This is my go-to place for a great takeout lunch. I always get the same thing: curry chicken salad on wheat(with yogurt rolls and and grapes). The service is friendly and incredibly fast, and the food(including the fresh bread) is great. I grabbed lunch here today, and it reminded me to review Café at Pharr on Unilocal.I started at Subway with the intention of getting their $ 5 combo special, but the other patrons put me off, and the service was incredibly slow. I walked down to Café at Pharr and was in my car with my(much better) food before the person in line ahead of me at Subway even walked out! If you’re looking for a casual spot with healthy, fresh options, check it out.

This yummy lunch spot is my favorite! The best Chicken said in town with many different flavors to choose from. This particular location has tricky parking as the lot is small and it’s in the middle of Buckhead so that’s to be expected but it’s still worth it! I’ve gone to the other locations because this one snagged me as a forever customer! Can’t wait for Brookhavens to open up its walking distance

I’ve been here a few times. I think it’s a great option for a quick, on the go lunch. I’ve tried a couple of the chicken salad sandwiches and liked both the bread and the salad each time. It’s a little cramped to dine in and the patio isn’t terribly relaxing as it’s right on the busy part of Peachtree Road, but if you’re looking to dine out, this is a good option. Try the curry chicken salad. That’s been my favorite selection thus far.

Came here for lunch based on the rave reviews they received on Unilocal so I was looking forward to a good experience. Sadly, that was not the case. The gentleman at the counter was not friendly at all, and when I asked what he recommended, he looked at me like I had two heads before stating, «well it’s either a sandwich or a salad!» I ordered the Walnut Chicken Salad sandwich on a baguette. For the price, I was expecting to be wowed. Again, I was wrong. The sandwich was extremely small and was served with 5 grapes. The chicken salad was nothing spectacular. I will not be back!

The food here is really good. Not the largest portions, but if you eat everything on the plate it’s filling even for a big guy. I like the walnut chicken salad best, but all 3 kinds are great. The service is always quick and friendly, and the restaurant is always clean. This is definitely a place to go out of your way for if you’ve never been.

$ 15 lunch and we are always hungry an hour later! Good fresh food but PORTIONSARESMALLANDIT’S $$$… Dont’ get me wrong… I like café at pharr. I’ve been to most of the locations around town. The food is always consistent and fresh but my friends never want to go there because we walk out after a $ 15 lunch and we are hungry an hour later. This happens EVERY time. All the buckhead bettys at this Peachtree Rd location obviously are on a diet and don’t care about this… but everyone else does! I know they do a lot of business at this location but I think the owners would do a lot better at all locations if they either brought the price down a couple bucks or at least gave you 25% more food. Personally I would be OK with a $ 15 lunch but I want to feel full afterwards!

Cute little lunch spot(and brunch on sundays). The food comes out really fast and everything tastes super fresh. I’m a pescatarian so I don’t eat most meat, but I’ve heard the chicken salad is da bomb. Personally I would recommend the shrimp salad. :) if you’re driving by and trying to find it, it’s kinda tucked away in a little shopping center and it has all the tables outside with the pretty yellow umbrellas!

Always solid, good sandwiches. My favorite is the club sandwich. The chicken salad sandwich is skimpy on the chicken salad. Service is fantastic and super quick. This is a great place to get take-out when you’re in a time crunch.

The shrimp salad(no mayo, add avocado) was the bomb. It was fresh and filling with delicious ginger dressing on top. I will come back for this.

I have now been to Café at Pharr twice and it keeps getting better. There is one problem, I will never try another item on the menu, because the Walnut Chicken Salad Sandwich is unreal! From the homemade wheat bread, to the perfectly ripe tomatoes, to possibly the best chicken salad I have ever had, it was simply outstanding. Today we sat out on the front patio where it was covered by shade from some trees and it helped us beat the heat. This is one of the best lunch spots in Buckhead.

