Cheap prices for cute kid clothes. Lines can be a bit slow but otherwise it’s a great place for essentials!

I guess I never really cared much about this store(both of my kids have outgrown these sizes). Plus, when they were these smaller sizes, I could only find Carter’s in department stores. Anyway… my coworker dragged me into this store one lunch break when we were supposed to be going to doc greens. I wasn’t originally interested but remembered my sweet little niece/goddaughter whom I needed to get a Xmas gift for. Needless to say, I was excited about the sales throughout the store. The clothes were very trendy and extremely cute. They had something for almost every budget. I don’t ever plan on having any more kids(2 is enough for me), but if I did… I’d definitely visit this store.

Lucky for me, one of my good friend’s sister works for the parent company of Carter’s/OshKoshB’Gosh, and she’d been sending me coupons for 20% off. But they were always expiring within days of being sent. So I planned on heading the the Discover Mills location until another friend mentioned that this store was here. Turns out, I didn’t really need the coupons to get great deals(although, it’s always nice to get double the deal). It seems that they’re always running specials of some sort. While I was there in early May, the entire store was on sale, mostly for their $ 6, $ 8, $ 10 stock up sale. And at the store, they stamp a card once for every $ 20 that you spend, and after 5 stamps, you get $ 10 towards your next purchase of $ 10 or more. On Tuesdays, you get double stamps(so essentially, one stamp for every $ 10 you spend). They had most things in plenty of sizes. Only once could I not find C’s current size. They had a good-sized clearance rack at the back with lots of items in all sizes. And I’m only talking about boys’ clothes. The store was pretty evenly divided, but let’s face it, there will always be more clothes for little girls than for little boys. I’d say it was about 35−40% boys and 60−65% girls. I usually prefer the carter’s brand clothes at Target, Babies R Us, and Buy Buy Baby, anyway, so with these deals and the frequent purchase card, I’m not sure why you’d ever pay full price at another store. #Yelp365 — 128⁄365

We went in here to shop for some clothes for our new baby and they have some good sales in here. I don’t know if it was because it was around Christmas or if they do that all year. I’m not sure what the development itself is called but this store is in a very nice mixed-use type of development, which means it has a lot of nice retail shops with some residential development mixed in. It’s hard to say anything bad about Carter’s clothes, they have been around forever and they last forever. My only problem with this store was the staff, they weren’t unfriendly but we were trying to ask them about exchanging something and I couldn’t get them to give me a straight answer to my question and I wasn’t asking them anything complicated like the meaning of life or something, LOL. It was like I was speaking Chinese. Anyways, it wasn’t a deal breaker and i am certain we will be back here.
