SO when I go to buy coffee for $ 2.50 and I’m being charged an entire dollar more I’m not feeling it. Yes I get it, it’s only a dollar, but don’t up sell me because you’re trying to make some extra money. Let me tip you to make up for the difference if extra money was needed. Stick to the prices advertised and have happy customers.

This place is great! I live on Peters St and pop in for coffee every chance I get. It’s very convenient, the lattes are excellent, and the staff is friendly. There is plenty of room to settle in and get some work done, and the rooftop patio is a great place to get some sunlight while enjoying a beverage. The cupcakes are good, too! I’ve only eaten lunch here once. I had the shrimp and broccoli soup, and it was fantastic. My only complaint is that many days they are not open until after I have to leave for work. I know I’d stop by a lot more often if they were open before 8.

This is great venue for a business meeting with free WIFI(& plug in) with a purchase of coffee or tea. Quiet and able to focus without crazy noise and radio too loud. Very friendly staff. The new owner was very helpful and willing to ask the questions. We look forward to having more meetings & host events. Great lunch with nice atmosphere. Will make this one of our favorite spots. Thank to our wonderful Grant Writer: Ms. Q for sharing the spot.

Can’t say enough about how much I love this place. It’s definitely one of those places where everyone knows your name. No better place to go have a cup of coffee, get on the wi-fi and hang out with other cool people. Russel, John and Selvin are amazing and you’ll never be disappointed with anything you order here.

This 3 level coffee shop is located in Castleberry Hills, so if you know the area come prepared to walk a long distance from were you park to get to the Coffee Loft. I have been here several times over the past 5 years. I have not had a dessert nor beverage that was not good. The prices aren’t bad either. I love the ambience of this place. lovely warm colors and artistic pieces. A good place to meet up with an old friend to chat or venture upstairs and maybe have a meeting, baby/bridal shower or even a book club meeting. As another reviewer mentioned, the shop is located next to a homeless shelter, to it’s right side. So I would not go there after dark because I’m scary. But if I was with my crew then I’d feel more comfortable going when it’s dark out. Slice Pizza place is down from here and on the opposite side of the street.

I like local establishments and as far as coffee goes, this little spot is a place straight out of heaven. It is so cozy it even has a fireplace upstairs. The barista John is amazing and can make almost anything you could ask for. They also sell Sweet Justice cupcakes that are amazing! They get new flavors in every few days and I’ve been back twice just for those! Their caramel machiatto rivals that of Starbucks but tastes better knowing it is supporting a small business.

Happened to see the sign as I drove by as I was heading to another coffee shop. Something made my turn around and go in this shop. I was looking for a cozy space that feels like a second home and as soon as you walk in that’s exactly how you feel. In the front of the loft there are a couple of bistro tables that welcome quiet productivity with a very French flair. The coffee is yummy and the Sweet Justice cupcakes are beckoning. They also offer soups which I’m eager to try. Upstairs is cozy and warm with a fireplace next to a love seat, a table next to the window, and an amazingly pretty and gentle view outside. There is a third level and a rooftop terrace which will make me revisit to see. This place is great for a respite in Downtown and meeting a friend. So glad it’s reopened!

We arrived a bit too early for the castleberry lofts tour today and ended up wandering around the area waiting for the start of the event. We happened upon this cute, sweet little coffee shop that I must say had some seriously good pumpkin spice coffee(which I am a sucker for). The shop is located right next to the homeless shelter, though, so it was a bit disconcerting spending $ 3 for coffee knowing there were homeless people next door. But, other than the guilt over that, wonderful little coffee shop with nice indoor and outdoor seating.
