Easily the new, must-check-out spot on the eastside. It’s located in a small house that also features a hair salon, and the seat area is basically on the kitchen. It’s so small and quaint. I feel like I’m at home being spoiled by a private chef. The minimal décor is also highly appropriate. The place focuses on the important things. food and ambiance. And it accomplishes outstanding experiences in both areas in the most direct way possible. Dish Dive is BYOB, so have a bunch of fun with that! There’s a craft beer(and wine?) store just down the street, so no worries if you forget to bring drinks. The menu is super creative with wonderful moments of flair while also being very accomodating to the comforts of familiar options. I also love the disco/house music that soundtracks the small space. I wish they ran a dance club out of the space in the after hours. It would be my go to spot. I definitely recommend calling for reservations a day in advance, although they have always squeezed me in the day of as well. The space is just very small – there are tables for about 16 peoole and the bar seats 2 – and getting a table will be tough as the buzz around this place builds. Lastly, the server is the most amazing man in Atlanta. He’s gorgeous and an absolute joy to be around. We had the best time sharing laughs with him, and our entire table agreed that he must be a unicorn.

Yesterday my family and I visited this restaurant, we celebrated our wedding anniversary. The atmosphere in restaurant very pleasant and homey. All of us ordered different dishes, my husband and I prefer fish menu. Our waiter was very helpful to choose good course. Everything was very tasty, fresh, unusual presentation and enough big portions for that price. Very satisfied.

We popped in on NYE without a reservation. We got seated right away at the counter and had a lovely meal that was fresh and delicious but very affordable! We will be back. We had the fried oyster and Brussels sprouts in garlic cream to start then had the steak and pappardelle with roasted beets and it was amazing!

Wow the pappardelle with smoked duck and beets… best dish /bite of food I’ve had in months. And I go everywhere. It was singularly exceptional, and at the price it was at(maybe $ 14) … wow.(not a huge portion but allows for sharing other items). DON“T forget to BYOB. Hanger Steak was extremely good, if I had to find a critique it was on the salty side. Brussels with goat cheese also awesome, but that pappardelle was memorable. Yes its super tiny, yes its parking is limited and acoustics aren’t great, but know what you are coming for and have a great time.

I have no idea if the food is good or not. I was going with 6 foodies to check out Dish Dive, and made a reservation several weeks in advance. The afternoon before, I received a text saying they had staff and supply problems and they were canceling my reservation. The communication was very unprofessional, bordering on childish. I’d love to know the back story. I know things happen, but these are supposed to be seasoned professionals.

This place and the concept are amazeballs! Think of it as a Gourmet Food Truck, but with a server and a brick and mortar locale, plus some tables. They only have about 6 tables inside, pus a double picnic table set up outside, so yes, MAKERESERVATIONS which you can TEXT them and make via mobile! and it is BYOB so bring it,(They do not have ice but they have a fridge to chill your boozer) The food is just perfect and the salads are winners.

It was«alright» at best. Do you like bland food? It looked pretty, so there is THAT… Brunch with friends. While the dining room was small, they accommodated our group of 7. Service was decent but you shouldn’t have to keep reminding them to give you more coffee. $ 3 btw, which ain’t cheap. I had chicken tamales that were flavorless. We asked for salt and pepper but it did not save them. They poured an iced cold green sauce on the plate. And sprinkled a bit of feta(this, imo, was a strange addition). I thought this dish was gross. My friends had chicken biscuits and the biscuit was tasty. The cinnamon rolls were ok. I will wait for an hour in Miami for the Knausberry Farms’ cinnamon rolls, so maybe I am biased, but I think you can be more satisfied at the mall food court. Their rolls didn’t seem fresh and were on the dry side. I am in the minority here, but whateva. I hope they get better bc I like the idea of a charming local spot.

I’m channeling Justin Timberlake doing an impression of Jimmy Fallon«So good, so good my man, so good». I’ve been here a few times and the food has always been on point. The salads are for sure where it’s at. Make sure you get one. This last time was some sort of wheatberry salad and it was killer. Let’s not even talk about fries smothered in mushroom gravy… what what! Get at least 2 small(ish) plates per person, 3 if you want to eat until you bust a gut. Chill relaxed service and BYOB. Do it!

