This place has grown on me. The service is good and the food is pretty consistent for basic breakfast… super convenient

I loved this place! It was delicious! I ordered chili with a club sandwich and my friend got the breakfast! Server was really sweet and the whole atmosphere is really nice. They have a great selection on different types of breakfast and brunch options! Will be coming back here for sure!

Hunny and I stopped at this place on our way out of Atlanta — we wanted to grab some good brunch before we hit the road. The wait was a little long — but that was expected as it was Sunday afternoon. The service was alright — our waitress was pretty cool, but some of the other staff… meeeeh. We sat outside, which was fine(there was a group of people across from us that had the most adorable little pittie puppy!), and the umbrella + awning made it a perfect seat. The food was alright, I was very expectant of the Harbor potatoes, and was let down as soon as the plates came and it was very obvious that they are pre-purchased(I was really hoping they made their own, like cut them etc). But hey, whatever — I guess you gotta save time where you can. All in all, this place was decent, and I’d probably go back.

Love love love this place. Staff and management are extra friendly which is a great way to start the day. I always get coffee and strawberry orange juice which is to die for. Coffee is served with a personal carafe for refills which is a awesome service touch. I usually stick to the Georgia cheese grits loaded with jalapeños tomatoes onions and bacon, I usually get a side of fresh avocado and a fruit cup instead of the biscuit. Love that they offer a fruit cup and the fruit is always fresh! Last week I tried the banana bread French toast which was not my favorite. I think I would prefer the regular French toast with bananas on top. Keep in mind you pay up front. They also give you a coffee to go if you want one! Anyways, they’re doing a good thing at egg harbor! It’s also a plus they are walking distance from my apartment! Yay!

Can you believe that I walked 3 miles from my hotel to this place, thinking it was a one-of-a-kind, signature«Atlanta» destination? I suck at due diligence. But despite my disappointment when I realized it was one of 19 Egg Harbors, the food was great, the service prompt and pleasant. I can’t say that the atmosphere was anything unique that is worth seeking out, but for a satisfying, hearty Georgia breakfast, you won’t be disappointed.

Such deliciousness! Katherine was an awesome server — so pleasant! She made the experience even better by making some recommendations to us that really made the breakfast that much better!

Nice brunch spot. The berries and cream crepes was so good. I also tried the summer in italy which is french toast with fruits which was also pretty good. Ordered takeout this time but would definitely come back to dine in.

Went for brunch today and was quite excited after reading reviews and looking at the photos. When we arrived, there was a 25-min wait for a party of 3, which wasn’t bad. We just walked to R. Thomas to get smoothies while we waited. Afterward, we were seated quickly and promptly greeted by our server who took our drink orders. The drinks arrived almost instantaneously! I ordered the Georgia Grits, a waffle & coffee; my daughter got green eggs & ham with a hot chocolate; and my boyfriend got blueberry pancakes, chicken sausage & a yogurt parfait with banana bread. I think I was the only one who was dissatisfied with their meal. The waffle was awesome, but my grits dish came out cold… it was very disappointing and just plain ol’ sad! the veggies that were on the dish were too raw for my liking… i haf hoped that they would’ve been a little cooked or sautéed, but nope! The service was awesome!

I love it! We got take out since we were heading to the airport, but I wanted to try this place so take out it is! I ordered the berries and cream crêpe and it was heavenly. I just love love loved it. It was sweet, but not too sweet. The crepes were soft, but not chewy, and the consistency was lovely! Pair that with fresh fruits and it’s one of the best breakfast crepes I have ever tasted! Also got the summer summer in Italy French Toast. I don’t like french toast that much in general because too much cinnamon is no bueno for me. But I don’t know what they did with this entrée… because I almost ate the whole thing and it was ginormous! Loved all the flavors that they put together — the sweet, the savory… great balance. I would definitely come here again if I visit the city! Go here! For real!

You see him out on the floor tweaking the already perfect service Everthing here is fresh delicious. Thank you people at Egg harbor for making my meals with you food nirvana.

Came to this place on a Sunday around 1pm. The wait was about 20 min. They have a cute outdoor seating area which is the main reason I wanted to check it out, but storms rolled in about the same time we did. We had two servers that were very attentive & friendly. They had pitchers of water on the table ready to go, which I know some folks don’t like, but this girl does. It’s hot, I’m thirsty, I can pour. No problem. We ordered the flavored coffee of the day(pecan, yum!), 2 two griddle combos(your choice of griddle item with eggs & bacon or sausage). I had the signature pancake, my boyfriend has the summer in Italy French toast. The pancakes are made with wheat flour which was great! A little more crumbly(?best word I can think of to describe it?) than most pancakes, maybe because of this, but still very good. His French toast was amaaaazing. The granola on top was a great choice. The food came out in about 10 minutes & they dropped our check at the table to pay up front whenever we were ready. Our meal was less than $ 40 including tip, which is a good price for the area & the amount of food we had(level: afternoon Sunday nap required). We will be back!

