Five Guys Famous Burgers & Fries

Typical Five Guys food, so I won’t say much about that … But it was pretty good compared to other Five Guys I’ve been to and tasted pretty darn good for airport food.
This review is for the shift manager, Anthony, who it was my pleasure to watch as he ran an extremely efficient operation. He was motivating, directing, communicating, and guiding the staff. He was serving, ensuring satisfaction, and guiding the customers to an easy and streamline «dining» experience … Okay, an unexpected decent meal in a bustling airport.
He did it all with a smile. I asked his name and told him that I was impressed with him … He thanked me and credited his crew (which I believe he must keep [some of] them motivated, as a couple seemed a little sullen), which raised my opinion of him further. I had thought him a good manager … Now I saw that he was a good leader.
As I complimented the young man, another diner, unsolicited, chimed in and seconded my comments. He had noticed the same things. Five Guys — keep an eye on him. He appears to be a rising star. I wish everyone had his attitude. Give me a bunch of Anthonys and I’d give you a spectacular company.
PS — As a GF Celiac, I asked about the fries and lettuce wrap options to ensure I’d be gluten free and not ill on a plane. He did well. Also, unknowingly to him, given our standing room only line, I happened to see him take charge of my special order to ensure it was properly executed … Even changed gloves and yelled out for others who had been handling bread/​buns, not to handle the order. Thank you.

I very rarely feel the need to write a poor review, but this time I just had to. Went to the Five Guys in concourse D at ATL, and was greeted (if you can even call it that) by two extremely unfriendly cashiers. We ordered breakfast – two bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches. It took 17 minutes, and they were far less than stellar. Multiple people who were waiting in the same area with us had been waiting upwards of 20 minutes for a single sandwich. There was no shortage of workers in the back, either. I’ve had good experiences with five guys before, but this was absolutely not one of them.

Let me start by saying I usually review 5 star restaurants but today at Terminal C in Atlanta I had a delightful surprise at a fast food burger franchise called 5 Guys. I rarely, if ever, eat at a franchised fast food joint but tonight I was strictly attracted by the energy of the employees from this establishment and the smell of the food. Let me start off by saying I have not encountered a fast food franchise with a group of such young, energetic and enthusiastic individuals as I experienced here in a long time. Special recognition goes to a very motivated young man named Pashari Tolbert who took command of his surroundings and also came outside the kitchen area to where patrons were seated to make sure everyone was happy and asked if we needed anything else.
5 Guys listen up. This young man is the type of individual who should be given the opportunity to become a franchisee. He exemplifies the best your company has to offer.
I look forward to my next stopover at terminal C.

We were short of time today around 11:15am to make our 11:45am flight and wanted something good to eat to carry us through our 3+ hour flight to PHX. The ground crew at Five Guys, Terminal D, not only prepared our five burgers and fries in record time, they were a pleasure to experience with their upbeat attitudes and genuine personalities. Looking for good food and GREAT service? You can find both at Five Guys ATL!

Standard 5G fare. It’s great that they serve burgers at all hours (even 6am) but the fries were more burned than usual, this airport set-​up is counterintuitive (condiments around the corner), and as always the prices are a bit steep for the grease-​fest you get.

I ordered at 6:30. It’s 6:50 and they’re still several orders away. No acknowledgement. «Ambivalent» is the most positive word I can think of to describe the staff. It’s unfortunate. This is a fast food chain — with nowhere to sit at this location — so it’s obviously designed for ‘on-​the-​go’. Got back in line and had to get a refund after more than 20 minutes.

I always like five guys’ food. Burgers are among the best of fast food joints and the fries are always piled high. But this review isn’t about that, it’s about the service.
I’m boarding a flight at the gate next to the terminal and stopped by for some fries to get me through the next leg of my travels. I bet I’ve heard «thank you» said about 40 times already. People are being offered refills on their drinks and I was offered a water as I sat nearby eating my fries. The manager is smiling and friendly and really seems all about the southern hospitality. Best of all, the fries were still piled high.

Very well organized and quick service at high Noon on August 17^th. Three people taking orders and a line crew that didn’t miss a beat. Gentleman at the end of the line was like a cheerleader for the customers and other employees. Food was served piping hot. I totally enjoyed my meal. Delicious!!!

