I went in here to buy a swimsuit(using a Scoutmob). They have probably 25 styles to choose from, but upon further inspection, 99.9% of them are size 30. Is this a children’s store? I haven’t been size 30 since the 8th grade! Seriously, I’ not asking for a jumbo size 40 and i’m not overweight. Can you stock at least a few items in adult sizes please?

My impressions of Drew Lewis… Spendy but awesome. Locally owned. Dripping with easy, graceful cool. Clothes that fit skinny people. Nice people in here, too. I’m not a hipster in general, and I was looking particularly un-hip having just alighted from the MARTA train, sweating in a long sleeve shirt and jeans on a hot, sunny, Midtown afternoon(Yes, Laura W., this was the same afternoon — but did I mention the pink shorts in the other review?). If there was any remaining doubt about my lack of cultural awareness, it would have been dispelled by the tattered running shoes and aged nylon bookbag with broken zippers slung casually over –both– shoulders. In short, I clearly did not belong in Drew Lewis. Could they rescue me from myself? The guy behind the counter gave a friendly hello as I moved around the store, left me unmolested until I looked like I had a question, and made good conversation while I tried on a few things. He gave good advice and steered me in a positive direction. Prices varied widely. Fits were narrow and had a tailored look. Textures and colors were clearly chosen with care and well presented. Importantly for me, a not-overly-tall skinny dude, everything fit. Beutifully. I was able to dollar-cost average my purchases so that the net was reasonable for the number of items, though I never thought I’d pay so much for a pair of shorts. «Salmon,» apparantly, is the color. That means Pink. Yep. Pink shorts. I wore them out of the store. In went dowdy, tired Bailey B. Out sauntered a hipper and happier me. Thanks, Drew Lewis. I’ll be back!

The other Unilocaler is correct when saying the space is friggin awesome. But the space is also friggin EMPTY! The artistic décor didn’t match the clothes. The clothes were pretty boring for the space. And there were so few of them. They ARE very expensive. Is the price supposed to make up for substance? So my 2 stars are for style and décor of the store and the employees only. Drewlewis also focuses on menswear, so I didn’t find anything in the small ladies collection. Plus everything was in a size 2, and I haven’t worn a size 2 since the 6th grade.

I’m a huge fan of Drew Lewis. The prices are really high, but if you’re a Hollywood shopping like Tracy W. said, this place is for you. The owners are definitely at the store, and willing to help with anything you need. Downstairs is men, and upstairs is women. The space is huge, secluded, and the clothes are just raving at me. Drew Lewis carries a lot of designer brand name clothes to a few select jeans.

Drew Lewis is the reason why I prefer to shop locally owned boutiques rather than department stores. In addition to having a great selection of carefully edited items from hard to find lines like A.P.C., Alexander Wang, Sea New York, and many others, co-owners Seth and David are always on hand to assist you with anything you need. They’re always open to suggestions as to what you would like to see in the showroom as well as dispense advise fashion or life-wise. It’s a very friendly shopping atmosphere that leaves you feeling very comfortable, as if you had just gone to visit a friend and picked up a few items for my closet on the side. If you haven’t been to Drew Lewis yet, it’s time you schedule a drive out of the suburbs to what might possibly be the best boutique in town. I think I just found my new favorite place to shop! The boutique is located at the Mid-City Lofts right next to Mid-City Café. The space is just gorgeous! It’s two floors… the men’s section is on the first floor and the women section is upstairs. Dark floors, antique tables, gorgeous wall paper, chairs attached to the wall as shelves, subway tile, etc… It reminds me of one of my home décor catalogs I receive each month… Brocade Home… simply classic and fun is the atmosphere here! Now onto the clothes!!! Now everyone knows how much I love shopping and right now layering and accessorizing your outfit is what’s in. It is soooo easy to do this at Drewlewis! Hot hoodies, fabulous jackets, skinny ties, basic colors and stripe shirts & sweaters, the cutest«dress» shorts and so much more!(and…this is just the guys stuff!) I was sooo happy to finally see a store in Atlanta that is not all about being a rock star or bringing back a style that should have been left in the 80’s. Simplicity is in and this is the place that does it right! I like to call the look: «Classic Edgy mixed in Artsy-Preppy with a clean finish of Euro-pop New Yorker!» Sounds hot, eh? Believe me, the look is hotter! They carry Modern Amusement, Ben Sherman, Rag & Bone, Tom Ford Sunglasses, etc… OH… they also have the largest selection of William Rast jeans! If you are not familiar with William Rast… Justin Timberlake is behind the brand… they have a great fit, cool design on the pockets, and most important the colors are very blue neutral… nothing funky or distressed with these jeans! Not to mention that one of the owner’s best friend is cousins with Mr. JT himself! The owner’s David and Seth are super nice and friendly! It’s always great to see a store owner interact with their customers and really know the brands they carry! Believe me, they REALLY know their stuff! I definitely need to make more money to buy everything in this store! Just want to say great job guys! You have a beautiful space and carry beautiful clothing! I wish you much success! Welcome to Atlanta and thanks for bringing a bit of New York with you!
