This par 36 course and driving range is located minutes away from the Airport approximately 4 blocks off Main Street in College Park. It may be only 9 holes but is LONG. Two par 3s, two par 5s the rest par 4s with doglegs, trees, undulations and water hazards. The greens were a little rough in early March but I’m told they are in better than muni shape after the weather turns. It’s affordable and the staff is friendly as were all of the golfers I encountered. It is certainly on my radar for a return visit.

College Park is my home course meaning this is the course I go to most. While it is not nearly the best course in the Atlanta area, it is one of the better values in the area. They have done a lot of work as of late to make it better. The people in the shop are very friendly and helpful. While it is only 9 holes, it does give you a variety. I do and often recommend this course to people to try out.

This course is actually nicer than i thought it would be. I paid 9 bucks to walk 9 holes and i think its only 15 to ride. The fairways were in good shape and the greens were decent. There is one hole(i think it was number 7) which you have to hit the ball over what looks like a sewage area(but it didnt smell so maybe its a swamp or something). This course is a helluva value. Oh and another thing i like is that at the driving range you can get a small bucket of 30 balls for 3 bucks. I hate how alot of driving ranges make you pay 5 – 7 bucks for the smallest bucket when you just want to hit a few before you play.

The four stars is for the value. The golf course itself can barely be categorized as such… but for only $ 7, who can complain? For the price of a medium sized driving range bucket, you can tee it up on the par 35 nine hole course and walk up and down the hills of «CP Muni». The tee shot over the waste area on number 7 provides the«signature» of this course. In the summer, for an extra $ 1, you can get a hot dog and drink to enjoy after your round. They call it «the dog days of summer deal» and you can’t beat it.
