I don’t know how I’ve lived in Atlanta for 10 years and never been to this spot. Walking distance from Marta’s Buckhead Station and a stones throw from Corner Bakery and Maggianos. First impressions mean a lot and from the moment you walk in this place you kind of are in awe. The wall of wine is very impressive along with the modern décor. The bar is illuminated in lights and liquor galore above your head. Seating is posh and very tasteful. I ordered the cheese steak rolls and because it was Brunch on a Sunday, I also ordered the Chicken and Waffles which is topped with some of the best bacon ever. It comes with warm maple syrup or spicy syrup. I had both. Chicken was seasoned well and juicy. Just right. I have no complaints about the food. My friend had Chicken Fried Steak and eggs. She raved about it. I also ordered a Lemon Drop Martini. The best I’ve ever had. Dessert was the Lemon Cake. Took most of it home. It was delicious as well. Love this place.

I live in Charlotte. We have a Del Frisco’s there. It’s great, a beautiful expensive steak restaurant. Really the best experience in town and we have all the good ones, Palm, Ruth’s(2) Mortons and the Capital Grille. I was in Atlanta and took a friend to dinner. Del Frisco’s was suggested. It was nice, the food was good, it wasn’t particularly expensive, the wine list was very reasonable but it wasn’t Del Frisco’s. If I wanted the unexpected and unique I wouldn’t have gone to Del Frisco’s. A while back I was in Dallas at an expensive trendy place that was overrated and ridiculously trendy. The next night we went to the Capital Grille because we knew the menu, we knew the quality and we knew the service. This wasn’t even at all like the Del Frisco’s I expected. It was Flatbreads and stroganoff, not bad, but not like you expect. Stick to the Capital Grille.

First time there. Service was great! I was very impressed by the establishment and appreciated that both managers took the time to come say hello and ask how everything was. My water was never empty and nor was my Bloody Mary. If you are a Bloody Mary fan I highly recommend this place! Came for brunch and ordered the Crab dish. It was delish! Highly recommend and would definitely go back!

Went there with 3 couples for New Year’s Eve. Had a 9:30 dinner reservation for a late dinner and a toast for the new year at midnight. Our table was ready shortly after 9:30 so good start. The waiter explained they had one special which was a filet, lobster tail and crab cake combo when he came to take our order. A few in our party were interested in it but after ordering we were told that they were out of crab cakes but could still order without it. We asked if they would reduce the price($ 49) and were told no. What?! Ok… So they changed to steak entrees. When I ordered my steak I asked for it medium rare. I was told that«they don’t do medium rare because it always comes out closer to medium». What?! I know this isn’t the Double Eagle but they should still be able to get me a medium rare steak! I go with medium and now trying to have a good attitude because it’s New Years with friends. When my steak comes out it is medium but one person in our party who also ordered steak doesn’t get served for 10 minutes after everyone else. One of the managers did come over and apologize and let him know his steak was coming. When it comes it is medium rare! Lol. Seems they threw it on quickly for him. He and I end up switching because he wanted a medium steak and I informed the server that is what a medium rare steak looks like. They did give us all a generous pour of sparking on the house which salvaged some of the mishaps but overall not a great experience. Steaks were fine for the temperature cooked but have had better for the price and sides were average except for the Brussels sprouts which were surprisingly good.

Love their food and manager is really helpful and friendly. I love their pomegranate margaritas and being vegetarian I had their veggie burger and it was good.

I tried this place for brunch one weekend. We sat outside on the patio, and I do really like the space. There are good number of TVs which would make this a good place to camp out, have some appetizers and drinks, and watch games. That said, I did not think that the brunch with particularly good. I tried the chicken and waffles. It looked great when it came to the table, but it was a bit dry and not particularly flavorful. I also tried one of the cocktails and it was extremely sugary in the ingredients didn’t seem to be fresh. Perhaps I’ll return and try something else.

So I’ve heard of this place before from other friends but mainly they had been to the locations out of state. This was my first time and I was a Del Frisco’s virgin. Met my boss and other co-workers here after work. Be sure to valet in the back of the building because parking in this area can be dicey at times. The atmosphere is a bit upscale and the after work crowd seems to pour in here after 5. Let the clock keep spinning and you will start to see the crowd turn to a more relaxed and the feel becomes more like a lounge. So a few of us got the ribeye & one got the salmon. I wouldn’t say that the food blew me or anyone else away but it was decent. Apps, main & drinks came out quickly and the waitress never let our glasses get empty. Now would I come back here again if I were paying? Hmmmm maybe once but it would never be a permanent spot on my rotation.

