I went to 3 different Rolex AD’s to try and get my clasp fixed, got the run around every time and finally went to go see Charlie. He fixed it in 10 minutes. Go see Charlie first. Tons of experience and very helpful.

Called Charlie from the Unilocal Review. I met with him and he gave me a good idea of what to look for while buying a used Rolex. The appearance of the shop may be deceiving but his knowledge is good.

I found this shop using Google when I needed my watch battery replaced. He asked me to come back in 10 minutes. When I did he said that it wasn’t working properly and that he would fix it free of charge! So I came back an hour later and he had it working. He also said that he needed to replace one of the screws, and that when it arrived(he had to order it) he would replace it free of charge as well! Also, while I was at the shop there was a kid there who needed to have a watch fixed. He couldn’t have been more than 16. When I asked what had happened he told me that he accidentally broke his dad’s Rolex and needed to fix it before his dad found out… LOL. The owner of the repair shop took a look at the watch and told the kid that it wasn’t a real Rolex and that it was a knock off, which was pretty amusing. I got the sense that he really knows what he’s doing. Anyway, definitely give them a try if you’re close by!

I sent my watch to Rolex and many other Rolex-certified watchmakers, all of whom said they could not repair my watch. But despite it all, Charlie was able to repair my watch to pristine condition. He stated that he had trained many years in Rolex’s HQ in Switzerland– not surprised! Why couldn’t I have found him earlier!