Slightly upscale version of IHOP. No complaints(other than the long wait which is again no different than IHOP).

This place was great! We took a trip to Atlanta over the weekend for an expo. We decided on breakfast here because they had lots of gluten free options. I love the atmosphere. It’s so down home-y. The staff are very nice and well mannered. The sweet tea comes out in a Mason jar :) I ordered the gluten free cinnamon roll with scrambled eggs, bacon, and cheese grits. The only disappointment was that the cinnamon roll was a little on the small side, BUTITWASAMAZING! The best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had, gluten free or not. It was so buttery and soft, and the icing was perfect. Cheese grits were good, eggs and bacon were average. All in all, I really enjoyed eating here. I wish there was one closer to home cause I’d eat there all the time. Definitely stop by if you’re in the neighborhood! There’s more than one location!

Location: Off Peachtree Rd next to Watershed Fav Item: Salmon Benedict of course. — Positives: Free parking in the back although it is limited, the outside seating is beautiful. The view of the city is nice as well. — Negatives: N/A — Overall: Great location, good brunch spot and they’re open until 2pm! PS. Go on a sunny day and sit outside you won’t regret it.

What a great breakfast place!!! My husband and I came here on a Thursday morning and we were not disappointed! First, we were greeted by the exceptionally friendly staff. You really got the vibe that they enjoyed their jobs and that they wanted to be there. That continued throughout our meal. We were seated, and we both ordered coffee(intelligentsia coffee! YUM). I ordered the joes healthy scrambler but I substituted breakfast potatoes for the English muffin, because breakfast potatoes speak to me on a spiritual level. My husband ordered the egg white omelette and we were both very happy with our choices. I wish I lived closer because this would become a regular spot for me!

If you are looking for a good gourmet brunch spot in Atlanta, I would like to put my $ 0.02 into Egg Harbor Café on Peachtree in Buckhead(but seconds away from Midtown). Café style with large windows(natural lighting) coming into the building facing Peachtree. They have many unique items to choose from such as: salads, eggs benedict, soups, sammiches, omelettes, pancakes. I had the skillet with eggs. Absoulutely delicous. Juicing/items with fresh fruit and veggie items on display to have a refreshing beverage. Service was good. Definitely will go back especially where it was not overly crowded as well. Grade: B+

I went to Egg Harbor Café with 6 of my friends as a last meal together before we parted ways to head back to Orlando. We were exhausted, famished and ready to be back home in our own beds after a weekend in Buckhead for a concert and mini vacation. This place was exactly what we needed. I ordered the Georgia Cheese Grits and Eggs(cheese grits with crispy bacon and veggies/egg on the side). However, I did tweek it a bit; instead of Monterey Jack Cheese, I subbed it for Goat Cheese, and instead of jalapenos I subbed it for bell peppers. It was out of this world. I highly suggest swapping out the Monterey Jack cheese for Goat Cheese; goat cheese grits are soooo delicious. Everyone else was extremely happy with their meals as well. For the first 5 minutes after getting our food it was utterly silent from all 7 of us from thoroughly enjoying our breakfasts. Also– the strawberry orange juice is delicious and definitely worth trying. The staff was extremely helpful and super sweet to us– and mind you it was a group of 7 weirdos coming down from an intense, crazy, tiring weekend seeing Tool and Primus. We’re not their typical crowd for sure. But one of the food runners took note of all of our Tool shirts and talked about the band with us and asked how the show was. The server was extremely nice as well.

Took a minute to get a seat, but well worth it. Had the daily special and the coffee of the day and both were fantastic. Service was fast and friendly, and for how good it was the price was great. If I lived in the area, this would be my go to breakfast spot.

Omg! This place is such an amazing breakfast/brunch! Most of their dishes are something has to do eggs(obviously from the name). I have been here several times and all of their dishes are fantastic. You should make sure to try out their popular dishes which are marked in their menu. I am not a big meat eater but I love Matt’s meaty skillet especially extra easy on eggs! My favorite one is protein wrap. I know it doesn’t sound tasty at all and sounds rather boring! It’s delish and heathy! Their house-made patty which made with quinoa and beans is yummy! It tastes like meat and it comes guilt free! Make sure to get extra salsa with it. If you feel like something sweet in the morning, try out their new toast. I forgot the name of it it comes with cheese and cinnamon apple on the top. Their service is top-notch! They are very flexible and tries best to fit your needs. Amanda was so pleasant! You should ask for her if you are extra grumpy in the morning. She will make sure that you are taken care of. This place is a chain restaurant but it surely don’t feel like one. If you haven’t been here, you should definitely try it out.

