Not the cleanest place, even as far as buffets go. The buffet featured a large selection of Asian and Mexican-influenced Asian dishes, but wasn’t good. The physical structure and seating was quite terrible also– ripped vinyl seats, gross everything. I can stomach just about any food, and I wasn’t eating this stuff. I won’t go back and I’d avoid this place if I were you.

The food is not very good, its all lukewarm, the desserts cakes are rock hard and the fruit is brown and mushy, there is some pans that are empty and a lot of unmarked foods, the waitress didnt bring straws for all the drinks or a drink for the youngest one, this is one plce i wouldnt reccommend, the tables are dirty and wobbly, and there is stains on the ceiling and the buffet wasnt kept clean, it took the waitress a while to clear our plates and there is only about 3 other small families in here aside from us and two other waitresses, so no excuse for this to be this way

Every buffet starts out @ 3 stars for me. Because who doesn’t love a buffet? Right? Unless they are exceptionally good, or exceptionally bad, they are A-OK by me. This one doesn’t really stand out from the other chinese food buffets, nor is it any worse.

This place should probably be shut down. My husband is constantly forcing me to go to sketchy buffets. After this I’m done. First of all it is so nasty and disgusting the floor is filthy the tables are dirty and the waitresses were literally standing around talking instead of sweeping that disgusting food ridden floor. The first table they sat us at was gross so I asked to move to a cleaner table. After you barely get over the nasty set up the food itself is wack. It just was not good. The stuff didn’t seem to be heated or chilled at a proper temperature to stop bacteria from growing. They could’ve possibly pass a health inspection if they’re sleeping with the inspectors. My little sister wanted an ice cream but the scoop was dirty so she asked the waitress for another one and she rolled her eyes at her and said that was just fine. My husband enjoyed himself but he can risk getting E. coli by himself next time.

Food was actually decent. Only thing, like a few reviewers have noted is that the temp of the food was lukewarm. Also, we were having a nice lunch when Juan Pablo(that’s what his name tag said) a regular patron, I suppose, hops into a chair, and blasts the TV on the Spanish channel. Gee, thanks. They have LOTS of food. Hot foods, fried foods, a salad bar, a hibachi grill area, a dessert bar, a fruit bar, and a very, very sad sushi bar. The keeper of the buffet got very perturbed with me when I pointed out to her that the pan for the Pepper Steak was empty. She angrily admonished me, «they cook more, they cook more in kitchen rie now, you wait, you wait, cooking». I nodded politely, and went back to my seat. Guess she didn’t want me helping her do her job. I’ll come back. $ 8.50 including drink. Pay first.

Like their hibachi for the most part. Food is fresher than most buffets I have been to. The downside are the screaming kids! Leave them at home if they can’t behave themselves in public!

We recently found this place, I wish we hadn’t… The buffet tables weren’t up to temp, most of the food seemed to be at a dangerously low temperature, and had been sitting around for awhile. Even the soups were lukewarm. Not good for egg drop or sweet ‘n’ sour soup! The waitress was the only thing worth noting as being decent. She kept our drinks full, but the food was not worth it. We all agreed at the table on this, and vowed never to return.

The reviews here a right on. The food is not to the correct temps and the children run the place. Not a great place to eat.

An Asian buffet in hugely Hispanic Plaza Fiesta is the comedic setting for what is purely a base Hedonistic exercise in gluttony. Clientele is 80% Hispanic, with remaining 20% a mix of black, white, and brown. 0% Asian, with the exception of employees. Food is sub par but available in mass quantities. Eat, eat, eat. Watch the Mexican landscaping crew take out the entire seafood selection in one sweep. Eat, eat, eat. Think about the plantains and lo mein combination on your plate for a minute. Eat, eat, eat. Look, that white guy has a salad! Eat, eat, eat. Oh my God, look how much food is on that plate! Eat, eat, eat. The plates stack up, no server to be seen. Eat, eat, eat. Watch the unaccompanied rugrats put their hands into the desserts. Skip dessert. Eat, eat… I don’t feel so good.

My family was hungry and we saw the billboard so we stopped in and ate. The selection on the buffett is similar to many others in the area. However, the food here was prepared horribly. While I know you shouldn’t eat sushi from a buffet, it was WARM and fell apart before it got to my plate. The rest of the food was bland, and had no taste. The service was bad. The guy at the front spoke neither english nor spanish, and didn’t understand«2 adults and a child,» which one would think he would’ve picked up after 20 minutes on the job. The watresses were all wearing dirty t-shirts. The condiments on the table look like they’ve been there for months without being cleaned or refilled. The restrooms… oh lord… the restrooms. The door to the men’s room was propped open, which helped the warm smell of truckstop feces waft out to the dining room. I’m sure there are some wonderful Mexican and Asian restaurants along Buford Highway, but this ain’t one! I can only imagine what the health inspector finds in this place.

They didn’t Salmon=is aiiigh «sushi”=just Cali roll. Not bad. False advertising tho as they say they also have Japanese. My recomendation is: $kip it

This place was really good. I think I’m going blind though. Is that supposed to happen?

Writing about my last Asian buffet experience inevitably put me in the mood for more Asian buffet. Figure that. But after eating at Asian Pearl, I think I’m good for quite a bit now. The giant billboard on Clairmont and Briarcliff let me know of their whereabouts, and they’re not difficult to get to by any means. They have a nice, large parking lot with little difficulty in finding a spot. They charge you about $ 9 at the door during lunch time, so then you don’t have to worry about being a cheapskate and wonder if they’re going to charge you for the soda/tea you’ll inevitably order instead of water. They boast a variety of different ethnicities, including Japan, Chinese, American and Mexican, and to their credit they have all the bases covered — barely. The greasiest taco I’ve ever eaten in my life I guess covered Mexico, the buffalo wings cover the States, two varieties of sushi rolls supposedly covers Japan, garlic bread covers the bonus Italian, and then the rest was predictably Chinese. Not to say that I wasn’t expecting this, but if they were advertising it, I’d have hoped to have seen like some quesadillas or something, too. But anyway, the quality of all the food wasn’t horrific, but I will say it was all, a little too much on the greasy side for my taste. Look, I can eat like a pig with the best of them, but when I have to call a place out on being too greasy, then trust me, they’re too greasy. To their credit, they had a few creative, new-to-me options, like jalapeño chicken, but the rest was very much mediocre. Staff was nice and courteous, but I’d rather the food be better at the expense of a ruder staff.

We went here on a Wednesday night as part of our normal restaurant crawl. You pay at the door when you walk in. The food was $ 9.80 including tax. This also includes soft drinks as well. The buffet was mainly Chinese with a few American dishes. They only had California rolls out for sushi. The buffet advertises American, Mexican, Japanese, and Chinese. There was no Mexican food out at all unless you count the jalapeño & tomato salad on the salad bar. $ 9.80 is not like your $ 20 buffet that has everything, but I guess if you live in the area it might be a deal if you are hungry and have a large family to feed(I didn’t inquire about prices for children). The hot items are basically anything you would find off a menu at a to go Chinese place. Honestly the octopus salad, the mexican salad, and the fresh fruit at the desert bar were the best parts of the meal. If you compare the price to Sweet Tomatoes or one of the other salad bar buffets you might get your money’s worth if you walk in expecting to eat salad. This isn’t the worst place I’ve been, but you should have low expectations when you go here.
