate how they smell (they remind me of funerals/​death) and she suggested Oriental Lilies, which have no fragrance. I ended up with white roses, white orchids, white Oriental Lilies, and blue delphinium, and the bouquet was absolutely stunning. It was exactly what I wanted and totally matched my wedding aesthetic. There were some fuzzy buds on it originally that I wasn’t a fan of, but they replaced them with white roses and I was 100% satisfied! I also got my husband’s boutonnière and it was a perfect match. I got TONS of compliments on the bouquet and I am so thrilled that I was able to get the most beautiful bridal bouquet ever on such short notice! Since Valentine’s Day falls on a Saturday this year, I decided to have my Valentine’s flowers delivered early so she could enjoy them in the office for the whole week. This year, I ordered from Florist Atlanta. The small, unassuming shop is located on a busy stretch of Howell Mill Road near I-​75, across from Arby’s and the Kroger shopping center. I, however, did not step one foot inside the store and instead ordered the flowers online through their web site.
Florist Atlanta has been in business for over 30 years. As the shop’s name implies, it’s a local business, but they’ve also partnered with Teleflora, a floral wire service based in Los Angeles. Initially, I was a little concerned about this since I hadn’t had great results with another floral wire service (FTD). That concern was immediately squashed when I saw the excellent quality of the delivered product. It appears that partnering with Teleflora only increases the selection of floral arrangements Florist Atlanta offers. The web site will let you know which flowers are by Teleflora and which aren’t.
I ordered the Heartstrings Bouquet by Teleflora. It was $ 62.95 plus $ 6.00 tax and a $ 12.00 delivery fee. These prices are comparable to other local Atlanta florists I’ve purchased from including Carithers Flowers and Peachtree Petals.
The Heartstrings Bouquet comes with red roses, white Asiatic lilies, hot pink miniature carnations, and pink waxflower inside a red ceramic vase. Hanging outside the vase is a silver-​plated heart pendant with a 1-​carat Swarovski Elements crystal. Honestly, I could’ve done without the necklace, but it admittedly was a nice touch and presented elegantly.
The flowers were hand-​delivered, the ideal way to go when it comes to sending flowers. That means no impersonal cardboard box, unpacking, stem cutting, and manual flower arrangement by the recipient. The web site (
) was organized and easy to use. I had the flowers delivered on Monday and they arrived around 1:30pm.
The flowers arrived in fantastic condition. None were damaged nor wilted. The roses were in full bloom. Half the lilies were in bloom and half were still closed. The lilies had a very pleasant, but non-​intrusive fragrance. No plant food was included with the order, but I’m not sure if that’s a standard thing or if it’s even really required for the plants. Overall, the arrangement looked terrific and the photos on the web site were accurate. The red, pink, lavender, white, and green colors really popped. I also particularly liked the texture and sheen of the red vase.

Beautiful flowers! My mom called from New York to have them send me flowers for my birthday earlier this week. They arrived fresh and fragrant. I’m not sure what kind of lilies were in there, but they smell like perfume! My mom also told me three separate times now, how helpful and nice the lady (Laura, I think) was on the phone. My mom wasn’t sure what to get me, so she said to just «make it pretty». And they sure were!

I called Laura at Florist Atlanta out of state yesterday morning and they delivered the flowers by the afternoon! Needing flowers for the passing of a family friend, Laura was able to walk through the website with me and tailored the «deal of the day» offer to my specific needs. My friend and her family were quite pleased with the bouquet and thought they were beautiful!
Charming experience all around!

I needed flowers in a hurry so I called and let them know what I wanted. It was ready when I got there and the arrangement was BEAUTIFUL! I would trust them with my next flower order in a heartbeat!

Normally I hate fresh flowers as the thought of them dying makes me sad. Got some roses from here a few weeks back as a gift. They were fresh and lovely and tried drying them as a mini project.

Needed to send some flowers to a client, so I used Unilocal to locate a local florist near the office. I choose Florist Atlanta based off reviews, proximity to the office, and ease of using their website.
Client loved the flowers. Prices seem reasonable, but then again I’m used to CA prices, which are pretty high.

I needed flowers delivered to my wife’s work for our anniversary. I talked to Kenneth, told him I would give him his first Unilocal review if he Wowed me!