The braised pork belly alone is worth coming to this gem of a place! BYOB!!! I would come here all the time of it was in LA.

Really nice low-key service, super tasty food across the board — don’t let the outside fool you, this is great food at very affordable prices! BYOB so remember to bring your fave libations!

This place was quite a surprise! The staff is very down to earth and let me take up a table waiting on my friends for 30 minutes instead of me standing against the wall like I’m in timeout. The place is quite small, probably won’t hold more than 30 – 40 people including the outside seating area. There are only 2 large party size tables(1 fits about 8 and the other is outside that fits about 10 – 12). So if you have a large party, go early or call in. There is limited parking as well, but there is a side street just past the restaurant where you can park. Now to the food. We, a party of 4, order the catfish, pork belly french toast, tagliatelle pasta dish, and the salmon. Everything was excited! The catfish was lightly fried and placed on top of a stew, very flavorful. The pork belly and french toast seems to pair off really well together. No idea why I even doubted it. Pork belly goes with everything! The tagliatelle pasta tasted freshly made and the light cream sauce enhanced the homemade noodle’s texture. The salmon was done perfectly over a peach salad. The waiter informed us that they get the salmon from Alaska flown in on Tuesday so its super fresh. The catfish was caught in GA. Only con I have is the portions. I don’t eat a lot, but the dishes were on the small size even to me. We ended up getting a giant ice cream elsewhere to be truly satisfied. So highly recommend you getting an appetizer or you wont be full. I know the boys in my party were still hungry lol. But overall, the place will surprise you. The food is fresh and you get to watch Marta speed past you(across the street from a track)

The atmosphere is chill, intimate, and cozy – all in a good way. Your really feel like you are enjoying a dinner party at your friend’s house. The service was stellar. Unpretentious. Hip. Friendly. Attentive. Knowledgeable. It should also be noted that despite being a small place with few tables, the dining experience was not rushed. Food was amazing. Between the hangar steaks, tagliatelle, and cheesecake ordered at our table, everyone was pleased. Despite the tiny kitchen, presentation is not something that is overlooked here. Although described as full-size entrees, the portions are a bit on the smaller side. Just something to keep in mind if you come here super hungry. BYOB. Also, if you forget, Ale Yeah is just down the street. Limited parking at the location, but plenty of on-street parking around the corner and easy MARTA access. Seating is limited(especially if it happens to be rainy) and can cause a challenge with wait times. A great value. Prices are extremely reasonable, especially for such good-quality, fresh food. Truly a great dining experience all the way around. I’m sure this was the first of many visits to Dish Dive.

It was f*ing hot. They don’t have a ceiling fan(yet), and this was one of those 90 degrees at 7pm sort of days. I was hot but ok in a light dress, but husband was sweating hard, in khakis and a shirt. Despite that, the food and service were on point. The restaurant is BYOB, and they have a small, delicious menu– generally something we know, but with their own twist(shakshuka w/sweet potato purée, pork belly w/french toast). The food is very reasonably priced; the ones that seem like entrees are entrée sized, and the app type ones are app sized(basically, this is not a small plates/tapas/you’ll still be hungry sort of place). I really enjoyed my meal, but I don’t think I’ll be back until the weather cools down.

Dish Dive has a bijou, intimate setting but more on the homey, casual side. Parking can be a little tight: a few spots are available next to the restaurant, and if those are full, there’s a tiny lot in the back. I came around 6PM on a weeknight, with one patron sitting in the corner. By the time I left, the 16-seater was filled to capacity, the music’s volume slowly increased, the wine was flowing [except for my table ;-)], and conversations were growing stronger. Great ambiance, great service, and most of all, great food. The menu is simple, clean, and vibrant. Dish Dive is optimal for sharing, but as a general note, I would recommend 2 dishes per person. I ordered the Pink Speatzel(German pasta topped with a fried egg) & the Pork Belly French Toast. The latter was perfection on a plate. The flavors were on point, and I will definitely order this again when I return. If you can’t figure out what to get, you MUST at least order the pork belly. I absolutely love the fact that from the dining area you easily have an open view into the kitchen. Next time, I hope to sit at the bar to see the cooking in action firsthand!

