I agree with all of the positive reviews written about Ferry. I will add in my own personal experience and extra information. I first saw her many years ago through a referral of a friend. My friend had been going to her for electrolysis and waxing. Especially for her eyebrows because as she put it «I don’t trust anyone with my eyebrows except Ferry.» At the time I was not able to get in the electrolysis sessions. Life happened and recently I tried out laser hair removal as it was close to where I worked and there are many coupons for it. Well, it worked for some areas, but not for my face and it even made it worse(see one of my reviews about the possible side effect of extra hair growth, which seems to happen for women of certain ethnicities). I was able to re-visit electrolysis earlier this year and I was glad to see Ferry is still active in her business with Coco Salon. I have to drive a bit to see her, but it is worth it. She is a wonderful person. She is very honest, hard working, diligent and precise with her work. She was a nurse, and her experience makes her stand out as far as her skill and sanitary space. There are not many that still offer electrolysis and then on top of that, are actually excellent at it, and she is one of them. I have already noticed a difference after a few sessions. Generally thicker hair is a better candidate, though thinner hairs can also be eliminated but might take a few more hits. It takes time since each individual hair follicle is treated, but it is guaranteed and I have not had the side effect I had with laser hair removal. I have also had a facial, and compared to others, her facials are worth it. She makes sure to really clean out the pores and uses quality products. I would rather pay for that vs a fluffy spa one(no offense, I am sure those are nice too but I don’t care about the décor or candles). She has also waxed my eyebrows and I agree with my friend, Ferry is one out of two people in Atlanta that I would let remove hairs from my eyebrows. I am uploading a picture of her brochure(it has folds because I haphazardly had it in my purse). It shows all of the services and prices.

David at Coco Salon saved my hair from a disaster– at a friend’s recommendation I went to David to show hime my magenta/purple hair color from a previous hairstylist and asked him if he could repair the color to its original auburn/red shade. He was very patient, kind and professional — and after several appointments he was able to get my color back to a really nice auburn shade. I get compliments every day on the color, and am a LOYAL customer. Many of his customers have been coming to him for hair color and styling for 20 years +.

I have been going to Ferry Rami for 11yrs and she is the best, let me add that I have only let one other person touch me. However, she is the best!!! I will not let anyone else do my waxing, she is my one and only liscensed esthician. One thing I love about Ferry is that she is also a nurse, yes and RN. She knows and understands of course the need for cleanliness and sterilization and adheres to it. She knows how why and how often and how far things should be done and I respect that. Another thing is her wax is always clean and she DOESNOT reuse the wooden sticks in the wax. Why? It is unsanitary. So, if you are going somewhere that is, stop and start coming to Ferry Rami at the CoCo Salon. Note: She does not take credit or debit cards so please have a good check or cash is always welcome(smile).

I never understood why people go to a spa to get their public hair ripped out. Frankly, water music and lavender candles don’t make the experience any more pleasant to me. Ferry Rami has a bright, clean, small room in the back of CoCo Salon in Buckhead, and it has become the only place I’ll go. She is a total whiz with the wax. She’s quick, super efficient, relatively painless, and gets you in and out in a ridiculously short period of time. There are no frills here, now — she’s a petite Persian grandmother who used to be a nurse, and she’s all business. You go into her room, drop trou, and hop on her table. It’s a little unceremonious, but she gets EVERYTHING, and quickly, and you are all cleaned up and out of there before you know it. Ferry also does manicures, pedicures, facials, and electrolysis, but I’ve only ever gone for the waxing. She handles the men, too. Prices are pretty reasonable($ 26 for a bikini, $ 45 for a Brazilian bikini), and her price list is humorously specific($ 5 for a toe wax, $ 8 for the stomach, $ 15 for men’s shoulder) — I get the feeling she’s seen it all. The only catch is that she doesn’t take credit cards. It’s sort of a one-woman operation. Remember to bring a check or cash. It’s worth the bother.
