I went to Arif Lounge Thanksgiving Eve for a friends Bday and no complaints from me! Parking is free and CLOSE to the door. Music blend was great between rap and dancehall/​reggae. Hookah galore! Great vibe in the club. I’ll definitely be going back

This place is permanently closed now. :(. Too bad, it was a nice establishment. The hookah, drinks and food were always great in a very chill atmosphere.

I used to enjoy this place until the manager /​promoter was a total Jerk … asshole… prick to my friends and I. We were actually there to purchase a section after we realized that we wanted to stay and rink and smoke hookah. I guess they made enough money that night. I’d never go back… actually I haven’t been back. This experience happened earlier this year. I rather go to Love Lounge across the parking lot

I had a really good time. They play a huge variety of music. A little hip hop, r&b, old school, and african. The drinks were really strong. They have hookahs galore in there. It’s rather small but the vibe in there is so fun that you will up dancing and mingling. I would definitely go back again and try a hookah with a group of friends.

If I could give this place a negative star rating, I would. After my girlfriend got patted down before walking in, we sat down to have a couple of drinks at the bar. Once we got our drinks, the bartender walked around to the outside of the bar and sat down, not getting up the whole time to check and see if we needed anything, etc. I had to signal her over from across the bar to ask for our check. From there, it went further downhill… My legal name is William, but I everyone usually knows that Bill is short for or a nickname for William… like Joe for Joseph, or Bob for Robert, Dick for Richard, etc. Well, they wouldn’t accept my Visa card because my license shows William and my cc shows Bill. In all my years, I have never had an issue of my card getting rejected… and I mean never! I asked to speak with the manager and offered to even call my credit card company… this guy didn’t have a clue, nor did he care one bit. I then pulled out my AMEX, which did have William listed, but the bartender then stated they don’t even take AMEX. After all that, I just ended up paying cash, but this was in my mind terrible customer service! The place inside leaves a lot to be desired as well… small, unclean bathroom, etc. I would not recommend this place to anyone… there are much better places to go in that same vicinity.

Very grown and sexy… Good pricing and ppl… I can’t wait to bring a young lady here and set the mood in these great business…

This is a pretty cool spot… admission is free but parking in $ 20. The place has a nice chic décor and the service is par. It’s kinda small but if it’s not too crowded the space is ok. Ladies can wear jeans and heels… you don’t have to get «extra» unless you want to. The music here is awesome! I went on Thursday so I can’t vouch for other nights. Overall I liked this stop. For me it’s a laidback chill spot for nice music, drinks, and appetizers.

The customer service at this place is horrible! I have NEVER experienced something like this EVER! After spending over $ 1,000 for bottle service/​«VIP» and hookah’s one would only expect great service (but don’t). Security is horrible! One in particular had a thick accent and was extremely rude and unnecessary! This is one of the smallest places I’ve been to, no smoking (yet there are no signs) but you can smoke hookah and other substances?!? they wouldn’t allow part of the «VIP» to come in and said «everyone needed to wait» but security of course would allow others to enter? Valet is $ 25 and you would have to park your car yourself! I was smoking inside (as you’re able to smoke Hookah and other smoking substances and again there are no no– smoking signs) and the security with the thick accent and a shorter unidentified boy approached me and got in my face and told me «you have to leave NOW!» He would not answer my question as to why I needed to leave! He was yelling at me and I told him he didn’t need to speak to me like that and got in my face and space like he wanted to put his hands on me!!! My husband got in between and he told my husband I needed to leave because I was smoking a cigarette! That’s absolutely fine and I understand that BUT when you have no non smoking signs and other people are smoking everything else he could have approached me another way by telling me it’s non smoking and I would have put it out no worries! We would never spend our money here again, this was a first and last! If I could rate a «no star» I would!

It’s been renovated and looks pretty nice. Hookah’s good and tables aren’t too expensive. We got a table with 2 bottle minimum at $ 200 each. The music is pretty good with a mix of hip hop, dancehall and african music. The only reason I gave this place a 2 is because the bouncer and waitstaff are rude. There’s this promoter guy there who is rude and so is the owner who used to be nice and humble when he first opened. Customer service is essential.