This lovely café is located right down the street from our office. Kelly M. & I love stopping by during our lunch break for their amazing lunch options. During our last visit, we introduced another co-worker to their fantastic sandwiches and black coffee. The service here is always great and the only draw back is that it’s sometimes difficult to find a parking spot during the lunch rush. They are located at the end of a strip mall right off of Peachtree Rd and not only do they attract the folks of corporate America here but they also welcome the«ladies who lunch» of Buckhead and everyone else in between. When asked, they confirmed that all their bread is made fresh in house, every morning! You can easily taste the«freshness.» :) If you haven’t checked them out yet, be sure to swing by and you won’t be disappointed. They are not open for dinner so be sure to visit them before 3pm!

Love this little gem. They have simple and delicious food that is fresh and fast. The chicken salad(most popular dish) is to die for. Pretty decent service and outdoor seating… Love this spot!

I ordered the Ahi Tuna Salad from the To-Go menu today and was very disappointed. I specified that I wanted my tuna on the rarer side… however, it was probably the most cooked Ahi Tuna I’ve had yet. The tuna is the center piece of the salad and yet it was overcooked and dry. And $ 15 to boot! I will potentially try out the restaurant again to see how it is in a sit down setting, but as to this experience. it was very negative. However, on a brighter note, the yogurt rolls that come with your meal are delicious. I am very curious what type of «yogurt» is used as it was exceptionally creamy.

A quick, convenient place to pop in and get a relatively healthy lunch. The seating is pretty limited and a little cramped, so I would recommend take out. The food has always been good and fresh, and I think the grapes and yogurt rolls are a unique dessert combination that gives you just a hint of pleasant sweetness after the meal. The dishes are pretty simple, but good. As others have mentioned, their famous dishes are the salads — the mayonnaise kind, not the leafy green kind. The walnut chicken salad is good but I like the shrimp salad because it’s very light, just salt, pepper and a touch of mayonnaise dressing. You can either have your food served as a sandwich or a salad, neither of which is particularly exciting. Their famous ginger dressing is very good but the salads themselves are kinda boring. Just some greens and shredded carrots, really. In a similar vein, the sandwiches are just lettuce and tomato plus your non-leafy salad choice. If you do order a sandwich, their chicken and shrimp salads taste delicious on a croissant, as long as you’re willing to brave the extra calories.

I love this place. I only go with my mom but we both get the chicken salad plate. They serve it on lettuce with a yummy ginger vinaigrette. It’s light and slightly sweet with a tangy kick. It’s not too heavy and tastes fresh. Thats not the Only reason we eat here. All honestly, we come for the small sliver of a puff pastry they give you with each plate. It tastes like sweet air.

I had heard and read about Café at Pharr for several months now, and although I’m generally not a fan of deli sandwiches, curiosity got the best of me. So when my co-worker asked me where I wanted to go to lunch on a Tuesday, the first place that popped into my head was Café at Pharr. It’s super close to work(walking distance from my office), so it was convenient, too. We arrived around 1:45 pm, and there were maybe three tables of customers. I’m sure it was busier during the lunch rush from noon to 1 pm. Anyway, we were glad we went at the time we did so that we could take our time to eat and then stroll back to work without having to rush. As soon as we walked in, the employee at the counter asked if we would be dining in. When we said we were, he told us we could choose where we wanted to sit. Once we chose a table, a server quickly came over and handed us menus. I vaguely recalled reading about Café at Pharr’s «amazing» chicken salad sandwiches, so I knew I wanted to get one. There were three options — Walnut Chicken Salad, Celery Chicken Salad, and Curry Chicken Salad sandwiches(or you could have it as a salad). I was SO tempted to get the Curry Chicken Salad sandwich but ultimately chose the Walnut Chicken Salad sandwich. When the server initially asked me what type of bread I wanted my sandwich on(white, Wheat, multigrain, baguette, or croissant), I chose the multigrain to be «healthy.» I quickly changed my mind and chose the croissant after my co-worker ordered his sandwich with it. Although I knew the croissant would have many more calories, I couldn’t help it because it sounded so good. After what felt like less than five minutes after ordering, we got our sandwiches! * Walnut Chicken Salad Sandwich($ 7.50) — The menu states, «Entrees include chilled seedless red grapes and yogurt rolls.» However, I didn’t realize that sandwiches were served with grapes and yogurt rolls, too! Sweeet!!! =) I have to admit, I was initially disappointed because I thought the sandwich was really small. Yes, I knew it was going to be on a croissant, and croissants are generally small. However, as soon as I had my first bite, I knew this sandwich was worth it. Per the menu description, the Walnut Chicken Salad is made of «All white meat chicken blended with crushed walnuts and golden raisins.» I don’t usually like raisins in my food(I prefer eating them alone as a snack), but MAN, the golden raisins were great in the chicken salad! And the crushed walnuts were good, too, but I wished there were more mixed into the chicken salad. The grapes and yogurts rolls were a nice little«dessert» to enjoy after gobbling up my sandwich. Apparently, while ordering his sandwich, my co-worker(who doesn’t like grapes) had asked our server if they could substitute the grapes with more yogurt rolls, and they did! I thought that was nice of them. The grapes were sweet and good, but the yogurt rolls were great! They’re basically like little croissant rolls with a creamy yogurt filling, which were served cold. You get two little«slices» of the yogurt rolls. While I enjoyed them, I thought they would be super amazing if they were frozen! Froyo rolls… Mmmm… =) Overall, Café at Pharr gets 4 stars for their delicious Walnut Chicken Salad sandwich and tasty yogurt rolls. Although the sandwich was very good, I didn’t think it was the BEST I had ever had, so I couldn’t give 5 stars. Since it’s so close to work, I’m sure I’ll return. I definitely want to get the Curry Chicken Sandwich next time! [Review 265 of 366]