Mid-week 6pm, there really wasn’t much of a crowd. We were concerned that there would be a line out the door as has been the case over the weekends. The space inside seats 16 people, but on a nice day there is double the seating outside. This time, we got to sit at a table inside while we waited for our friends who showed up 30 min late. The server was really nice and did not make us feel uncomfortable at all during this time. We sipped on our wine(BYO) while we waited. We ordered several things to share: pork belly, shakshuka, duck confit fries, rainbow salad, and the catfish po-boy. Cheesecake for dessert. Pork belly: This was the highlight of the night. Two tender, flavorful cubes of porkbelly and two triangles of french toast. Some strawberry and some crack sauce. All over a bed of something starchy. The pork cubes were decadently fatty, but still 90% meaty. These were not flavors I expected to work together, but they were perfect. Shakshuka: I’m not even sure how to describe. Mediterranean ratatouille with a fried egg, perhaps? There were vegetable, tomato sauce, fried egg, and pita to soak it all up. It wasn’t my favorite dish, but by no means bad either. Duck confit fries: I think everybody else liked this way more than I did. It was mostly gravy and peas, I’m sure there was a lot of duck fat mixed in that I was not appreciating, but it could’ve used some more duck. Rainbow salad: My second favorite of the night, after pork belly. Perfectly dressed and the pretzel croutons were the right amount of crunch for the rest of the dish. Catfish po-boy: This was my only true miss of the night. The bun was all wrong for a po-boy and there wasn’t enough remoulade. Too much slaw and the catfish was too bland, probably due to the lack of remoulade. I like the idea, and I was looking forward to it, but I would basically revamp the whole dish. I would come back to order the pork belly and the rainbow salad, and give some of the other things on this menu a try. Cheesecake: smooth and simple. Sometimes you don’t mess with a classic.

Came to Dish Dive the other night with my gf for an early dinner based on a friend’s recommendation and had a great meal. First off, it’s a really small place with a couple of tables outside and only a handful inside, but it was empty when we arrived, so that wasn’t an issue. We were greeted promptly with water and menus and our server was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the dive fries with duck confit, the oyster po-boy, and the roasted cauliflower. The food came out quickly, one dish at a time(which was perfect for us), and everything tasted great. It was more than enough food for the two of us. Our check came to less than $ 30 and we walked out full and happy. I’ll definitely be coming back again. Dish Dive is BYOB, but we didn’t bring anything. Next time we’ll be sure to take advantage of that.

Good tasting food. Pretty presentation. But it’s really expensive for the small portions you receive. I’d come here to hang out between meals for a quick snack/bite since their fries are spot on.

It’s really 4 ½ stars, great vibe, awesome music. The menu is small, but everything tastes super fresh, and delicious, and makes you want to come back to check out the new menu(it changes once a week or so) Had the Shakshuka, Pink Spaetzle and the roasted Cauliflower.

You guys, I’m in love. So in love with Dish Dive. He’s cozy, he’s accessible, and he’s highly delectable. I went to Dish Dive on a lovely, albeit a bit chilly, Thursday night. I walked right off of MARTA and stepped inside. Bam. Star one for MARTA connectivity. There was one table remaining, and it was made for two people. BAMBAM. No wait and a full house. We popped open our beers, which were conveniently procured from Ale Yeah!(although on a different night). BAMBAMBAM. Delicious beer. Ok. I’ll stop with the«BAM». And then the food. I had the Shakshuka. It was an epicurean delight. Really tasty. It was also v. hard choice as they have heaps of vegetarian options on the menu. My date had the oyster po boy. He would NOT shut up about it. Seriously. He was basically on a date with his po boy. Fortunately, I picked the place, so at least I played some role in the po boy date. We also shared the farro salad. Again. Delicious. And then the check came. What?!? Under $ 25? Is this even the right bill? It was fantastic. Wouldn’t have batted an eye had it be twice that for the quality. Service good and attentive. Playlist game strong.
