So happy. That describes my overall relationship and my feelings about the flowers I ordered to celebrate my anniversary. I’ve been a Carithers customer for more than 10 years, although I’ll readily admit that it hasn’t been a constant thing. I guess that’s one of the reasons why I appreciate them. Back when I used to manage apartment communities, I was able to open a house account in my name to make purchases as needed for residents. Over the last few years I’ve called to send flowers a few times and I was surprised to learn I still had an open account with them. I don’t think they do those anymore, so please don’t call and say«I want an account like David K.» because a) they’re probably not going to open one for you and b) you might make them close mine. Now that we’ve decided that you’re going to pay cash for all orders(or buy a Unilocal Deal, like I did for one of them), feel free to order whatever you want. I usually have better luck when I request bright colors and reference sizes that are easily relatable. For example, last year for my anniversary i wanted something with sunflowers, reds, and so large it would be difficult for Edward L. to put in his car when leaving work. Success! It was beyond my expectations and cost less than $ 75. PS: This is my 1,100th review! I couldn’t think of a better company or experience to share for this Unilocal milestone.

I went to place an order today through carithers flowers. I spoke to 3 different people due to me not having all the information I needed to place the order. I told all 3 people that the order I was placing was for delivery tomorrow and needed to be there by noon. first 2 people I spoke to said that was no problem and they’d be sure to get it over there by then. However the 3rd person I spoke to said that they would have to charge another 10.00 for delivery for a total delivery cost of 24.99!!! that is outrageous! I was informed that it was considered express delivery and they charge extra for that. When I mentioned that I was not told about this by the other 2 employees she said she was sorry but that was the cost and it would have to be paid or they would not complete the order. Unfortunately I didn’t have a choice but to pay for the extra due to a last minute order on my part. I however did ask if I would have placed the order a week in advance if the delivery would still be as high and was told yes. They guarantee their delivery by 1pm but anything prior is an extra charge.

I never write reviews, but the service here was so bad, it’s almost unbelievable. I ordered flowers on Monday to be delivered on Tuesday for my mom’s b-day. I paid extra for next day delivery. I got a confirmation email and even received a phone call on Tuesday telling me that the flowers I ordered weren’t available, but some comparable flowers would be sent. I agreed to that and was told that the flowers would be delivered that day. I called my mom later in the day to wish her a happy b-day. When I asked about the flowers, she said no flowers were delivered. I called Carithers, but they were already closed, so I left a detailed voicemail. The next day(Wednesday), I never received a return call, so I had to call again. The man I spoke to apologized and told me that it was too late to send the flowers out today, but he would make sure they were delivered the next day(Thursday). On Thursday, as you probably already guessed, still no flowers. I had to call again and leave another voicemail, which also was never returned. I saw on my credit card statement that they had billed me for the full amount, next day delivery and all, so on the voicemail, I asked that the order be cancelled. The next day(Friday), I had to call them again since they don’t return messages, and was told that my order was being delivered. I told the representative that I asked for the order to be canceled, and I want a full refund. She told me that she had to find out if the flowers were delivered and would call me back, but she would issue a refund either way. Well, I still haven’t heard from her, but I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company. My mom did get the flowers on Friday(3 days late) and she told me they did not look good. I saw a picture she sent me and definitely not worth the almost $ 90 I paid. She even told me that the local flower delivery person told her that Carithers never returned their calls either about how to proceed with order. Very poorly run business with embarrassing customer service. Go elsewhere.

Ordered flowers for my mom for Mother’s Day. Quality is noticeably better than 1800 flowers or ProFlowers, prices appear to be pretty similar. It’ll probably be my go-to when I need flowers delivered to anyone in Atlanta(ITP or OTP). I have purchased some exquisite flowers for much better prices, however, so it’s pretty average in my book. The extra star because it wasn’t extra to have flowers delivered on Mother’s Day(Sunday) vs. Saturday.

Never again! I placed an order on Friday to have 90 dollars worth of flowers delivered to my girlfriend at work the following Monday for her birthday. At 2:30 Monday afternoon I had not received confirmation so I call to check the status of the order. The man I spoke with told me the order has been put on hold due to a lack of address. While on the phone with him I pulled up the confirmation email that I had received the previous Friday and read him the address. He then informed me that the order could not go out until the following morning. I told him that her birthday was on Monday not Tuesday and it was unacceptable. I also mentioned that had anyone bothered to call me earlier in the day we could have resolved the address issue and had the flowers delivered on time. I got no satisfaction. Terrible way to run a business that revolves around a product being delivered on time for a specific event. Next time I will take my business elsewhere.

My husband has sent me flowers from Carithers twice, and I am so impressed with them. The arrangements are unique, beautiful and of the highest quality. Just as great, though, is their customer service. My most recent arrangement had a piece broken off the top of the bowl, which I didn’t notice until I went to water them two days after receiving them. I emailed Carithers to see if there was anything that could be done and they responded immediately with an apology and offer to deliver a replacement the same day. It just arrived and is as gorgeous as the first one. They also included a little note and emailed my husband to let him know what had happened and that they were replacing the arrangement immediately. I would have recommended Carithers before this because their flowers are so beautiful. Now, though, I’m an even bigger fan. Great customer service is hard to find. I hope my husband continues to order from them for a long time(hint hint, honey?). ;-)

Incredible floral arragements! They always take my breath away. It’s wonderful when you receive flowers and everyone gushes over the arrangement!