Excellent place to stop while in Buckhead/Lenox area of Atlanta! We were walking by and decided to stop for one drink to collect our thoughts and plan our night! We were pleasantly surprised by the upstairs bar and the two ladies tending it! We ended up trying the ahi tuna(excellent!) the mushroom flatbread(awesome!) and the egg rolls(pretty tasty)!! Excellent drinks of infused VIP drink of vodka & pineapple that was wonderful! Their knowledge of wine & drinks kept us interested and enthralled in this fun place with great atmosphere and wonderful staff!

Usually this is my go to lunch spot but lately things have just been out of sorts. I ordered the Wednesday special of the farmhouse grilled cheese and tomato bisque which was perfect for a dreary overcast day like today. Unfortunately I waited almost 30 minutes for a grilled cheese which would have turned out better had I let my seven year old niece make it for me. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be coming back. Sorry, Del Friscos we are never getting back together… Like, Ever.

Get the Nutella Bread pudding! I had the salmon with brussel sprout and quinoa salad. The salmon was decent and the salad was fantastic. I out the bread pudding first simply because it was amazing. I’ve been to many restaurants in the Buckhead area and this is one item that I would say«make a special trip.» bread pudding = 5 stars. The service was also very good.

I dined at Del Frisco’s for the first time tonight & I was amazed at how beautiful the restaurant was. The décor was lovely, the host staff was the sweetest. The manager, tall man with glasses, was absolutely amazing. I felt welcomed & so did my family. The salmon was delicious! The«VIP» martini was just average to me. My server could’ve been better, but other than that, I will definitely be coming back!

I would definitely come back. I am a huge stroganoff fan but never get it because it’s so heavy, trying to eat lighter in my old age. But I had to splurge and get it here. Hold the damn phone! A huge slab of short rib, pasta, onions, mushrooms and just enough sauce. The lightest stroganoff possible. If you like any of those ingredients and don’t order it shame on you. The cocktail selection is decent and the beer is delicious. Try the locally brewed Orpheus. It’s light, refreshing and will keep you satisfied. Not sure why this place was rated $$$ it’s really more like a $$. But what do I know. EATDELFRISCOS!!!

I wanted to update this review. I initially gave Del Frisco’s four stars but after a few more visits think it deserves three instead. The food is pretty good, but it really is nothing special and completely overpriced. For example, a handful of fries with parmesan thrown on top…$ 7.5. Tiny salad with a tiny piece of steak…$ 20. Charging high prices is fine, but you need something to back it up: unique dishes, quality food, excellent service… something. Del Frisco’s has none of those. A friend and I ate at the bar the other night. The service was atrocious. We spent well over $ 100 on snacks and drinks, but were repeatedly told«wait a minute» when we tried ordering anything else. Terrible, terrible service. The bartenders were completely absent-minded. I felt like the cast of the Jersey Shore was bartending…

A pricey venue in Buckhead, but lunch was on the boss, so we chose Del Frisco’s. The lunch crowd was minimal on a Tuesday afternoon around 12:30, which we were lucky for. We were seated immediately near the middle of the restaurant at an elevated booth for four. The décor is very interesting and modern, as it is a restaurant located within the renowned Mandarin Oriental hotel. The server brought us our drinks and took our order. I ended up ordering the Grille Prime Burger, which was essentially a fancy double cheeseburger. The meat was cooked to order so I didn’t get a chance to request how rare I wanted my beef. The meal also came with a choice of different fries, so I chose the Sea Salt and Parmesan fries. There was SO good but so heavy. The portion size for the side of fries was immense. I could barely make a dent in these fries after my burger and the amount of water I had waiting for our food. I would love to come back and try some fancier eats here, in hopes that they make something more special and better quality for my money! It amazes me how slow service was, though, given the slower lunch crowd.

