Chastain Park Green Market

This new Saturday morning only green market in the parking lot of the Horseradish Grill (intersection of Wieuca and Powers Ferry in Chastain Park) is a small neighborhood market of maybe 25 stalls with a fair selection of bakers, one great meat purveyor offering tastes and selling amazing pork sausage and bacon and just a few produce vendors.
If you live right nearby or you are walking the loop at Chastain Park with your dog, it may be worthwhile to stop in and pick up a little nibble for breakfast or a treat for later from the charming couple at the back of the market with awesome ginger cookies, but it is not a large enough market (and it has no cheese purveyors!) to go out of your way to visit, at least not yet!
I really hope they will continue to add vendors so it will become more of a destination market.