Very nice place to have breakfast and lunch. We ordered a traditional breakfast and a half sandwich with soup, and full sandwich. All the sandwiches came with delicious salads. The service was good and the price quite reasonable. The homey atmosphere of this place was a plus to the nice food and good service we had. The waiter even offered a cup of coffee to go, on the house.

Meh, long wait which is expected on New Years day… but the food wasn’t eggceptional for the wait. However, I have to say that my free pancake I got from checking into Unilocal was amazing, not only because it’s free, but it’s quite tasty. But everything else is just meh. I’ve had better eggs Benedict. I’ve had better grits… blah blah blah… I have to shout out to the waitresses who were wonderful to us. We had two kids and they were very personable with them which makes it much more enjoyable for everyone. So thank you!

Delicious and plentiful portions and a quaint down-home environment — a more homegrown version of an IHOP which is really good when you have a big group. I had the breakfast skillet and substituted my English muffin for a biscuit. Definitely enough food for two. Add in a decent cup of coffee and a bill that won’t break the bank and it makes this breakfast spot one of my favorite family stops in ATL

Came here for a double date and had a great time with my friends. I realize that if you wanna have fantastic brunch in Atlanta, you need to get up really early. It turned out that Egg Café is worth the sleepless pain. I like the lobster scrambler a lot! The porched eggs are amazing! Especially if you put it on English muffins, so yummy! The preserves are fresh too. Ground coffee is good too! And orange juice is so fresh. Not a big fun of the whole wheat pancakes, they are just normal.

If I could explain Egg Harbor Café in one sentence I would say that it’s high quality food for a low price. I came here for brunch on Saturday expecting a wait because there’s always a wait in LA for brunch but to my surprise, there was no wait! Parking was a breeze as it’s free in the structure and there were a lot of open spots. The staff at Egg Harbor Café were super friendly and they all wear matching polos(so cute!). The quaint café is very open and spacious and the windows let in a lot of light from what I remember. The seats were wooden and they served their drinks in mason jars; it has a very homey feel to it. Since my friend ordered the smoked salmon benedict, I got the Farmer’s Market benedict and we swapped one of the benedicts so we could try each other’s. The smoked salmon benedict was delicious and priced at $ 10.99… you could easily pay $ 16-$ 20 for a smoked salmon benedict at a brunch place in LA. The smoked salmon benedict was delicious; there was also a lot of capers on top of the salmon as well which was delightful. The Farmers Market benedict consisted of artichokes, tomatoes, spinach and mushrooms. This benedict was very light and the fresh veggies stole the show. Overall. Egg Harbor Café is amazing to say the least! Amazing food at amazing prices.

Visited a different location for lunch and it was okay!!! This location was awesome and very spacious… The hostess, waitress, and other servers provided quality customer service. Breakfast and Brunch here came along with a gluten free menu… I had the gluten free pancakes(one for free with a Unilocal check-in)! All the food looked and tasted delicious… Parking is free and an easy access into the restaurant!!! I would definitely recommend and come back…

I love Egg Harbor! This is my go to brunch place. It can get busy on the weekend but I’ve never really had to wait more than 15 – 30 minutes to seat 2 – 4 people. There’s a huge indoor waiting area with some seating right outside the restaurant. They also provide complimentary coffee during your wait which is pretty awesome. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor tables have huge umbrellas for shade and is a nice option when the weather is nice. The menu has a wide variety of brunchy things and the items change from time to time. I’ve tried their frittatas, benedicts, crepes, and skillets ALLGOOD. Some of these dishes come with their Harbor potatoes(love) or grits(yuuum) and an English muffin with homemade preserves(YUMMM). Another great thing about Egg Harbor is that they always offer a Unilocal deal of 1 free pancake when you check in. This pancake is heavenly! It’s so good you really don’t even need the syrup. It’s light and fluffy and I looOoove it. Also, there’s a pitcher of water with lemon slices waiting for you at your table so you never have to wait for a refill. If you can’t tell I love this place. The service is always great and the food is always on point!!! Honestly so surprised it took me so long to review this place but I finally got around to it: o)

Here’s the deal –dining out is a choice. There are a lot of choices in Atlanta. This place has service down to an art. A few examples: check in –told that it would be 20 max, but he was certain he could get me on sooner & did .seated and asked which table I’d prefer pot of coffee and pitcher of H2O @ table waiter very friendly, timely, knew the menu, & offered me a cup of coffee to go. For the food now– the San Antonio Skillet is the way to go if you like a little caliente for brunch. Delicious and fresh — truly large enough to share, unless you’re planning a nap afterwards Check in on Unilocal– a free single delicious pancake awaits. I try to avoid carbs, but ate this round piece of heaven Great job #eggharborcafe!