I absolutely loved this place! This just might be my new hangout spot or date night with hubby. This gem is attached to the front of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Buckhead. Just entering the valet round-a-bout lets you know you’re in for a treat. Upon entering, you’ll notice this place is very modern and well designed. I absolutely loved everything about it. The hostesses were very nice and accommodating. We opted for the upstairs patio. The patio is very nice but it is kind of small. It was cool outside when we arrived but when that ATL sun came out… bay-bee…we had to ask for a table inside. The server wasn’t rude for our request to change tables either. Once we got a chance to browse the lunch/brunch menu. All #classics! Red Velvet Waffles, Chicken & Waffles, Country-fried steak, etc… We decided on the Cheesesteak Eggrolls for our appetizer. These were the best eggrolls I’ve ever had in my life and the sweet-chili sauce was bomb too! For brunch I opted for the Chicken & Waffles. It was really good! It comes with a spicy maple syrup that I liked better with my chicken than the waffle portion. They also have a kids menu that they serve too even though I did not receive one and had my two year old with me…(weird). Of course it’s mostly the regular kid stuff(chicken tenders/fries, waffles, pizza, etc.) All in all, I will definitely return! I really did enjoy the atmosphere and the food was really good.

Good spot for brunch, lunch or dinner in Buckhead. Bonus: You can wear your sweatpants, and there’s good people-watching. The décor is traditional American, but a little dark lighting makes it subdued inside and feel a little more upscale. There’s no license plates on the walls here. It’s located next to the Mandarin Oriental, so you’ll get to see a few Ferraris or Lambos parked out front. We’ve been for Sunday brunch, Saturday lunch and a Thursday night dinner and all were a good time, and that consistently good performance earns it four stars. Service is prompt, friendly, attentive and casual. Have never had any problems getting drinks. Was happy to stop by the bar after for drinks, and bartenders were seriously working hard and cranking out pretty intricate cocktails at a rapid pace. Impressive. The food is good. It’s not, «oh you have to go to Del Frisco’s and get the» good, but it’s consistently good. I’ve had a variety of dishes from salads and seafood to burgers, and nothing was really remarkable or unremarkable. The portions are solid and you don’t leave hungry, or worse yet, unprepared for the cocktails inevitably following the dinner. So the people-watching here is pretty hilarious. One of the best things about this restaurant is that it has a very diverse crowd and you see all walks of life here. The Mandarin and close surrounding hotels and offices help that out. The day we went for Sunday brunch, every other person was dressed in sweatpants. That same day we were entering as Ma$e(yes, the dollar sign one — you should know who that is if you’re in your early 30s) was leaving. I had to calm my wife down, who was pretty star struck, and get her out of hard staring mode. He was wearing an all-metallic metallic green outfit with long sleeves, shorts and an absurdly thick gold chain. That encounter alone is worth at least one star. Go to Del Frisco’s and you’ll most likely have a good time.

Mmmmm Del Friscos. Went there b/c of the patio, but we didn’t even get to sit there because it was packed! Boo. what’s the point in reservations when we can’t get where we requested to sit? Negative one star. That being said our server was very attentive inside. Ordered the ahi tuna tartar tacos to start; this was phenomenal. The tuna was fresh, diced with avocados, and placed between wonton taco shells — clever, clever! I, myself, ordered the ahi tuna salad(the tuna was THAT good) and it was perfection. For drinks, I got the youth serum, which is essentially a strong but refreshing martini. They put bits of mint as well as cucumbers to concoct a delicious drink! I’m still on a mission to sit in the patio.

A great place for a drink and some good food. Came here out of the blue, and loved it! Visiting Atlanta, you find this place amongst some hotels and very well hidden. Once you find it, you enter and are greeted by a warm welcome. The ambiance is great, the wine wall is spectacular to look at and the bar is beautiful! Our Waiter(G-MAN) was THEMAN!!! He was awesome and made our experience top notch. He made recommendations on drinks and appetizers. Get the Egg Rolls with the chili sauce. BOMB.COM!!! Thanks G-MAN for the recommendation here. Well worth it. The meals, awesome! The mac n cheese, superb! I am using words i rarely use because this place deserves it. I live on the west coast and travel to Atlanta twice a year typically and i will ensure this place gets my business every time! Great food, great people and great experience. Ask for the G-MAN and tip him well. He was awesome and made a lasting impression. Thank you.

Seems like a great spot for a business lunch, so I was surprisingly shocked to find it packed on a weekday night for dinner as well. Food — Menu has your a nice large selection of various items. Started with the mushroom flatbread — portion was large and could have had it as a meal. It had great flavor. Same goes for my tuna salad. I definitely took food home. Atmosphere — cool bar setting in the middle with dim red lighting, but booths around the edge far enough away where you could enjoy dinner without worrying about not being able to hear the person across from you. Service — Our server was on top of things start to finish, so no complaints here. I’d stop back again for the flat bread and drinks alone :)