Free peanuts is really nice. They give you a ton of fries, way too much. Always get Cajun fries. Relatively cheap for the price. The food just isn’t that great. Everything is much, much too greasy. But I like that the «veggie sandwich» is just a burger without the patty, so the flavor of the veggies is drawn out. It’s still greasy, but not as much.
Good for when you’re in a group of 5 really hungry guys.

One of the most well-​known burger chain in the country. Now, I usually wouldn’t really want to do a review on something that is so well-​known, or a franchise that popular already. However, my dining experience in this particular Five Guys truly stood out.
My girlfriend and I were trying to grab a bite before our plane ride. We stumbled across a five guys, and we thought, why not? Can’t go wrong with some delicious burger for the road!
However, the workers attitude truly made this a successful shop. Even while waiting in line to place our orders, I can feel the enthusiasm of the workers. I kid you not when I say I hear workers started singing and chanting «let’s keep it going» every 5 minutes. I see chefs dancing around the kitchen in such a coordinated fashion that I was truly mesmerized and amused. It was almost like a show.
The manager (maybe?) would keep encouraging workers to keep up with the pace while showering them with positive attitudes. She also goes around and ask how the food was, and asked if we needed any ketchup or condiments.
I can only wish other restaurants share the same enthusiastic workers and chefs.

The service and attitude of the people working at this Five Guys is unparalleled. They made our food quickly and with care. The employees were not just pleasant, they made me smile. As we ate in the gate next door, we received several visits from an employee asking us how we were and bringing is refills. Best. Five. Guys. Ever.

This is the best five guys ever!!! I didn’t get her name but this amazing woman works there who will say good morning to you. She’s the best. Checks on people who are waiting for their orders to make sure they’re doing okay, will refill drinks for you, and is just nice as can be. I hope she reads this and smiles, and knows we appreciate her!

So i finally tried this chain and honestly was not blown away. The fries were good but just seemed heavy in the gut. The burger ehh ok i have had much much better. Dont get me wrong they r a step up from typical fast food chains.

I started eating at Five Guys back when they were only on the East Coast. I used to fly through IAD just so that I could go to Five Guys!!! I find them to be one of the best hamburger chains in the country. Great hamburgers. Great fries. Even Great Hot Dogs. You can never go wrong going to Five Guys.

Okay, I am a fan of the Five Guys chain in general but being from up north I was surprised when ordering a medium fry on a run between gates. «Will that be regular or cajun?» What the what? Cajun of course… I want that option closer to home!

I couldn’t find the five guys in concourse C but this is my review for them.
I was really hungry and I had a 3 hour layover so I thought why not treat myself to a burger. I have had five guys before in other states so I wanted something familiar. When I ordered my food I kept getting asked if I was OK by all the employees! They are so amazingly friendly and you can tell that they aim to please their customers.
They were really busy so the wait was a little long but that’s with all the restaurants. I had so much time to spare that I didn’t mind waiting but if they made me wait for 30 minutes we have a problem… Every one knows not to leave a girl hungry. That has bad news bears written all over it…
Once I got my food I was really excited to eat it along with the fries I ordered. Once I bit into it I got really disappointed! They forgot to put my bacon in there… Anyone would agree that of you’re paying extra for something and it’s not in there like you asked, you’d get kind upset. I was upset but I wasn’t going to throw a fit so I just went up there to inform them that I didn’t get my bacon. Brittany (one of the employees) came up to me and saw that I was concerned. She took prompt action and had a new burger remade for me in a matter of seconds! The way she approached me and everyone else is very welcoming. She definitely made my day and left me very satisfied.
For some people customer service from every employee is kind of a difficult task. Some employees will wear their emotions on their skin as if they hate their job but here it is not the case. Everyone is so friendly. The team work they had during rush hour was absolutely incredible and Brittany was very very welcoming and easy to approach. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants fast and great service from some amazing people.

I couldn’t have been any more excited when I saw five guys at the airport. I love this place, the food is always amazing, delicious and quick. The burger is always juicy and tasty, the cheese on top is just always mouth watering. I always leave wanting more. I could easily have two burgers easily, that’s how good they are. I only get one because I eat pretty healthy for the most part but man are these burgers good. The best thing to do is to get raw onions and fresh cut jalapenos on your burger along with whatever you like. The crunch and the freshness taste is out of this world. I am hungry just writing this review, wish there was a spot open close to my house :-)

At almost 10 in the night, these people were awfully chipper — almost made my tired and hungry self really mad. lol!
But customer service was great, my veggie sandwich was awesome, fries were cooked well and it was fairly quick!
