My favorite meal in Atlanta and the guys that run this location are the greatest. It’s hard to not get the sampler platter and an entrée do I always have plenty to take home

They were pretty fast for such a busy day, the service was friendly and open-armed, food portions were generous, and everything tasted fantastic. I didn’t have trouble finding street parking. Use parkmobile to pay and note the space number on the curb. Order at the counter and they will bring it up to your table. We got the chicken gyro platter, the small meze plate, and the fish platter and none were disappointing! It was the kind of food that you keep eating even though you’re stuffed! The small meze plate was actually huge and was packed with deliciousness. It’s the best one I’ve ever had! Everything tasted good together. Subtle babganoush, an eggplant dish, pimento cheese? I think? Hummus, fatoush… It was awesome and there was plenty of pita. The fish and chicken were cooked well. The dressing on the Greek salad had a perfect hint of sweetness. I’ll be back.

Loved their cold mezze platter, that in itself was a whole meal for me and every last bite was delicious. When I have a hankering for fresh, seasoned vegetables and a medley of salads, Café Agora is where I go!

This small Mediterranean grub hub will satisfy your inner Greek. It is cheap delicious and nutritious. The cashier is friendly and often gives away free rice pudding to pretty girls and nice people. Love the mixed gyro plate! The chicken is sooo good

Just Like Being Back in Turkey This is an outpost of the larger version in Buckhead. It’s a simple fast casual café where you order at the counter and they bring your food. The café could use a little sprucing up and decorating, but it’s OK. The four outside tables are very pleasant in good weather. The man at the counter is friendly and enthused about his wonderful food. Overall it is delicious. The Havuc Ezme salad is bright and fresh. The Iskender Kebab entrée was wonderful with great tomato sauce on top and a bright and fresh yoghurt sauce on the side. The Baklava was great and the Turkish Coffee rich and delicious. The only problem is that the nice counterman can get bogged down quickly if several customers come in. But he is so pleasant that it is easy to forgive that. Otherwise, it would be 5-starss. It felt just like being back in Turkey. If you drive, there is allowed free parking in the bank lot around the corner.

I would not recommend to anyone. Food is awful. I am not sure how people rate this place more than one star. It was my first time and the last time.

First time find. Went with 3 others and we all were sampling each others food and plotting our return. Standouts were the Sampler plate and falafel sandwich although I heard joyful sounds from the friend eating the fish sandwich… and the service was friendly and knowledgeable. All in all an excellent cost to enjoyment ratio.

Wow, what a gem and a great surprise. My sweetheart and I were having a late lunch and wanted to try something different. She’s a vegetarian and I am a meat eater. We found a wonderful common ground here with the cuisine. The server was terrific and recommended several different dishes. Every one we tried was excellent and have been back several times. Try the Turkish wine it is interesting and the pours are generous.

Very generous portions and nice, friendly service. Meat was a little over-fried in Agora Salad(with chicken) and Mixed Grill plate but still very more-ish. Casual place to eat with easy-going atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I are pretty much obsessed with this place. We always get the grilled chicken with rice. Then occasionally i get the tapioca which is amazing and I pretty much eat it until I feel sick. LOL Love this place!

The food was very good, We tried appetizers and mixed grills. Group of four from out of town. We ordered our favorites and tried some foods that were new to us. Ordered at the counter and B brought it out when it was ready. Service was great! Recommend sitting outside when weather is nice. We agreed that the baklava was the best we ever had!

Good service, great food, clean. The guy attending is really nice and really good attitude. iPad lamb and it was delicious! Don’t miss this place. The only thing that I would change is that they do not have tea, real tea ;)

Usually I go to Downtown for some good Falafel. But man once I tried food here, this has become my go to place. The Cashier is really cool dude. Portions are very generous and the food is fresh. When you walk-in you feel the place is little cramped but don’t worry there is alot of space on second floor of the building. I just love this place.

First time and the food was on point! I got the falafel wrap with fries. Next time, I would probably say no onions because I found them to be spicy but if you like that then keep them on. The man behind the counter was very cool. We got into it over soccer, since he’s a Barcelona fan and I am Real Madrid. Hala Madrid my friend! See you next time

This place is one of the best places in midtown. The food is AMAZING and soooo fresh! Also the cashier is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever be served by. When you come here you really feel taken care of. I love café agora.

Sitting on side street off of Peachtree St. in midtown, Café Agora offers awesome mediterranean cuisine at a very affordable price! The portions here are very generous and the staff is very kind. This place is on a the smaller side for a restaurant – definitely a café-type place(as the name implies). Don’t be fooled when you walk in thinking that this place has no seating – the first floor is on the small side, but there is a whole second floor for seating! Also, don’t worry – they bring the food up to you! For parking, you can either park on the street with metered parking or you can find a nearby parking garage. There is a nearby parking garage that is in the same building as Sweethut – you can park there and get your parking ticker validated(free 2 hrs) at Sweethut if you buy something there. Food: I had the chicken gyro plate and my friend had the lamb gyro wrap. I could barely finish my plate: it came with chicken, rice, flatbread, and a hefty salad. I appreciate that the tzatziki sauce was placed on the side. The double carbs(rice and pita) was a bit much, but no one says you have to eat it all. The wrap was smaller, but definitely looked filling. If i were less hungry, I probably would have gotten just the wrap. Bathrooms are also on the second floor. And they’re clean. Overall, I really like Café Agora Midtown. It has this small mediterranean restaurant café feel to it that I can appreciate. It reminds of me of this café in Berkeley called Troy Greek Cuisine, which I also really like. So definitely check this place out!

It’s so amazing how the best Mediterranean restaurant is located in the smallest spot. Café Agora is hidden along a street next to Peachtree Street. Good food doesn’t have to come with a flashy restaurant décor. I love the authenticity of this place. Walk in and you order from the counter. Get your drink and sit down anywhere. I like sitting upstairs. The food comes to you… fast! The service here is phenomenal. They are so nice. It’s so refreshing to see really good service. I just have to mention that. I ordered hummus to start. For dinner, I got the mixed grill plate. It’s a lot of food for a very good price. My friend got a giant falafel wrap with some amazingly seasoned and crunchy fries. We thought the food was amazing. The last time we had Medi food that great was when we were in Europe! If you are craving Medi wraps, kabobs and more, you have to swing by this Café Agora. I know I will. Check out my photos.

One of the best food experiences in my life! I prefer to eat simple, rich and good food. The food in this café suits to these preferences. Portions are super big, so you spend an average some of money and get everything that you need. I feel here like home, because food is amazing, seems like your mom prepared this for you. Waiters are friendly and attentive, can help you with your order and give a good advice. Mezza platter is a very good appetizer, and their also prepare beef or lamb very good. So, the meat comes off so juicy and rich for flavors! The place inside looks very simple, I would lie to see more colors. Good food and staff!

Family and I visited for the first time. Not familiar with this type of cuisine we ordered the meze plate and the grill sampler plate to try a little of everything. It was all absolutely delicious. Nobody in our group found anything that we didn’t like. We finished with one order of baklava(which was delicious) and they added 3 little rice pudding orders on the plate. It was delicious as well. Bottom line. Quaint little place with great food and very friendly personal.

Came here on a whim with some friends following the debacle that was the food truck festival. This is a great little spot and the portions are very generous. I had the gyro salad with lamb and beef and it soooo delicious! I can only imagine this spot is packed during the weekday lunch rush. Go, you won’t be disappointed! Oh, and it’s steps away from the Midtown MARTA station and has an upstairs dining area.
