Can we spell«staph-infection-waiting-to-happen»? So I gave this place a chance because its conveniently located inside of Kroger and I was in dire need of 1) a pedicure and 2) some cherry limeade. I walked in and was told to wait about ten minutes. Fine. Then the guy told me to follow him to a chair and he filled the tub with water and sprinkled the blue stuff in there. So as the tub is filling and I go to put my feet in, tell me why I see black sock lint and soap scum floating around in my water!!! Keep in mind these«items did not belong to me… they just neglected to clean the tub! I told the pedicurist next to me that the tub wasn’t clean and while she«cleaned» it, I was especially glad that id brought some tea tree oil with me. Since everyone has an off day, against my better judgement I decided to give them a chance. After my feet had been soaking in my «new» water for a while, I observed that the pedicurists method of cleaning the tubs consisted merely of running water and scrubbing it down with a brush. Meaning, there was no cleaning or disinfecting agent used. As far as the pedi itself, overall they were ok. Idk if they think everyone in that neighborhood likes what I call«ghetto graphics» on their toes but the design she put on my feet came uncomfortably close to looking«hood». I just went with it… this time. I really didn’t want to be in there any longer than necessary if you want to know the truth. They left quite a bit to be desired. Next time I’m definitely just gonna get my butt up out the house earlier and make that bus trip to my usual place :-/