My first time going there yesterday 01÷2÷2014 was not the best first impression. The contemporary modern futuristic look is great for people willing to pay the $ 385 for bottle and a section. The promoter was an asshole he made non table buyers feel like crap. But maybe my experience was isolated. Nevertheless the spacing and room for a decent crowd to dance was definitely not there… LET ME REPEAT NO SPACE FOR PEOPLE TO DANCE. This place is not a good place to bring your friends to enjoy yall self unless you paying for bottle. Parking is $ 20 so be prepared to spend minimum 20 bucks

This is not my get down, but as far as location, atmosphere and service it’s good enough. I just went for a bday party. The place is small and the music is loud. The seating areas are good enough and the bartenders are str8. The parking is cool and so is the security.

I would give this place negative stars, but unfortunately Unilocal isn’t set up that way. I attended the «re-​grand opening» of this establishment on 11÷2÷14 to support a friend’s restaurant. Our (I went with one other girl friend) friend went into the kitchen so we stood by the far wall outside the kitchen (by the bar) to wait for him. A bouncer asked my friend to move in order to clear the walkway. She moved, & stood closer towards the middle of the bar. I asked her why did she move, & she said the bouncer asked her to do so. He approached me & asked me to move. I told him there was an open walkway right in front of me. He walked pass me, & knocked me with his left shoulder. I said «really??» & snatched my arm back. From that moment, he escalated the «issue» to the extreme. He turned around, grabbed me by my arm, & then by my neck. We were then face to face, as he was carrying me towards the door by my neck. We then fell, I hit my head on the ground, he landed on top of me, & continued to choke me with both hands, one on top of the other, around my neck. He didn’t stop until a random male bystander came & got him off of me. That same young man was then removed from Arif, & jumped by several other bouncers. I was never approached or checked on by any management of this establishment, although I’m positive they were present the night this occurred.
I think that pretty well describes my opinion & overall experience of this «business.» You couldn’t pay me to visit again. And in case you’re curious, yes — criminal charges have been pursued, as well as a personal injury suit. I was able to find a past mugshot of the bouncer from 2013 —

I used to love Arif including its surrounding hookah spots for the chill low key atmosphere it used to have. Especially when I wanted to get away from the ATL «Hollywood» scene and be comfortable. This is not the case anymore after it was renovated it turned into a nightclub. The renovations look amazing btw but I can’t enjoy myself at Arif anymore.

I absolutely love this place. Went last night which was a little different since I usually go during the day. The atmosphere is really nice! International music playing, hookah smoke in the air, beautiful people. It gets kind of packed so unless you are ready to dance the night away I would get a VIP section. Either way it’s a cool little spot and the food is decent.

I love this place! Looks like I have a new hangout spot. Went on a Friday night and I loved it, only reason I gave it four stars is because It closed around 12:30 I thought at least it would close at 2am. Other than that the staff is really friendly and I love the ambiance of the place.

This is a hookah disco.
The hookah places I am familiar with are not like this at all.
I like the ones with comfy seating, lots of pillows and good service.
Here, in order to sit in a comfy seat, you have to buy a bottle, a $ 150 bottle.
I was not happy here, the music was blaring, and conversation was not to be had.

I recommend getting there early if you want to have a seat while you Hookah. There is a small section for non bottle service tables. But if you don’t mind spending at least $ 150 on a bottle of liquor, so be it.
The Hookah is good and I feel like we smoked the same Hookah for about 2 or so hours. There is a Guy that changes your coal quite often free of charge. Not only is the Hookah priced well, so are the drinks.
To top it off, the DJ is awesome! I felt like he was playing to my soul.
We had a great time.

No. A friend was having a birthday party here and we got there around 12.45 but they wouldnt let anyone get in (my party and some others). We overheard them offer some white guy off the slope (we literally saw this dude roll down some slope to the right of the door. must have been drunk already) to get in for $ 150. They said they dont let anyone in after 12.30. Bullshit. As we were leaving, some random guy said to come back tomorrow. No. Fuck you.
