If you enter the class with an open mind, you might actually learn something. I know I did. I wasn’t sure what to expect with my court ordered classes, but Susan kept the class entertaining. I recommend using Choice Counseling.

Excellent people, wonderful classes. If this is something you need or have to do — I would highly recommend it. Most specifically, Susan in Sandy Springs, she’s wonderful!

Be aware that if you’re coming here for a drug and alcohol evaluation that these guys have a MINIMUM treatment program in place. That means no matter the results of your evaluation you will be deemed to need treatment in the form of 6 – 12 classes costing $ 35 each. Almost seems like a scam to me. Do yourself a favor and go to an independent evaluator.

I went here for a court ordered evaluation under the impression that they were honest people. I heard around that evaluators were recommending substance abuse classes(which are over 50 dollars a week) to people strictly based off of their case which was insane to me but they assured me beforehand that they didn’t do that. After my evaluation my evaluator told me that she was recommending that I take substance abuse classes based off, not my case, but the fact that«I had a substance in the car». After explaining to her that that was the whole reason I was arrested in the first place. She proceeded to say that she wasn’t changing her mind and that she thought that I could benefit from the classes. I offered to take AA but she insisted that I take classes with her and then began to negotiate weekly prices she could do. Long story short this is just a business for them, they’re not there to help in any way nor do they care about you. My advise would just be to save up for a pricier evaluation so that you actually get evaluated instead of being robbed by people that do so just because they can.