I came here after my first two options for brunch were closed. Not sure if this affected my rating or not, but it’s something to keep in mind! The service was really great, we had multiple people checking on us throughout our time at brunch. The reason I am dinging the stars is my meal was just ok. I had the banana bread French toast. It was basically banana bread topped with slices of banana. Decent, but not enough to make me want to run back here anytime soon.

My friend and I stumbled into this place after checking Unilocal. It was walking distance from his apartment. Wearing jeans, t-shirts, and baseball caps, we definitely felt under-dressed. Most of the clientele was upper class, well-dressed, middle-aged white folks. We overheard some of them attempting to dissect the notes they tasted in their breakfast. Our waiter asked if we had been here before. When we said«no,» he gave free beignets with marmalade jelly! These were small beignets but some of the best I’ve ever had. I ordered the«city grits.» Lukewarm but so creamy and filled with bacon, chives, and tomatoes. Delicious. I would give 5 stars if I tried more, but I only had two appetizers. Well done, though.

You had me at free pancake for checking in(seriously, check in! It’s worth it), and free parking. Add in great reviews on Unilocal — I was in. This café fulfilled my expectations. Very family friendly, spacious, but also very busy during the morning hours. Come early, or be prepared to wait for your seat. We waited about 30 minutes, with provided free coffee, for our booth. The food is delicious! They have an expansive breakfast menu, from sweets to savory with a Southern flair. I highly enjoyed my salmon egg Benedict, and highly recommend it. My friend got the cheese & grits — the grits were good, but overpowered by the raw onions sprinkled on top. I will be back, after all, brunch is the most important meal of the day.

Came here on a Saturday morning at around 10am with a big group and luckily missed the brunch rush. I got the Dynamite White Veggie Omelet. It tasted healthy and yummy, and was very filling. I highly recommend it. Service was fantastic. They accidentally put cheese on my omelet but they took it back in and got me a new one in less than 5 minutes. I also love the cute rooster and chicken decorations everywhere. It adds to the charm of the restaurant. Eating there also felt very comfortable because tables are spaced out so you aren’t squished against the next table.

A truly exceptional brunch experience awaits at this downtown Atlanta breakfast spot. We waltzed in on a Sunday just before the 2pm closing time, after finding easy parking on the side street. We hwere greeted by the manager who suggested we eat outside at the large patio and it was a great idea; weather was beautiful; the Terrace is well appointed and ideal for dining and people watching. Although upscale, the space is very unpretentious with a large urban farm Interior décor and extremely friendly and attentive staff. Everything from the omelette to the fire grilled chicken salad were prepared as we had ordered them. The service was unhurried and exceptional making This restaurant a definite local weekend brunch favourite; well done EHC!

Just had the cinnamon roll french toast. Heavenly!!! They heat the syrup bottle so its delivered to table warm, it doesnt sit out like at most places. They dribble fresh icing over them… just wonderful. Pic uploaded. $ 7.49 plus tax and tip. Service is good, with large water pitcher with lemon on the table. Parking you turn west off Peachtree on the south side of the building. Enter lot, and after passing the first 8 – 10 spots that are reserved by permit you can park free. Very nice!

I would never have guessed that such a warm and homey place was inside the drab gray/brick building at the corner of Peachtree and Palisades. I’ve driven past countless times – and even saw the Egg Harbor Café flag waving outside – but never paid it much attention. Thanks to Unilocal I finally stopped in to check it out. The menu offers such a wide selection featuring options I haven’t seen at other breakfast places: Lemon Poppyseed Pancakes, Peach Cobbler French Toast, Quinoa Breakfast Bowl, and Bacado Omelette just to name a few. I ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast Combo – highly enjoyable. It came with a jar of syrup but the French toast was already so sweet(drizzled with vanilla glaze and dusted with sugar) that I didn’t even need it. The eggs and turkey bacon(thick cut, smoky slivers of bacon) were delicious and filling. The Peach Orange Juice tasted like the Florida-Georgia state line in a glass… bright and refreshing! So glad that Unilocal put me on to the Egg Harbor Café. Without a doubt this is my new favorite breakfast spot.

There’s free parking in the building, which is super convenient for a place in this location. Unfortunately they don’t take reservations, which I think they should start doing. There’s complimentary coffee while you wait for your whole party to arrive or if you’re waiting for a table. The menu is extensive and the awesome thing is that it’s not set in stone and more of a «guideline» as our waiter(who was really awesome and patient) described to us. They’re very easy going about substituting items and really making your meal what you want it to be. I got the frittata which came with potatoes and an english muffin and used the Unilocal deal to get a free pancake. It was a lot of food that I had to take some home. They even let you take to-go cups for your drinks when you leave.