A better than average, and healthy lunch spot. They have four locations, and this Peachtree location is relatively new, after moving last year from Pharr Rd. Today my wife had the curry chicken sandwich(~$ 7.50), and I had the curry chicken salad plate(~$ 9.50). The chicken is chopped very finely and mixed with curry and perhaps a yoghurt or mayonaise dressing. The sandwich comes with thick white or whole wheat bread(untoasted…wonder if it could be toasted on request?). My wife combined the two halves and thus skipped eating one slice. My salad was the same chicken, which I thought was a little dry, though it was mild. The dressing for the salad was like a mild sesame/poppy dressing and was very flavorful. The management is very accommodating, as they let me use my groupon/half off coupon though it expired earlier this month. I’ve been here before, and will return.

My husband and I found a Half Off Depot deal to this place and since we had passed it recently(on Roswell), we decided to give it a try. Imagine our surprise when we found out the Roswell location was closed. So then we drove the 2 miles to the Peachtree location. Imagine our surprise when we found out it was only a lunch place. GAH. We finally stopped by a few days ago and I was completely unimpressed. After looking at the meals at the other tables(all sandwiches), I promptly told my husband that I didn’t want a sandwich because it «doesn’t look good». I got the curry plate and my husband got a chicken salad plate. Well, when I got my food the first thing I said was«this does not look good». It was just chicken and carrots in some sketchy curry sauce. What curry only has ONE vegetable in it? The rice also tasted a bit funny and the portion was ridiculously small for the price($ 9). My husband’s salad looked plain and unappetizing. His came with the«famous» yogurt rolls which were literally disgusting and some grapes. Overall, this place is a major ripoff. I would’ve never tried it except for the Half Off Depot deal and now that I have tried it, I will never be coming back. I gave it two stars because aside from the horrible food, our server provided excellent and quick service and was super sweet.

Yes, I had lunch here on Tuesday. Of this week. And now it’s Thursday, and I finished lunch here again just a little bit ago. Whatever could prompt me to double-dip? Well, David K. had never been, for one, and when a fun dining companion wants to try some place new, how can I pass that up?! My comments for today, short and sweet they will be. Obviously, good company. And I am pleased to tell all you meat-sandwich-lovers that the roast beef is delicious!!! I got it with Swiss added, on the same good French bread I had the other day, and it was perfect — medium rare meat(and lots of it!), fresh lettuce and tomato(hold the mayo and mustard for me), and all-around just right. Not being a big tuna or chicken salad lover, I can’t personally vouch for David’s tuna salad sammy, but he gave it two thumbs up during the meal! Tip — go on the«late» side, around one, to avoid the rush. Easy to get both a parking spot in the often-crowded lot, and no wait for a table if you’re dining in. Stay tuned. .. another Unilocaler and I have plans to go to lunch again next week. ..
